We were going to another restaurant with great ratings but it was closed. When I looked up restaurants in this area Caffetteria del Centro didn’t even come up but we had passed it and people were enjoying their lunch. Food is simple but wonderful flavors. And the owner, as many have pointed out, is very energetic and funny. Doesn’t speak English but through animal noises and laughter we figured out the menu. Well worth it if you are looking for lunch (at a time most restaurants are closed) if you are in Prato.

Great environment, the best coffe and cappuccino in all Prato. For me and my wife it’s the milestone in our daily routine. The lunch menu, embrace all the passion and love of the local cuisine cooked in place by chef Fabio. For my wife birthday they even made an amazing Rise cake just for her. I highly recommended for those who are passing by from Prato but also for those who are living there. The staff is very welcoming and ready to address any request that client ask.
