As someone who was born and raised in Mexico, I really appreciate how authentic their tacos are 💜. Cochinita pibil are my favorite tacos, the salsas are amazing, the staff is really friendly, the wild berry margarita is really good too. I absolutely love this place.

I think pretty much everything has been said about the food here! It is super fresh, wonderfully flavorful, and served quickly. Even the carryout is amazing! Great concept and spot on execution.

I really liked this place voted best kc tacos in 2022. Authentic street tacos with lots of flavor . I would say this is the 2nd best street tacos I have been to in Missouri so far. If you're in the Metcalf area of overland park, give this place a try. My favorite was brisket and pork tacos. I am going to go back to try the vegan option with mushrooms mole and burritos. Very generous portions of meat and fixings. Plenty of seating, and they have a patio .

Wow. Great quality, amazing food! We visited from the UK and popped into Taco Naco one late afternoon. The service was super friendly, and they gave us recommendations on what to have. I think I went for the breakfast burrito and tater tots, whilst my other half went for the Nachos. The portions were HUGE! There was plenty of seating and a free water cooler (which isn't a thing in the UK). The food was so good, I then went back up and grabbed churros, which were epic as well!

I heard about this spot and found it hard to believe you could find the such good Mexican food in Overland Park… But here we are it was so good! The chicken was flavorful and juicy- not dried out. Everything tasted really fresh. The XL burrito is deliciousssss and the tortilla it’s wrapped in is notably better than most. Me and all my coworkers are now frequent visitors.

I have been hearing about this place for having great tacos. So of course I had to try it. I saw nachos and had to try . I couldn't even get through half of these. I did get a taco because I had to and it was amazing. For sure worth going

Taco Naco is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in KC right now. I've been to El Torito, El Camino Real, Pepe's Carnitas, Tacos El Gallo, you name it. This place is up there with Pepe's Carnitas. They use good quality tortillas from YOLI's, which they sell there as well. The burritos are a little pricey, but they have good quality salsas you can use(and they're actually spicy with flavor, and they also have some weak salsas for those that can't handle heat). All meats I've tried have flavor. So far I've had the cochinita pibil, the brisket Barbacoa, and the achiote chicken. All straight 🔥.

I enjoyed visiting this place! I had two tacos: Chicken al Pastor, and the Tecate Fried Fish Taco. They both are generously served; big tacos. Both were delicious, but between these two, the chicken al pastor was my favorite because it had richer flavor. Ambiance is vibrant, and is well concurred. Parking could be a topic, especially if arriving after 6pm. Recommended!

Taco Naco, is a combined taqueria and market. Owners Brian Goldman and his wife and chef Fernanda Reyes never intended to have a restaurant at first. The idea started off as a class project and turned into a catering company that soon started selling regularly at the Overland Park Farms Market. Now with a storefront just a walk away from the market they have come a long way! Jillian and I have always loved Taco Naos's salsa and kits sold at the farmers market. We were finally able to visit their storefront and our eyes were opened to a while new world of tacos. You have a lot to take in when you walk into Taco Naco. On one side of the colorful, welcoming shop, you will find their lineup of salsas, as well as a lineup of moles, in addition to fresh produce. The market also offers a small curated selection of Mexican sodas, juice, candy and imported durable goods. And on the other side of the restaurant is the taqueria. We were welcomed in by several very friendly employees. Quickly they could tell it was out first time and offered to help us understand what they were known for. I had to try a Taco, a burrito and their street version. I was blow away by how simply yet extremely flavorful everything was. One of my open faced tacos was made up of salsa and a fried egg. It sounds plan, but you could taste the fresh ingredients and the smell was to die for! Then you get to the burritos which are wrapped in a local tortilleria called Yoli. If you have not visited their location near Blue Bird Bistro in Westport you should. Our burritos were wrapped in their pork fat tortillas. Its like eating something that should have its own slice of the food pyramid. These burritos were heaven all rolled up. After we ate we even picked up some of Taco Naco's salsa, tortillas and dips so we could make our meal this weekend. I am glad that decided to take a concept and make it reality I can't image a world without their tacos in it! Keep up the outstanding work.

I have no idea how I haven't been here before!! My family loves chips and salsa as a snack and I love that they have a variety of authentic salsas available for purchase along with other items and produce. I wasn't a fan of the corn but everything else was pretty tasty. Other than the corn I ordered a variety of tacos to try. This place is a must try and I'll definitely be back.

Love their original location just as much as their new Westport location, if not more! The food was amazing as usual, such great flavors and so many different options! MUST TRY their churros- they were hot, crispy and SO good- perfect balance of sweet and they came with dipping sauces. Love that this location has a better patio- would have been perfect for a nice sunny day and happy hour margs. Please just do yourself a favor and check it out. Reasonably priced for the flavor and amount of food you get as well!

HOLY GUACAMOLE. Whoever thought to put pomegranate seeds in guacamole was a genius. I don't know if Taco Naco was the first, but it's the first place our team experienced it so we'll give them the credit! We ordered a platter of tacos to share at our lunch-and-learn because it hit all of our various food needs of our team. Even the non-mushroom fan vegan enjoyed the mushroom tacos. The market is adorable, the decor makes me feel like I'm actually in Mexico. We are huge fans and will be back!

The menu has authentic varieties to choose from. The specialty drinks are great. Quick service. Six sauces. Would be nice if they were marked. Great from mild to extreme. I chose 4. Not bad, but enjoy a great sauce that is flavorful with some heat. The market is a nice addition. Food portions were just fine. Perfect for a quick bite. Enjoyed ourselves.

This place is a small Kansas City gem. I have visited this place twice and have been completely satisfied every visit. The service is quick and the food is hot and fresh. My favorite taco will have to go to the tecate fried fish taco. The XL chicken burrito is a solid go to as well. While dining in the restaurant I saw they had margaritas to offer. The margarita had a great flavor profile and great strength on the Liqour. I will be returning to this spot and if you pass by it I insist on giving it a shot. They have a happy hour also!

Awesome food, service and vibe. Love the street tacos and tostados. The salsas are all tasty, the creamy jalapeno and peanut macha are flavor bombs with a little heat. Love the handmade margaritas too. Authentic stuff, so good!

I've been to Taco Naco several times since they opened in the storefront. Chef Fernanda and her staff create some amazing tacos. Arguably some of the best in Overland Park. I'm working my way through the lineup. My last date tried the vegetarian options and said they were excellent as well especially the mushroom tacos. Kudos to Chef Fernanda and her staff. The retail store has outstanding products as well. The selection of homemade salsas are excellent. They range from mild to extremely hot. They also showcase other Latino products produced in the Kansas City area Overall you're missing out if you don't make the trip to Taco Naco.

This place is PHENOMENAL!! The moment you step inside it welcomes you with music, bright colors, and friendly smiles. The food is hands down the best! The mango margarita will sneak up on you! The churros with the cinnamon with a hint of spice with the homemade caramel sauce for dipping are addictive! Everything we've had ghastly been great! Gotta make it in for breakfast soon!

Came back to the home from 17 years in AZ. Loved that I found tastier tacos than I was expecting! Pretty garnishment of cucumber, radish, green cabbage slaw. Had to get more to go and discovered sealed margaritas to go! My Chihuahua loves his sombrero!

The food here is excellent. As the name implies, they offer an extensive range of taco options. Even the basic stuff is considerably better than the average Mexican restaurant. I got the burrito with chips and salsa on the side, and everything was made fresh and prepared with attention to flavors and textures. The service was friendly and efficient. Though I liked the bistro/bodega ambience, I think I'll get my order to go from now on. The plastic cutlery was nowhere near the equal of the burrito. The chairs were somewhat uncomfortable. And I accidentally ended up dining during a live music session, which rendered conversation impossible.

Been here dozens of times. Tacos are amazing. If you get nachos ask for the White cheese (it is better than the yellow cheese in my opinion) Margs are ok not my fav but tacos are the best tacos in kc! Salsa sampler is fun to get when you’re in a group. Breakfast burritos are always good. Quesadilla is a little bit on the smaller side but still good. The street corn is not what I expected. It’s more of a corn soup. I thought it was just like a side of corn so just be aware of that.

Have been here twice, service is excellent. Tried the vegan Mushroom Mole taco on a whim and it was excellent! Very flavorful Mole sauce. Their salsas are unique and flavorful. The small retail area saves me from driving North to KCK for specialty ingredients.

Ordered the Picadilla ground beef, asada quesadilla, pozole, pork pastor, and carne asada taco. All of the meal was excellent including the skinny citrus margarita and passion fruit margarita we ordered. I would definitely recommend this place, and it's one of the best taco places in Johnson county. Even better than some of the food trucks in the area. All the food tastes super fresh.

The staff couldn't have been friendlier! For that reason alone I will be back! They have very competitive pricing and a good variety! I look forward to trying their tacos. 🌮🍸

Cute little place. The sign says "coming soon", but the light up neon sign said it was open. The staff was very friendly, and the food was really good. The tacos are the pricier type, but worth it. They're a mix of traditional and modern.

Amazing each and every time I have been in.... Fantastic food made by real people in a city being strangled by corporate food chains.

Taco Naco is a pretty solid place to grab lunch. It's not an authentic take on tacos but they are pretty good. I had the chicken al pastor tacos and asada tacos. Both had a lot of ingredients which was nice. I recommend this restaurant for sure. Food is fairly solid. I guess my only gripe is that my tacos had a lot of additional fluid in them which isn't fun. But the taste and texture were on point.

The corn tortillas were like cardboard and super stale. The spicy pineapple margarita was $11, and I could take 2 sips, and ended up having to throw it out after gagging. The tables and the booth seats were covered in crumbs. We were excited to try this place but quickly decided we wouldn’t be back.

After a drought to discover real Mexican food living overseas in NZ ten years I stumbled across Taco Nacho this past Friday night. I’ve never been a chain Mexican restaurant fan, and Tsco Nacho affirmed my belief in great small restaurants. First, great service. Second, the gentleman tending the bar was great - gave me a try of one of the amazing maragarita’s and shared the Taco Nacho story. It was such a genuine gesture. When I arrived home and tasted the three different tacos — sheer heaven. Everything was fresh, including the sides of guacamole. Black beans, radish and cucumber garnish — all fresh. Our family is sold! We’ll definite make TN the priority in our places to chose for dinner out. I highly recommend a visit. Thank you TN. Your service, food, and attention to detail are amazing!

They have two vegan options. I tried the mushroom mole. It was excellent. This little hole in the wall has vegan options. Big chains can't do it, but they do and with a smile. The cashier was so patient as I checked out everything. Got the chips with the salas sampler. Be careful two are SUPER HOT. But one has this great smoke flavor, sham I can't do HOT. There was also a mole salas, SO good.

Taco Naco is an awesome neighborhood taco and burrito joint with a wide variety of salsas. Be sure to try the Peanut Matcha and Creamy Jalapeno varieties. They also have a shop attached where you can get all your Mexican food mainstays such as spices, produce, candies, salsas, sodas, and more. Be sure to look at everything they have to offer while waiting for your food. The staff is unbelievably friendly and if you ask for their recommendations, they won't steer you wrong.

I cannot get enough of this place and have not had a bad meal yet! You think these tacos are small, THEY ARE SO FILLING! Not as spicy as I thought it would be and a cute.little shop inside. Try the 🍍 water!

Carne Asada tacos were decent, wasn't a fan of the Al Pastor pork tacos. Margarita wasn't anything special but not terrible, maybe over priced a little. I'll give it another shot sometime maybe.

My wife and I were out for a late show at the Uptown Theater. We found Taco Naco still open... barely. We were greeted with a warm friendly smile and when we asked for suggestions we selected the Tecate Fried Fish Taco and Chicken Achiote Al Pastor Taco. I wasn't expecting much as we arrived very late. The restaurant was very clean and decorated in bright colors and very well lit. In just a few minutes our tray was delivered with our order. First and foremost they were assembled with care and pleasing to the eyes. We ate the fish tacos first, oh so very flavourful. The chicken tacos were next. We clearly loved the fish tacos best (just as suggested by the hostess), the chicken tacos came a close second. So much so, I ordered two more fish tacos all at near closing time and again assembled with love. The restaurant is locally owned and the Chef on the website declares his joy for cooking with not only fresh ingredients but with love. We could definitely attest this is the case, even though it was near closing time, each Taco was presented and assembled with care and love. We will be returning customers.

First things first: this place gets 5stars simply because of their Al Pastor taco with pineapple onion relish. I could stop there and that should be enough reason for any sane person to want to try this place. But if you need more reasons (which I’ve already established that you don’t) here’s more. Second, A strong gluten free menu so all your friends, who already suffer in silence in a donut-less world, can know the joys of good tacos. Third, excellent salsas to choose from. We had the spicy jalapeño salsa which was creamy and had a solid slow burn. Fourth, really tasty breakfast tacos. At 8pm!!!! Praise the Lord! Fifth, a rewards program! Free tacos!!! It’s like heaven on earth!! Taco Naco, we will be back soon!!!

Had no idea this place was down the street. Nice place, definitely worth trying. I had a margarita, tater tot app, and tried different tacos. The chicken taco was my favorite. Would’ve liked to have seen some Dia de Los Muertos decor since that’s a big Mexican holiday & it was only a couple weeks away.
