I normally go to the Hy-Vee next door to grab my dogs pet food, but they were out. I ran next door to Pet Supplies Plus and the second I walked in I was amazed at the fact that I saw so many pet items. I wish I had more time to stop and browse. When I found the bag of dog food that my two boys normally eat, I got a little nervous because it was the gigantic bag. I can't lift things very well because of a huge cyst in my humerus bone. I looked up and Jade greeted me with a smile and she told me she can help me carry it to my car. I was really thankful for her! From now on I will be shopping here for all my pet needs. Give this girl a raise! Thanks again Jade!!!

Never go to another pet store again. The Lenexa branch of Pet Supplies Plus goes above and beyond to make sure you know what you are buying and how to properly use or take care of whatever you are buying. On our most recent trip, it was for fish to put in our new aquarium, we met with Nikki, who was so lovely to my daughter and walked her through how to feed her new fish, how to clean the tank and answered a zillion other questions. We also had help from Bill, who recommended we get a snail. So now we have a snail named Bill. I'm confident Pet Supplies Plus in Lenexa is the best pet store in the KC/OP area. 10/10 will go back and 10/10 customer service!

I have been ordering/frequenting Pet Supplies Plus for a few years now. I was very happy to see they offered free delivery especially being a single woman and trying to get a 50 lb. bag of dog food to my car. There was a discount for pickup so I decided to order a bag of dog food for pickup instead of delivery this time. A day after the order was ready for pickup, I got a call from Eric saying he had delivered to my house before and offered to deliver that day. It was much appreciated and totally unexpected! I love giving my money to local businesses and I especially love it when I receive excellent customer service! I have also noticed their prices are consistently lower than Amazon. I highly recommend!

Dog wash is convenient and easy to use. The dryers are controlled by a wall switch and they are not hot which is nice. There is a leash attachment on the wall in case you don’t have a bathing leash. You can ask for towels at the register as well. Works really great for our three standard poodles. Sometimes there is also a free bath coupon available. It’s about $10 per bath and everything is provided except a brush.

High quality supplies. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The aquarist takes special care in treating every individual fish and aquatic plant like her own children. I purchased my dwarf shrimp there and the tiny critters are happy, content and healthy. She even went out of her way to special-order the moss I needed for my nano tank. The gentleman that cashiered made sure that I joined the customer program they offer. I saved quite a bit of money, doing so. I'm going to have a hard time not spending all of my money there! Thumbs up, guys. Keep up the good teamwork.

Horrible customer service! Today was my first visit & it was my last. An older male employer & the supervisor need to be retained on customer service. I was excited to see some sale times. I was charged the incorrect price. The older male employee didn’t catch it. I got to my car & reviewed the receipt. Went back in, he was challenging me on the price & had to go talk to his supervisor several time. I literally waited 45 minutes ! The male supervisor came up front to ring several white customers, he did not even apologize to me or offer to take care of the refund even though the older male was struggling with the transaction. The supervisor knew was was going on & never apologized or tried to help me.

They have everything. Even exotic pets food and supplies. Went in to get ferret kibble because everywhere else was out and online orders are 2 weeks away. This place has 2 bathing stations you can use yourself. I would definitely recommend it.

I would recommend any Pet Supplies Plus location but this is the one I go to. Huge selection of items, and for good prices. Even if the items you're looking for are on the expensive side there are always deals and I highly recommend signing up for a member accounts for all those great coupons. Staff is always nice and very helpful/knowledgeable. Love seeing the pups getting their baths as well as the adoptable kitties.

My dog had a mild skunk incident at night which I treated with peroxide, baking soda and Dawn liquid soap. Next day I took him to swim in lake to exercise. Then went into store. Stacy and gentlemen were empathetic and extremely helpful. They immediately got me a de-skunk shampoo and I gave my dog a bath in store. They were attentive and friendly. Thanks for helping me get through a tough time.

Milo and I went into the shop for the first time today and were very impressed! We bought a bath pass, treats, and toys! The staff was super nice and helpful! Will for sure be coming back!

With so few independently owned pet stores left in the area, I'm perfectly content to support a place like this over PetSmart or Petco and they have a decent selection, nice rewards coupons from time to time, and appear to take pretty good care of their animals from what I can tell. Would most certainly recommend.

I have been to this store twice from out of state. Both a year apart. The same guy has been saying forever he is knew. I understand if you are knew then someone needs to be here training you. Typically a weekend is the busiest. There should be more than 1 employee working. Each transaction takes 7+ minutes. All I wanted was a bath!!! The store in Colorado Springs is 110% better and I will spend my money there.

I've always had a great experience here. Except for one time, I had an older gentleman roll his eyes at me when I asked to get one more shrimp from the tank.. But other than that man, I love this store and the lady who takes care of the shrimp helped me out a TON when I first started my shrimp tank. This is my #1 go to for shrimp! They also have some really cool freshwater goby's!

Stopped by to give my dog a bath today, and even though it was busy back there, the bathing area was clean and well stocked with towels and things. Also had brushes to use, and a MUCH stronger dryer then ones I’ve used elsewhere.

Super fast delivery. Competitive pricing. Was expecting it next day and it came same day. I will DEFINITELY be using their delivery service again. I was always greeted well when I went into the store and delivery service did not change that. You have a devoted customer now.

First time taking my dogs there for a bath! Everything was supplied for us, excellent price and a great shop that I had no idea existed!

Im a tad biased because I work here. But the environment is really great. We always do our best to get you the things your pet needs. There is a self serve dog wash, as well as a variety is animals to adopt! Please stop in, and stop local!!

Employees are always kind and helpful. The store carries a lot of quality pet food and products and whenever they are out of a product they do their best to find it at a nearby location to transfer to the store for pickup.

This pet store has good prices. You drive up, call to say your name and that you are here to pick up your order (which they will quickly bring out to your car. I didn't get her name but she was very pleasant.

This is a pretty big pet store with a some dedicated parking so you don't have to compete for parking spots for other retailers. Went there for some cat food and they had a good selection. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. This is my go to pet store and will definitely go back.

Always friendly, compassionate with our dog and dragons. Always have our brand of victor dog food in stock unlike some places. Love the fact they price match other pet stores if you show them.

Fantastic pet store! Right when I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help. They showed me to what I was looking for and helped me decide on a good item. The prices are great and the variety of items is top notch. I will definitely go back instead of going to the big box pet stores from now on.
