I’ve lived here two and a half years and was a member at a different gym before finding this one. This place is hands down the BEST gym in Florence! Location, hours, cleanliness, amenities, equipment, classes! It’s all ON POINT. Gyms in Italy are EXPENSIVE. ALWAYS. So I sign up for a year and am lucky to be able to finance it (they deduct from my account monthly, and yes there is a small fee for this convenience). I was paying €67 per month after the sign up fee and the medical certificate (which ALL gyms require here). I renewed three months early just recently and got 10% off plus no initiation fee. YES it’s relatively small (we’re in ITALY) and YES it’s crowded during peak hours (lunchtime and 6pm) but if you are able to avoid peak hours you’re golden. Lastly, the fact that this gym is connected to a luxury hotel means that it STAYS squeaky clean. I have personally seen the hotel staff wiping for dust on machines and the locker room gets cleaned hourly.
