Went here for a date to celebrate our anniversary 💕 such a fun experience! We had both done axe throwing once before with our work outings but this was a far superior experience for both of us. The staff was super helpful but they let you practice and play the recommended games solo. They check in with you but not so much that you don't feel comfortable. The pretzels and cheese were well cooked and a perfect snack while thowing (not too messy. The mixed drinks were delicious- I recommend the "Walk the Line".

I can't say that I'd return since the throwing is a bit pricey, but was cheaper than the competitor and great for a one time experience. Stephen was super awesome and attentive. He probably helped us more than he should have, which was greatly appreciated! The other guys were also cool. The place is clean with a good location to walk around after. Food prices were very cheap and the wings were okay, but unfortunately made me sick. I'd return if I could afford it ;~) but highly recommended for groups, outings, or dates.

This is a fun outing. The atmosphere is easy-going. It is a good place to let off some steam. They have fun games to play. The area is safe. The business and parking are clean. The employees are clean You can order food and it is good. Overall, it is a great place to have fun.

So much fun! The staff are so great. They even stapled a bengal to our target in anticipation of the KC Chiefs vs Bengals championship game coming up this weekend! The venue is clean and fun. Even women over 50 like us can do this! No experience required. Don’t forget to wear your buffalo plaid!

Very good time for my sons 16th birthday, him and some friends and family had a good time. Last minute same day booking, booked in the morning for night time and got two lanes online, easier on computer then mobile phone to book... would recommend this place to anyone. Wife and I go to get away but it's also very fun with a group of people, friends or family.

We had an exceptional time as a family at Blade and timber! Our coach, Joshua, was so much fun. We will definitely be back.

My team had a great time doing a work outing here. Joshua was awesome, he showed us what to do quickly, multiple times as people arrived at different times. He helped us all evening and was always trying to make sure we were having a good time. If you are looking to do something different for team building, do this, hope you get Joshua.

This was a lot of fun. Lauryn was a great coach providing us with all we needed. After a while the wood targets started to wear out. Must be at least ten years old. We are planning to have a birthday party here for our son.

We had an awesome time at the Leawood KS location. Lauryn was an awesome coach and made the evening so fun for all of us!! All staff we interacted with was very cool. Definitely recommend.

Tried this place out for our staff get together! The ladies were just sure that they weren't going to like it, but they ended up loving it! The staff was very helpful in teaching us how to throw and helping us understand the rules. The ax was just the right weight, even our over 60 crew was hitting bullseye after bullseye. One of our guys hits six blue dots in a row! You will be a little sore the next day, but it's totally worth it! If you are going to go try ax throwing, this is the place to go. And give the Virgin Limades a shot!!!

We had such a great time. We celebrated my sins 25th bday. It was a perfect setting. We had a great time. The food and drinks were good! Will definitely go again.

This was our first time here and it was an amazing experience! Vincent was our coach and did a great job explaining the rules. Cali made sure we had an epic time and the nachos were so yummy! 10/10 we will be back and we will bring the rest of the family!

An axe throwing establishment with a quick waiver service and very friendly staff! Big thanks to the guys there, they were friendly, articulate, and encouraging to new people! I had a great time, and you will, too! Plus, the place was very modern and clean, always a plus! Go throw some axes here, you won't regret it!

We went here last night for a friend's birthday. This is our third time going here, We always have such a great time and the staff is always so nice and welcoming. They also do such a great job giving instructions! They explain all the rules and how to do it, then they demonstrate for you and then they have everyone do a practice round so they can show you what you need to do to make your throwing better and they will tell you what spot to stand in. There are numbers on the floor where you stand. I had made reservations and then called them to see if we could come in a few minutes late since my husband got home late and since there was no one after us, they said sure! We still got all of our throw time too which was do nice! I always recommend people come to this location. The only thing that I can complain about is the food and alcohol beverages. They just need more choices but other than that it's an awesome place and so much fun! It's 35 dollars per person to play but you get to do it for 90 minutes! Oh and have your waivers filled out ahead of time because it makes the check-in process way faster!

Cali was our coach and she was amazing! We were celebrating a 16th bday and it was perfect. We tried the pretzels, spin/artichoke dip and carnitas nachos. The food was really good. Only one in our group of 6 had gone axe throwing before. Cali gave us safety instructions, technique tips and topped it off with teaching us some trick shots. We will definitely be back! Thanks to Cali and the crew!!

We had a team building event here. They were exceptional to work with. The staff was very helpful with advice and help and juggling food and drinks at the same time. It was a great experience!

We took our son here for his birthday. The facility including the restrooms was immaculately clean. The service was top notch. We didn't eat or drink much but the servers were attentive. The clientele was top notch too.....everyone having fun....no profanity......great vibe! The staff was clearly focused on creating an experience to their guests...something severely missing in most places these days. Thanks for creating a lifelong memory for our kids! We will definitely be back!

We went here to try ax throwing. The staff was friendly and helpful when teaching us the technique. We had a lot of fun, and even added 30 minutes to our session. It is lots of fun that I would recommend people try.

Family had a great time at our first time axe throwing! Our guide Jack was very nice and a good instructor for these rookies. I would definitely come back and do it again!! ⚒ 🪓

We held our Holiday Party at Blade & Timber at Power and Light in 2019. We had a large group and was happy we could reserve the entire location for our group. Everyone had a great time. The servers were attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I would definitely book another event here. This would also be a great place to go for date night.

I'd never been axe throwing before and went for my birthday. We had a blast. Our coach, Emmy, was very knowledgeable and patient and helped us all improve. Another coach, Trevor, came over a few times and provided further instruction in the middle of other duties which was above and beyond. I highly recommend Blade & Timber for anyone wanting to experience axe throwing. Good chance we'll be going back.

Service folks were nice. Our group was the only 7 folks there. We could have used another round but the folks didn’t seem too interested in checking in on us. Place was clean. They did come back and show us some trick shots. Ok place. I wouldn’t do food it’s on par with basic ballpark nachos. Was still fun.

10/10 recommend!! Had a great time and the walk the lime drink was delicious 😋 *also learned i can throw 2 axes at once better than one! Bahaha we will have to return, very addictive!!

Our coaches were so helpful to give us tips and tricks to help us improve our aim and axe to stick. Lauryn was awesome at providing options for our group for the axe throwing veterans to be challenged.

Fun times were had here! Came here for a work outing and had a very good time. This location is conveniently located with ample parking. Staff were very friendly. For our group, this was the first time any of us went axe throwing. The staff coaches were very helpful and informative which allowed us to have a fun and safe time. Highly recommend this place.

Went there as a walk in on a Thursday night and they were able to get us in no problem. Lauryn gave us a quick lesson and went over the rules before letting us go. We only planned on an hour but had so much fun we stayed the full hour and a half!! I saw Lauryn throwing some underhand in a lane by us and said it looked awesome so she came right over and showed us how to do it. She was great about getting our drinks and came by often to see if she could give us any tips. We all had a great time and will definitely be back!!

This place is so much fun! Came here on a whim for a date night and it was a blast! The workers are all wonderful and most of them stopped by to help us if we needed. Emmy was our coach and she was so helpful in showing us what to do because we were doing it for the first time. I highly recommend this place!

This was our first time axe throwing. We are from Ohio. We stopped in Kansas City overnight on our way to the Grand Canyon. We arrived close to the end of the night and we were the last to leave. The level of customer service we received was brilliant! Jordan is an amazing instructor; he's very patient. Julia has a great smile and showed us how to throw underhand. We had a marvelous time! I can't thank them enough.

Amazing place! Had lots of fun and the atmosphere was amazing. We went on Monday night and there were TWO other people there. It was like we had our own private place! Will be coming back!

I'm not the greatest at throwing axes I found out, but maybe with practice I'll get it. We had a fabulous night. Thought 90 minutes was a little long but ended up being almost not long enough once you get started. For first timers I'd go back and recommend anyone try it. We didn't have food.

Sydney was an amazing host/trainer and helped some of the older folks in our party figure things out so they could stick the Axe! In 1.5hrs, our group of 6 was able to play 2 full games with some time where we were allowed to throw 2 axes at a time. Overall, super fun!
