This store is so much more than bird feeder and accessories. They have candles, earrings, clocks and more! We had an ant problem with black and invading our hummingbird feeder. They recommend Nectar Fortress, a natural ant repellent... Amazing! The ants avoided the feeders. Definitely the place to go for all bird needs and accessories

I love birds, but I was clueless about what kind of feeder to get, or how to start this hobby. The employees were very helpful in explaining the differences between the feeders to me, and gave me advice on how to deter squirrels from my feeder. Be sure to visit when the local O.W.L. Wildlife Rescue brings their rescued educational animals to the store! Fascinating to see real wild animals up close, plus part of the proceeds of sales for that day benefit the rescue.

I recently ordered an attachment part for my bird feeder pole thru their online system only to discover through a return phone call that they were out of the part. The very pleasant gentleman on the phone explained that it would be a bit before they had one but they did have a slightly different piece - one that would work just as well (albeit slightly more expensive). I agreed to the increase in price and ordered it. As we were returning from lunch about and hour later we were notified by our Ring doorbell that someone was at our door. We stopped the vehicle as it backed out of the driveway and spoke another pleasant person who explained that he had just delivered the part for my feeder pole - wow was I impressed (I expected it to arrive in 5 days minimum). The accessory fit perfectly on my pole and was delivered the same day from a town over 40 miles away - - - GREAT SERVICE. I will continue to purchase my bird feeder items from this Leawood store - they are great to work with and provide unbelievable customer service. I highly recommend this store!!!

"Many" of the products that they sale, have 100% lifetime warranties and the products that don't have a lifetime warranty they try very hard to "make things right"! I've had to use the 100% Lifetime warranty twice when heavy winds blew 2 of our bird feeders down and broke them both. Be sure the join the wild birds Unlimited Annual Club for discounts on everything you purchase. We love their large variety of shell free bird seed. It's much less messy. It's a fairly large place (2 business spaces wide), with everything wild bird related available. They have one of the best hummingbird feeder designs my wife has come upon. Easy to clean, easy to fill. Attracts lots of hummingbirds. They will even assist you carrying out large bags of bird seed and bulky items. Very knowledgeable and very kind staff all around. They've easily earned their 5 star rating. The only place I will shop for my wild bird supplies.

The best place to get multiple types of bird seed, suet, feeders, birdbaths, bird houses, and other items for birds in the entire metro KC area. They have wonderfully unique gifts and cards too. Every staff member and the owners Nik and Teresa are extremely knowledgeable about our local wild and backyard birds and are very helpful solving problems and answering questions. Stop by - you won't regret it. Update: New owner but still the best place to find the best bird seed and other items for our feathered friends.

This has been bothering me for awhile now. Sad to see that one of my favorite associates wasn’t working there anymore and I knew them by name. They were the nicest person and always compensated for when the store didn’t have what I wanted. This establishment has unfair treatment of workers and hearing their experience of how she was treated by the managers is despicable. The way they were didn’t make the manager happy even though I loved seeing them. Truly upsetting.

The customer service at the Leawood location is truly exceptional! I live about 40 minutes away and came into the store to buy several items. The nice sales person accidentally forgot to give me a ring to hold a raccoon baffle so I called and requested they just mail it since it wasn’t anything I needed right away. They agreed but that same day, they delivered to my house on the outskirts of the city. They went way above and beyond to get me taken care of. I will always purchase my bird supplies from this store.

There is a resident cat at this location and for people with cat allergies it's not good. I don't recommend this store for people with cat allergies.
