Excellent. It seems a controversial place: some people love it, some people no. Pros: super well located, low price, cleanliness, bathroom & shower, good beds, very nice staff. Cons: no kitchen, but it wasn’t a problem for us. We stayed March 2018, very cold winter in Firenze, but the room was warm enough to have a nice rest. Highlight for the super hot shower in the coldest day in the year. Definitely recommend.

We had booked one room for the 8 of us and we reached early so they only allowed us to keep our luggage in the cloak room. When we could finally check - in we found that our group was split in two different rooms. Well it is hostel so we couldn't complain about sharing but ww wished they had considered the early booking and not given out our room to others. So if you are planning to stay together make sure you double check with him however I am not sure they will work that way.The rooms and toilets are clean but no amenities except for toilet paper was available.

I would not recommend staying at this hostel unless you are coming to Florence in multiples of 4 which lets you rent the whole room. The water pressure in flats is quite low which makes washing your hair quite difficult. In addition, the reception works on demand, that is, you need to call a person to come. In our case, the receptionist was not too willing to do so when we needed it.

Pretty good place, great location and outdoor seating area was good for meeting other travelers. Rooms were spacious and a good temperature even in stupid hot days. No bicycle parking although staff let me leave it in courtyard. I've stayed in hostels in other Italian capitals that were the same price but had more facilities etc, but I've seen a lot worse as well. Overall, a decent place.

The location is practical if you're moving by train, since it is within a walking distance to the train station. The room had a funny smell at the beginning, but it quickly went away. The owner is a very easy going dude, very helpful. But you get the impression that not a lot of effort is put into maintaining this place. The furniture is old, we had problems with the heating, there was no refrigerator in the kitchen and the second night the housekeepers just dismantled our beds and put the used sheets together with the ones belonging to the other guests in a big pile, without providing us with clean ones. Overall, it is acceptable for one night since it is convenient. But if you're planning a longer stay at the city, I suppose there might be better alternatives.

The door jams a lot but once you figure out how to open them it is a decent hostel. Beds were fine (but a tip is to remove the ladder for sleeping so it won’t creak all night) and it was nice to have a balcony. Staff seemed ok and the kitchen services were decent for our needs. Overall it was a nice place to sleep and close to the train station.

I absolutely loved the hospitality here. The lady here at the desk, Ayaka, was very kind and friendly. It was the hottest time of the year, but my room had a nice fan beside the bed and I slept with the window open to a nice courtyard in the middle with trees. I recommend this place!

We came a bit later in the evening and so the guy at the front desk upgraded us into a two person bedroom instead of 8 which was really nice. Their Visa machine wasn't working so we couldn't really pay for our stay until the very last day when all of a sudden it was working. The bathroom door didn't lock because someone broke it a few nights before we got there. The shower went from cold to hot and then repeated for the duration of my shower but it never got too cold. Everyone who worked there however was really nice. I liked the location of the hostel it was only about a 20 minute walk into the city. Overall it's a hostel not a hotel so if you go in with that expectation you'll be fine. Over all it was a decent stay. I'd say 3.5/5.

When I arrived, I was taken to another building, not the main house. No internet connection there, you had to go to the main building in a family room type of setting. Only once I saw the owner ( when I paid) . My room had dirty blankets and sheets. They looked as if the last passenger had left just hours ago. No time to change the sheets. Just to look at the pillows you could see they weren't clean. I even have pictures to prove it. The staff at the hostel were very nice and helpful though. But you could see that the owner didn't care much about the place. It IS close to downtown and the train station. I am positive there are plenty of better hostels nearby. Avoid this one!!!!

The place itself is completely adequate for what you're paying, but I had an awful experience with one of the staff members: I mentioned in my booking info that I was arriving at 22:30 (check in finishes at 10) and since my fluxbus was late I came in at 23 (apologizing like 10 times), the incredibly rude guy at the reception tried to get 10 euros out of me because of that, this fee is not mentioned ANYWHERE on their website. After I said that I'm not paying he suggested that I "make him an offer" clearly asking for a bribe and after I rejected he started shaming me for not giving it. Absolutely disgraceful!

Good for those on a budget, but I would not stay there again. Clean beds, nice courtyard, but bad locks on the doors, the toilet broke and the staff did not speak the best English. With that being said, the lady at the desk was very friendly and tried her hardest. It's also worth noting it is about a 10 min walk from the train station and right near the tram line as well. About a 25 min walk from downtown (bars, shops, il duomo etc).

Absolutely awful. No AC and only one standing fan to cool a large room - which we had to request as it didn’t work when we arrived. Bathroom would flood anytime someone showered, and when more than one person showered in the morning (keep in mind this is an 8 bed room) the first half of the room flooded as well. No amenities provided besides toilet paper, no seat on the toilet and a broken lock on bathroom door and the button to flush the toilet was also broken. The location is only remotely decent - all in all the cons heavily outweigh any possible pros I could struggle to come up with. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have zero other options.

Location is right next to train station, cheap rates, host is very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Room was spacious and clean, and accommodations were provided. For sure would recommend.

Really great hostel - great location, great atmosphere, clean room that was comfortable and everything working. The manager went above and beyond to host us - on the whole the place really made our trip. 5/5 recommended.

I’d return to Florence so I can hang out here again! The owners are really nice. Location is excellent.

Super nice hostel, I definitely will stay again! There were no cheap hostel available in centre Florence at that night and so we walked-in this hostel. Staffs (a married couple) were very welcoming, kind and thoughtful♡ Also facilities are good enough. Clean bathroom and toilet, warm/high-pressure shower, comfortable bed, and close to the station. Thank you for welcoming us and making the atmosphere like at home!

👍👍 The absolutely best place I have stayed in Italy. Its very clean, peaceful, quiet, extremely well located and with a great breakfast and sitting area outside.
