One of the best experiences I had at an restaurant. When I reserved online, I let them know it was a party of one instead of two. I was celebrating self love after going through so much including the loss of my father and unborn child. They had the table decorated with hearts… the hostess, Rosie even made me a complimentary drink with raspberry and sprite. It was delicious. The food was delicious as well. Definitely will return. The service and was more than 5 star.

Stopped by for drinks after eating at another restaurant that had disappointing food and then ended up having an excellent house, New Fashion with the seared Foie Gras. The Foie was super yummy. I will be back for a full dinner based on the Foie, the cocktail, and the service.

Tried the off the menu wagyu filet steak, broiled at 1700 degrees. I have never, ever had a better steak. The steak was cooked to medium and was able to be cut with a fork, okay almost. Bela, our Hungarian waiter was fantastic showing our party of 6 all the cuts of meat even those off the menu special cuts. Also had the French green beans and sautéed spinach, all fantastic. Had some merlot and a Hungarian wine dessert along with a taste of the following desserts: pistachio,, key lime, carrot cake, and creme brulee all very tasty.

I had dinner in this restaurant for a friends birthday. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staffs were super friendly. So many amazing stuff to choice from. Since we were a big group, I had a chance to try a few different dish and all of them were tasty. The salmon was my absolute favorite. It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. This is without a doubt one of the best high end restaurant in Kansas City area.

Superb dining experience! Top notch knowledgeable staff in regards to food, and wine & spirits. They have a massive selection of wines to choose from & with help from the very attentive manager ,Austin?? You cannot go wrong!

Every time my wife and I eat here the food and the service are outstanding! We always leave with absolutely no complaints about anything and always look forward to coming back! It's definitely pricey but for a special night out like an anniversary or birthday once every few years it's 100% worth it. Can't wait to go back! Also if you can ask for Bela and Dawn, Bela is just a joy to be around and a phenomenal server and Dawn knows her stuff about wine and drink pairing, according to my wife she made the perfect wine recommendation tonight at dinner, they are amazing servers!!

I was blown away by the quality and selection of meats at 801 chophouse. I went in with high expectations, but they still managed to exceed them. The service was top notch, not just from our server, but everyone in the restaurant. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. I eat gluten free and I had no problems here. I can’t wait to come back!

Béla was awesome. Delmonico was delicious. Lobster appetizer, from off menu was amazing. Good selection of beers and cocktails. Cozy atmosphere. 10/10, will return.

What can I say, but that was the best meal my wife and I have ever had. Delicious food, gracious waitstaff, and a pleasant atmosphere. Well worth the price.

Our waitress was really nice. She helped us choose a great wine 🍷 and she was super nice. They were really nice to my 1yr old baby and we love the food!

This place is a favorite steak house choice from the first time trying it for a birthday experience. The quality of steaks and sides are great and will satisfy any appetite. It's a good place to celebrate with your spouse for a special event or family dinner with top shelf drinks to match. The variety of steak cuts to choose from are amazing like the bone-in prime rib or filet mignon. I enjoyed the meal and will be back for more!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food was excellent and the experience was like no other. We met out of town friends who brought two littles. Our wait staff not only took care of our needs but also that of our tiny guests! They had a fruit plate for the children, took them to visit the lobsters and subtracted the mac&cheese when one little wasn’t exactly please with it and brought extra fries for our little guest who was much more pleased with the fries. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! The experience was amazing from start to finish. Thank you so much for the amazing experience!!!

I’m delighted to share that my experience at 801 Chophouse Leawood was exceptional. The highlight for me was the delightful espresso martini, expertly crafted and bursting with rich flavor. The attentive service, elegant ambiance, and overall culinary excellence make this establishment deserving of a five-star rating.

Hands down one of THE BEST places for HH. If you are lucky and happen to snag a spot in the bar, go ahead, order everything on the HH menu. The bartenders and staff are so friendly and kind. The food was magnificent. Sooo good. The crab cakes were amazing. It was possibly the best ones I’ve had. The crabmeat was plentiful and huge.

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner there and we were blown away with the service and the food. Everyone said happy anniversary to us, the table had extra decorations due to our anniversary, and the night overall just felt even more special because of the extra attention the restaurant and staff had done. And with a different surprise, they gave my wife a rose which was very nice. The food was delicious! The portion was great and extremely flavorful and there was very little wait time until we received our food. Top notch! We had an excellent time and would definitely return!

Service was impressive and the atmosphere of back bar was nice. Sides were great but the meat left something to be desired for both people in the party. Ended up spending $$$$ but besides the great waiter it wasn't worth 1/2 that. Alcohol order was very overpriced.

I come from the home of great beef, but 801 Chophouse has the bone in filet that is the best I have ever had. Vitto our server treated us well, and the restaurant was loud enough to have vitality but quiet enough for regular conversation. Highly recommended!

We came in for drinks while waiting to go to Verdigris down the street and wasn't expecting to find this gem in plain sight. It was like taking a trip back in time. They have an amazing selection of popular and hard to find aged whiskeys and bourbons, martinis and much more. I ordered The Troon (martini) and the Cat's Pajamas (bourbon cocktail) and it was literally the cat's pajamas. Almost everyone in my family ordered their aged bourbon, like Eagle Rare and one other person ordered the Drop It Like A Lemon martini and everyone really liked their drinks. The staff were super nice and friendly. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Park Place.

My husband and I came here for our 10th anniversary for the moment we walked in the service was amazing. Our Green Coat Bela Illes was nothing short of perfect! Since it was our first time here he talked us through the menu, made amazing recommendations. The manager and host also just perfect! Thank You Bela, Austin and our host (sorry I didn’t get her name) for making our evening perfect!!

Food and service were fantastic! Pancetta wrapped scallops were amazing! The dressing on the wedge salad is so good. Steaks were perfect and the scalloped potatoes SO cheesy... but bring the BIG wallet! 'Cause it ain't cheap.

I went here on a business trip and the service was amazing. I don’t know much about steak but Nick took the time to explain everything to my table to help us make the right decisions. He also engaged in conversation and made us feel very welcomed. Would recommend 100% and thank you Nick for an amazing night!

An outstanding high-end experience. Certainly 4 star service. We had a seafood appetizer with lobster, crab and shrimp. It was fantastic. The shrimp cocktail sauce very fresh and just a little spicy. It was very unique and again outstanding. Steak is what you would expect from such a well-known Steakhouse. Got to try that cheesy hash Browns. Not an everyday meal for us but will certainly be on the list for special occasions.

Went here on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was full. You will need a reservation and use the complimentary valet service as parking is limited. We had Ribeyes which were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Very pricey is the only negative.

Came here to celebrate my birthday as I heard alot of rave reviews and it was one of the few places I saw I could get some A5 Wagyu steak. First and foremost, the steak was fantastic. Staff recommended getting it medium done but I think next time I'd get it as rare as possible. Appetizer was the tuna tartare and that was fantastic. I expected it to be chewer but it was damn near melt in your mouth. Highly recommend. Salad was the compressed watermelon. Having never had a salad with watermelon, let alone pistachio, it was really good. Main course was 8oz of A5 Wagyu (this was $280 alone as it's $35 per oz ), some mushroom and broccoli. Overall it was a great but I do have some nitpicks. The way their steaks are done, there is a heavy char all over the meat. I imagine on a thicker cut this would be fine but on a more delicate cut like this, it loses alot of the flavor in the edges. Center where it was closer to rare was absolutely amazing and melt in your mouth. The real highlight, surprisingly was the broccoli. It was cooler to perfection with alot of crunch and flavor still in it. Lastly, they comp'd me a desert as I listed this was for my birthday. Had the chocolate souffle and it was alright. It was a little too rich for my tastes after having the wonderful steak and tuna tartare. Overall, I would go again but only if it was on someone else's dime. Expect to pay a minimum of $150 per person no matter what you get but it will be great.

Fancy and intimate setting with excellent service and cuisine! We were celebrating a birthday and they put birthday confetti on the table, gave us menus with “happy birthday” printed on it, and a complimentary dessert with a message! Great spot for special occasions.

The Wife and I was here for Valentines Day. Because of that we had a table by the bar, and that is far from romantic. That being said, it was actually almost quiet there, and turned out to be a non issue. The preparation and presentation was excellent. The filet medallions had a crisp and tasty char, the lobster was moist and tender. The crab was perfectly cooked and cut. The asparagus was very tasty and the lobster mac & cheese was fantastic! Sure, it's a little bit pricey for the ambience, but the food quality and service truly make up for that. Nicholas, our waiter, was knowledgeable, personable, and attentive without being bothersome. Very professional and a asset to the company. We will be back soon.
