I went in to this store because the kibble brand I buy said they sold what I needed. It took forever to find what I needed. I roamed around for a long time and was never offered help to find what I was looking for. Once I went to the counter the employee barely acknowledged me, only saying what my total was. I’ll never go back to this store. There’s plenty of other pet supply store in Kansas City and online options like chewy that has way better customer service.

Went to a movie at 1:00 PM and noticed that a gecko (next to a very filthy-looking fish tank), had no water in its aquarium. I went into the store after the movie, because the gecko’s water bowl was still bone dry. Asked the cashier if it was supposed to have water…she called someone else to water it. Another girl (who I’ve never seen before even though I shop here quite often) came and poured water into the aquarium from above but didn’t check on the gecko. I told her that I was worried because when they first opened, I saw a dried up lizard in one of their aquariums. She claimed she watered it that morning and said some bathe more than others. She clearly had an attitude and walked away. I turned to see her talking to the cashier and appearing to be mocking me, the kind of behavior you would expect to see from a child. I spoke up and said it’s about the animals. She appeared to mumble something else to the cashier and stomped off. I told the cashier that must have really made her mad. The cashier seemed genuinely concerned. I said I can start coming in here taking pictures with time stamps if needed. I also noticed the kittens from a rescue had about half a container of water that had something in it but at least they had water. This store should not able to sell any living beings.

The best place to shop for pet food and supplies in the city. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. This is the only place I'll shop for my pets.

I never leave reviews…but had to for this place. We are always trying to find places that just have good people that work there as we have two big dogs that need washed frequently. This weekend was the first time we went to Pet Supplies Plus and used their self clean wash areas. AMAZING. The space is amazing. They have the best set up that makes two dogs they hate baths easy to navigate. We will keep being loyal customers here. (They also have great prices and card member discounts!)

Submitted a curbside order 20 minutes before arriving to wash my dog. It included the deshed shampoo I'd need for her. The man that was coordinating online orders expedited mine (well before the projected time) and delivered everything to me in the wash area with a bright and friendly smile. Wonderful customer service!!

Recently experienced a shortage on victor hi-pro. They've had on sale but none on the shelves. My dogs have been on this brand for nearly a year. I never had this problem. Well, 4 locations of not having it. Amazon, it was! Wish if an item going to be on sale. Please order more for those who buy it, whether a sale is happening

Favorite place to get my dog supplies. Friendly people and bath area worth the club price. Bonus point for not adding to awkward when my 14 year old dog code brown. Again, sorry about that.

I’ve been very pleased with all things about Pet Supplies Plus. I go there for its convenience and selection. Friendly staff and recent price reductions helps too.

Really enjoy being able to place an online order and then picking it up a day or 2 later. Great selection of dog foods and a pretty fair rewards system.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the 95th street location. We buy dog food , treats, and toys there every month.

We take our beloved Dachshund to get a quick bath here often, as well as shop here to purchase her dog food and other pet supplies. Wide variety of treats, pet food, harnesses, leashes, toys and more. Staff is friendly, and usually the store isn’t too busy at an given time. We’ve experienced brief waits for the bathing stations, but they are just that - brief.

Todd’s customer service was so amazing I had to write a review. He greeted me at the door and carried the bag of dog food up for me to checkout while talking

The dog washing station here is cheaper than competitors in the area, and also open later on weekdays than all other places I tried. That’s a win-win in my book. Not to mention, the staff was super accommodating. Plenty of selection of dog treats and toys, all of which appeared to be competitively priced as well. Can’t wait to make it back in!

The Pet Supplies Plus in Leawood has the cleanest most stocked fish area in KC. Very helpful staff, I get all my fish there and will continue to do so

I used to buy everything off Amazon, for convenience. Pet Supplies Plus is so much better. Not only do they give you rewards, but their prices are better and they do curbside pick up. The friendly staff always make me feel welcome.

Where do I start, lets see…..with Goldie!! What a sweet lady. Kindest lady to ever work in a pet business. Helpful to all, sweet to children. Just love her. To the managers: this is truly the hardest working employee you’ve got. It’s a rare thing to find an employee this conscientious at any price & whatever you’re paying her is a real bargain indeed. The cages are always clean, her fish tanks are truly a pleasure to look at & it’s obvious: she really does care!

Good sized store with a ton of pet supplies. Good food options for cats and dogs and other animals. I wish there was more of a cat toy selection but I found some gifts for my kittos.

Excellent place to go if your dog needs a bath! The shampoo/conditioner for pups smells amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a bath card you can get for $25 for 5 bathes worth it!
