I was looking for a new gym in my neighborhood and found this one on Google and called them to make an appointment for a trail which usually isn't required but the lady on the phone told me that I will have to go there first and look at the establishment first and talk with her but will not be able to try it on the same day which is a bit weird for me because I've been to different gym in this city before I moved and never required to do the trail on the different day since it doesn't really make sense to go to a place just to look at it and then go back another to try as it would waste lot of time. But the lady insisted even after I explain her the situation and she asked me with very rude and sarcastic tone about ''going to the gym for talk one day and then trail on a seperate day is waste of time?'' So I thanked her and decided to go back to my old gym - Klab Conti which is a beautiful gym only it's near Duomo and I was hoping to find something closer to Santa Croce. And at the end I found the lovely gym inside Four Seasons which has much better customer service than this one!

my husband and I have spent 1 -2 weeks in a number of international capitals. we try to replicate a gym experience close to our own in Philadelphia, the sPORTING club, which we enjoy so much. OF all the places we've gone, Tropos comes the closest. The pool, though a bit toasty, is clean and comfy, 25m long. the fitness area has just about everything you'd need. the management and staff have been helpful and polite. in short, it's perfect. The pricing of this gym is high but it is not possible to solve any problems. I will not suggest to pay in advance since if something goes wrong with the gym they are not responsive in solving financial problems.

Very well organized swimming pool. The children are looked after by the nannies, coming in and out, the parents remain behind the windows. There is an internal bar and a restaurant, as well as tables and comfortable sofas where you can wait and relax or have a chat. Definitely recommended.

I have been attending an excellent club for almost 20 years, excellent cleanliness, professionally trained instructors, the only flaw is the now obsolete changing rooms which would need to be renovated and modernised.

A nice place to train, nice pool. The instructors are good and helpful. It's a shame about the times of the activities in the swimming pool, high water, which do not give the opportunity to participate to those who work in the 9-17 range

The structure is dated but the staff is young and very friendly, the children are welcomed with enthusiasm, it is a service that you pay for but for a mother or grandmother who wants to give her children or grandchildren a fantastic experience it is worth it

Great indoor pool!

A guy has shown me the rooms and then I had to leave, because I said that I only want to train there once. Ugly!

Well maintained, very clean, sufficient capacity, and great staff. I predominantly used the pool for lap swimming (25 meters, 7 lanes wide enough to easily share), and while there are a number of aquatic classes throughout the day, I never had a problem finding a lane either to myself, or share with one other swimmer. The locker room are clean, the showers have great water pressure and temperature controls. I was there for just 5 weeks, and paid E320 (the rate for two months) - which is a little steeper than I expected (since they don't pro-rate. Unfortunately, permanent locker rentals are not available for less than a year's worth of membership - which meant I had to haul my stuff across town every time - but that was the only -very minor- ding in an otherwise excellent experience. You can rent towels. Friendly, helpful staff, nice eatery. Good equipment in the gym portion of Tropos. It's about a 20-min walk from the Duomo (but you could take a bus - I was there between Aug and Oct, and the weather was too good to not walk ;-). Will definitely rejoin when I'm in Florence next time! Special thanks to Fede and her team, and the nice helpful ladies at the front desk!

day pass isn't available. Based on the previous reviews... their policy on trial hasn't changed.. Trial is still not available. very beautiful facility but fairly pricy... 130 euro a month and another 30 euro for annual fee.
