Wow! Went here with an elementary kiddo and a toddler and 3 hours wasn't enough! 3 adults and 2 kids ran $39 dollars and was worth EVERY penny. Tall about an all inclusive experience for the kids - check out the pictures! And I didn't even capture everything... the kids are already begging to go back.

I used to love taking my kids to the old Wonderscope museum on Johnson drive and hadn't been to the new one since it relocated. I was blown away. The kids had a fantastic time and there was tons to do inside AND outside. They have a sports room, a water table room, and indoor climbing playground, a little area for four and under kids, and art room, and much more. About twice an hour it seemed they were getting on the announcement system saying meet in such and such a room for story time or a pep rally or some small activity they had going on. It really was an awesome morning for my little friends. There are plenty of bathrooms around the building and everything was clean and there are tons of people working to ask questions or show the kids some cool things. We will definitely go back!!!

My kids loved it, we stayed over 3 hours I think. This is probably better for younger kids than Science City (that one is fun too though) but they are similar. Benefit of Wonderscope is free convenient parking and at least for me a little shorter drive. The play structure with the bus is a little scary with younger kids just because they can pop out the side of it and run off without you seeing, but some of the other areas are easier to supervise. Overall fun place for the kids. I recommend buying a Pogo Pass as you can try this and several other activities out for overall less than the price at the door.

PROs: Admission is not expensive. Great location. Clean establishment; staff will close off an area one at a time to sanitize & clean the area and then reopen. Plenty of parking in front of building. Plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for the kids. Very impressed with this place. CONs: Nothing. Great place to take the kids during inclement weather (if they're open). I didn't post many pictures with respect to other children and their family. Looking forward to revisiting KC and taking the grandkids here again.

This was one of the coolest places I have taken my kids this far. We were there from 12-close and still had more we could do. The kids loved story time and got to make a super hero craft. All of the staff is very friendly and work hard to keep everything picked up while the kids play. They also have “mouth toy” bins for toys that littles put in their mouth. The Market was so cute and all the kids loved being able to use a shopping cart. The water area was also a favorite! My kids would have stayed all day if they could! I highly recommend!

This is a great interactive learning experience for younger children. My girls are 4 and 7, but I would say 10 and under (if you have a "young" 10). The exhibits were very clean and they're following COVID precautions while keeping it fun and as little disruptions as possible. The price was reasonable. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

We bought a year membership for our family last year, and we've used it heavily! I've got 4 kids ages range from 3 to 12, and they all love going here. I've taken some of my older kids' friends, and they loved it, too. This place is like if Science City and Paradise Park had a baby. It has a water play area, imaginative play with the shopping and cooking, jungle gym, outdoor play including a sand pit area. They also offer fun learning classes that you can sign up for while you're there. It doesn't cost extra either. We usually have a difficult time finding an indoor place whenever the weather is too much. Check it out!

Fun place for my two year old… But Regnier family you need to seriously figure out what’s going on with your cleaning protocol! The dust is ridiculous on many surfaces! Ensuring a clean space for health is just as important as children having a great place to explore and have fun. All your low star ratings seem to have something to say about the cleanliness… I hope you take this seriously or we will not be renewing our membership if something like dust is piling up.

Oh my goodness, the new Wonderscope is amazing! We were so attached to the old Wonderscope, but the new one is truly better. It retains a lot of the allure and charm of the old Wonderscope (hands-on art space, water play, grocery store, etc.), but just improves on that. The layout is so well thought out — all the space is used so cleverly so that there are tons of little nooks for kids to play in. There’s tons of bench seating for the adults, so they don’t have to stand around as much as before. There’s a diaper change station centrally located in the play space. The outdoor space is basically its own play space — my daughter could have spent the entire 2 hours outside if I’d let her 😂. And possibly my favorite feature: the spacious carpeted under-4 area. My son crawled for about a year, and it was nearly impossible to find good places to take him during that time. This space would have been amazing for him during that time!

My family visited Wonderscope over the weekend. It was pretty busy when we went but my son still had a blast! He loved the water area the most but also really enjoyed the school bus, and the roller coaster track for golf balls. We could've stayed longer and I'm sure he would have still had fun but my husband and I were starving for lunch and the kids needed a nap. ;) We'll definitely be back!

Wonderscope was definitely filled with delightful wonders and gems for young children. They had sanitized to the highest level. It was very clean and well lit. Staff were kind and prompt in answering questions and responding to concerns. My 3 grandson truly enjoyed himself. I look forwarding to visiting more in the Spring and Summer with my other grandchildren. The restaurant, 💧 area, school bus, and grocers were my favorites. The price was very reasonable. The best part is that you have 30 days to apply your payment to an annual membership!

Love this place!!! Definitely KC’s best kept secret for kiddos! I’ve been to the old Shawnee location but this new building is SO MUCH BETTER! After the first visit at this new location, I bought a membership so we can go anytime!

What a great way to spend a day! I took kids she's 4-13, and they each really enjoyed parts of this facility!! When we came back in the afternoon, my bigs enjoyed a bit more space and less noise than the early day crew who probably went home for naps. The staff was so fun, helpful, and kind. The whole place was clean, including restrooms. Even this less-than-fun-mom had a great time and everyone was sad when it was time to come home. Thank you for a fun day!!!

Very awesome place to take young kids. They have so many activities that you could easily spend the whole day here! Our kids favorite places were definitely the art area, and the water station. It's also very reasonably priced to get it, especially for what they offer.

They called CPS on us because my child told some bullies to stop breaking things and to be quiet when the staff was talking. We were visited by CPS, at which point they concluded the case to be closed. How do you get a visit from CPS? When there is signs of abuse and neglect. So you're telling me my son, who actually had intended to be good and promoted positive change, is now being blamed and us parents have to be punished for this? My son never broke anything. Th told him to shut and and that they don't care, to my son. We never received one email or call regarding any issues with his behavior until CPS was called. He never threatened to hurt anyone or himself. Not even the director knew that CPS had been called. They jumped the gun. In Missouri its a misdemeanor to make false claims of child neglect. So many wrongs here and in the wake is now a child that has to pay and parents that have to explain to him why. Thanks wonderscope, I'm sure your own parents would have loved it if CPS would have been called on them.

We went yesterday, there was a guy (who worked in the water play) that kept taking the balls from the kids. All the parents were upset. At one point he grabbed one OUT of my child’s hand. I went and asked another employee to handle it, they didn’t. It was disturbing. We will never be back and traveled 3 hours to go! Absolutely disappointing! They also clean 30 minutes before closing, which should be done after paying guests have left.

Found this place online while visiting town and looking for somewhere to take our six year old to burn off some energy. What a fantastic place to visit. We all had a great time using all of the interactive exhibits. His favorite was the water exhibit and climbing all the way to the bus at the top of the play structure. The place was full of kids but we never felt crowded. The outdoor area was fun with several games and places to play. A great place to take the family!

We love Wonderscope and have had a membership for about 6 months now! The staff is wonderful. We love the teachers for the weekday classes, especially art class. Every time we go (about once per week) my toddler finds something new to discover. Very grateful for such a fun and educational space in Kansas City❤️

Very cool little place. Priced well and well thought out for children. Definitely a great place to spend a few hours just letting your kids be active and creative and explorative. Of all the things I never thought I'd watch my children work a shift at a grocery store!! Haha.

We had my daughter’s birthday party last weekend and it was amazing. The only thing is you only have one hour for the room. That is a short amount of time to have a party. 15 mins before the party to prepare the room and 15 minutes after to clean up.

This is the best for kids! It is an amazing place, people are very nice and my 2 years old had so much fun. I wish we have the same in France

Way too busy even when they were restricting numbers over the summer. Kids can hardly play with so many here. Need to restrict numbers more. Also poor design in their grocery area. Only one check out for everyone to use, need 3 or 4 more. Otherwise it is a fun experience.

We were members and chose not to renew. Part of it is because of their new ticketing policy that requires everyone, even members, to reserve tickets in advance. We were denied entry because they were at capacity one day, so I understand the need to limit crowds, but this way isn't great. We were asked to leave early because they were setting up an event (no emails or signs on the doors about this). We are frequently forced to leave exhibits so they can be reset. They clearly have a lot of growing pains they need to work out. It is a fun place, but it's frustrating to have to disappoint my kids because of all these new rules, random closings and overcrowding.

Our toddler loved going here. What I loved was how clean, organized, and child friendly the layout was. There were clear, designated areas for kids. There was even a section for young kids (like months to just learning to walk). One thing I was hoping to see but didn't was something with trains/trucks, but that didn't stop our toddler from enjoying the time spent there. It was definitely a place that would appeal to kids of (almost) all ages!

I don’t think you could find a complaint for this place if you tried. It’s comparable (maybe better) than the Omaha Children’s Museum, if you’re familiar. There are so many sections to appeal to whatever your kid might be into. I brought a 4 year old and an 8 year old and they both had a blast.

We have a good time every time we visit WonderScope! We bought the yearly membership, so it's more convenient.

Overall a great experience for my 2 year old! Very clean and amazing place for exploring and discovering for children of multiple ages. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was the staff. My 2 year old was told the “optimal” way to play with something, which in my opinion is whatever he wants as long as he is being safe which he always was. Felt staff was a little bossy and too often corrected my child for playing with something “wrong”.

Phenomenal place to have a birthday party for a kid! Private room had plenty of space to decorate, though 15 minutes to set up wasn't enough without a posse of friends to help. Kids were so excited to play that they didn't even care about cake so that should be a testament to how great this place is! Highly recommend for a birthday or just an entertaining afternoon activity! Make sure you have at least a couple hours to spend so there's enough time to enjoy all the different exhibits
