Staff was very nice.. Meat wasn't good and all the grease. I loved all the cilantro as I asked for, but the meat just wasn't good. Also wish the shells would have been doubled up.

I'm *obsessed* with this place! They just opened their dine it and it's such a vibe- It's the coolest taco spot in the city IMO. I really love their vegan menu items, it's so hard to find good vegan fast food but they've nailed it. Fresh fast food, a cool atmosphere & friendly/helpful service- that's 5 stars in my book. (: Can't wait until next time!

The food and the quality of the ingredients were amazing. Since I left Arizona I had been craving Carne Asada fries and this place filled the craving, and then some. The beer battered shrimp taco was so good I felt like i could have even 5 or 6. Definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed the tacos. Our favorites were the avocado and shrimp tempura tacos. The pamplona was our favorite cocktail.

Quality place! Enjoyed the vibe and the food. Great place to go to with friends. The ingredients are extremely fresh and its definitely worth spending $10-15 on tacos or a burrito. I tried the KC Burrito with chorizo. Looking forward to coming again soon to try more on their menu!

My sister, who lives not far away, brought me here for dinner with my 11 year old daughter. She has brought my daughter here before and my daughter had said great things about it. It was delicious! At this point I don't remember the name of the burrito I had but it was delicious. My daughter and my sister both really enjoyed their burritos also. Will happily come back!

The only time I went to TikiTaco on 39th Street was on July 16, 2022. The vibe at the place is meant to be a chill and laid back Mexican street food joint dishing out the California take on Mexican food, also known as Mexicali-style food. With an upbeat atmosphere, TikiTaco unites their customers together with quality food at its neighborhood taco joint. The storefront at TikiTaco features a walk- up window for takeout orders or when customers want to sit on the patio outside. The concept for the menu at TikiTaco is quite unique with options for tacos, burritos, bowls, desserts, and other Mexican dishes along with alcoholic beverages served blended or or thin. Some of the menu items at TikiTaco are also inspired by Polynesian cultures of food too. In case customers want to follow dietary or health-related plans, TikiTaco features vegetarian and gluten free menu items. The thing I ordered at TikiTaco was the Thai Chili Pork burrito and I had it with a drink of Horchata. My food at TikiTaco tasted really good, and I would visit again for more of their interesting dishes features on their menu.

I went to TikiTaco it last night and ordered the Asada nachos, Baja shrimp tacos, and a margarita. The nachos were layered perfectly with the cheese and beef just the weather like I them. I’ll definitely be going back.

I loved the concept of curly fries in my KC Burrito. I'm going to try making it at home now! They had a variety of meats and veggies options. The salsas were 25 cents extra a piece. The salsa had a unique flavor. It wasn't all spice, which was a nice change. I highly recommend this place. One thing to keep in mind though is that it is like fast food, and you do order outside.

This is our new favorite place. Every taco is amazing. Try the carne asada street taco, fried avocado, Korean beef, crispy beef crunchy taco. Love them.all. we have been back 5 times since we discovered it less than 2 months ago. Try it. You wont be disappointed! Yes. TikiTaco!!!

I am very disappointed with my most recent Tiki Taco order. This is my first time trying them in about 6 months and unfortunately the food was absolutely flavorless. They must have a different cook or something but this is not consistent with the quality of food I expected. I have eaten here before and their food was good! I am sad to say this is no longer the case. I ordered two hard shell beef tacos, a chicken Street taco and an Al Pastor taco. There was not one indication of seasoning anywhere on the meat. I mean literally I couldn’t see nor taste any remnant of pepper, salt, garlic, nor onion. It was a complete waste of money. If I wanted a nasty taco I would have gone to Taco Bell.

Overall: 8.8/10 Great tacos for a great price. This taco joint is a great stop for all your taco cravings. The outside walk-up window is a convenient way to grab some quick food on the go, and they don't sacrifice speed for taste. Each taco is packed with flavor and toppings for an extremely reasonable price. I ordered the al pastor, Abuela pastor taco, and grilled shrimp taco. Each one as tasty as the last. Paired the tacos with a pineapple(multiple flavors to choose from) margarita. This inside is a bit smaller with multiple televisions and tiki decor. It was a bit colder than expected inside but still manageable. Would highly recommend this place to fill your taco cravings.

My son was having surgery and we were at ronald mcdonald house so I had tacos doordashed. They were ICE COLD when I got them. I was so hungry I didn't care to bad 😉 They were delicious tho! Great prices!

Surprisingly tasty-- like.. now, forgive me, but... I think it's better than Mission Taco! Which is saying a lot, because I quite like MT. The bowl I had was filling and well seasoned, and the drink was mixed very well for how much I felt it! 😅 They have both vegetarian AND vegan options which makes it a safe place for your veggiehead friends. 🥬🍅🥕

I like the food but today I ordered and they served everyone else in the store first including people who came in after me. 20 min later they come to me and say they got the numbers mixed up and offer to give me someone else’s order. When I say no I don’t want someone else’s order the girl scoffs and gives me a nasty look so I just tell her you know what give me the food so I can get out of here. So pretty much it took them 25 min to get me the wrong order and offered no apology or even politeness at all

My fiancé and I go to Tiki Taco quite frequently- at least twice a month. Usually I order the mean bean burrito and it is awesome! I ordered the mushroom taco once and it was delicious too. Everything we’ve had there is delicious! I definitely recommend this place!

I absolutely LOVE this place!! It’s our go to spot for “date night” with my son or a quick bite after a game. Everything is delicious but the quesadillas are the best in town! The service is excellent! If you love a place that has great food, great service and has a family atmosphere then this is the spot! Summers are the patio are fun too!!

I got the Jerk, Sweet Chili, and Baja Shrimp Tacos. I enjoyed the Sweet Chili the most. The others were just alright. The nachos though were really good. I recommend those over the tacos, the whole menu actually. I’d say I rather pay the price for the environment and aesthetic of the restaurant than the food. It’s adorable there and all lit up. Oh and a big nope to the Horchata it tasted too powdery.

Kyle, Haley and the staff were super kind and helpful when I walked in. All had smiles and just good people all around. Now the tacos, AMAZING! You’ll find something for your palette no question. Get the house beer Good Time with your tacos. Definitely regret not going to Tiki sooner. New favorite taco spot even if I live all the way west JoCo. Thanks for the service guys! 100/10 rating.

I got the Birria smothered tacos and Smothered Chicken Curly Cheese Fries! I also tried the fried ice cream. It was so good I forgot to take a picture. Loved every bit of it. Will definitely be going back.

Easily one of the best street tacos I have ever eaten…outside of Mexico. Their soft shell corn tortilla is hardy and SOFT with a very satisfying texture that holds well in the hands and compliments ensemble of fresh ingredients. I tried only the veggie tacos. The jackfruit was scrumptious, decadent, and marinated in a Kansas City style, savory/spicy-ish barbecue sauce. Amazing. I, like many reviewers could eat easily 5 or 6 more—not because I am hungry but because they are so dang tasty. As a bonus they have sweet, local swag: t-shirts, hoodies, caps and cup insulators. Yum. Adding to this a funky, charming atmosphere with Latinx beats on the stereo. Get there now.

Fast and really solid food with a range for every taste. Jackfruit and chicken street tacos are really good choices. Multiple vegetarian options as well as classic Mexican cooked meats.

So, I did get tacos delivered which is a risky move. Quite messy, but delicious nonetheless. If they were good on delivery, I can only imagine how good they are fresh! Will be stopping by soon.

First timer and I have to say most excellent service and great tacos. If you want fresh tacos make sure you stop by. So many great choices too.

Took my wife here for a date night/15th anniversary. Tommy and his team served up not only some outstanding tacos, but also fantastic customer serve. The street taco with chorizo, Korean taco and Abuela pastor were absolutely awesome. We aren't from the area but we will return soon. Super family friendly and good mixed drinks too.
