Oh my gosh. We’ve lived in the KC area for years and their salsa is my favorite but we visited for the first time last weekend and it was the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. We decided to go back again two days later!! Highly recommend. It’s delicious.

Fantastic local restaurant with authentic Mexican food. Their menu is NOT the normal fare you see at other Mexican restaurants. Instead, there's a variety of choices you don't see anywhere else. Even better, their wait staff treats everyone like friends & family. Our waitress remembered the name of one of the men of our party. Looking forward to returning.

Absolutely awful food, and when I say awful I mean I went home sick awful. The chicken in my quesadilla was undercooked, dry, and 0 flavor. The rice was no better, tasted overcooked, and again no flavor. Even the salsa had no flavor to it. I should be impressed at your ability to make such inedible food. It also spits in the face if everything mexican food stands for you all should feel ashamed to be serving that kind of food and saying that it is mexican food. The service was just as bad it wasn't busy, and there were 8 other tables open, but for whatever reason, it still took 10 minutes to just get a refill of water. And the icing on all of this was I even asked for them to remake my quesadilla, and yet IT WAS STILL JUST AS BAD the first one came out cold and the second one was somehow just as cold! They must be grilling with the grill turned off because how is that possible? I warn you do not eat here it will only cause harm to your body.

We rediscovered this place as I had not been since college. The food is great. The service is always helpful and attentive. My family gets tacos most of the time and are a hit! The salsa is great. My wife says a little spicy. I love spicy so it doesn't bother me. I usually get the tamales but have got the chicken with spinach (I think the Argentine is what it's called). It was fantastic. Can't go wrong on the boulevard but this place a great one!

Stopped in for my son’s birthday dinner and damn! Food tastes great. The service was excellent. A clean environment, you can see into part of the kitchen and I’m a plumber. I’ve seen some nasty kitchens. Not this place, it was top of the line. And the food portions were ridiculous for the money. Ridiculously large. I couldn’t eat it all. Great job Margaritas. 👍 all day every day.

I love the margarita dip! I could eat that all day! The staff at the bar are always friendly and nice. Never had a bad experience there in 15 years.

Cozy place with great Mexican food that comes out quickly. The chips and sauce are so fresh. Soon followed by the pork tamales with rice & beans. Washed down with a famous Frozen Margarita. Outstanding!

I give great reviews usually and find it to take very extra effort to give negative reviews. This was absolutely terrible place. Dirty. Told the waitress three times that there was trash on the floor. Never picked it up. Restroom was filthy. Ask the waitress three different times to split up the bill in a specific manner. At least after the third try that was correct and I could leave. Very disappointing. Safe yourself the trouble and go to one of the other great Hispanic restaurants in the area. El Patron is fabulous!
