In
short:
friendly
staff,
horrible
food,
way
to
expensive.
We
are
rather
disappointed
in
the
quality
of
the
food
at
this
restaurant.
The
tartar
I
had
was
way
too
dark
in
color,
too
warm
and
tasted
raunchy.
It
was
very
hot
weather
and
they
clearly
didn't
keep
it
cool
enough.
I
was
afraid
I
might
get
sick
of
it
and
didn't
finish
it.
On
the
menu
it
was
advertised
as
"with
nuts".
The
nuts
were
clearly
standard
small
almond(?)
pieces
sprinkled
over
it
and
it
didn't
taste
like
fresh
nuts
at
all.
One
of
my
daughters
tasted
my
"dish"
and
was
horrified.
My
wife
and
daughters
played
safe
and
chose
different
types
of
pasta.
The
pasta
was
not
well
cooked.
I
tried
the
pasta
my
daughters
were
having
and
agreed
with
them.
It
was
not
even
"al
dente".
Substandard.
The
food
serving
was
spartan.
There
was
nothing
included,
just
a
piece
of
raw
meat
on
your
plate
with
some
small
piece
of
nuts
sprinkled
over
it
and
that's
it?
You
would
expect
some
fries,
baked
or
sweet
potatoes,
or
salad
to
go
with
your
piece
of
meat...
None
of
it.
So
I
ordered
some
salad
separate
to
go
with
the
tartar.
A
basket
of
bread
that
was
put
on
the
table
when
we
were
seated
was
charged
for
8
euros
because
we
took
some
of
it.
Ridiculous.
If
you
put
it
there
and
it
isn't
ordered
by
the
customer,
it
has
to
be
on
the
house.
Period.
That's
how
a
good
host
should
behave.
When
one
of
my
daughters
asked
for
sweet
white
wine,
the
waitress
said
there
wasn't
any
but
she
recommended
another
white
wine.
She
offered
my
daughter
to
taste
it
and
I
also
tasted
(after
she
said
she
didn't
like
it
at
all
and
I
wondered
if
her
judgement
was
right).
It
was
not
good
at
all,
very
'chemical'
taste.
So
we
didn't
take
that
and
sticked
to
still
water.
Water
wasn't
on
the
cart
so
we
suspected
it
would
probably
be
a
little
overpriced
and
guess
what:
it
was
completely
overpriced!
One
bottle
(less
than
a
liter)
of
still
water
was
charged
for
6
Euro.
Whereas
we
paid
1.50
in
another
restaurant
for
1
liter(!)..
So
for
one
bottle
of
water,
3
dishes
of
substandard
pasta
and
a
raunchy
tartar
dish,
a
small
salad,
2
cappuccino
(not
really
hot
either),
a
little
plate
of
fruit
and
3
pieces
of
apple
pie
we
ended
up
paying
well
over
80
euros.
Totally
absurd,
especially
since
the
quality
of
the
food
was
way
below
average
standards.
Two
days
later
we
had
a
great
meal
at
a
pizzeria
in
Pisa
where
we
paid
only
30
euros
for
4
pizza's
and
4
large
bottles
of
water,
..
and
it
was
superb!
The
only
reason
why
I
still
give
2
stars
instead
of
zero
stars
is
the
fact
the
staff
was
very
friendly
and
welcoming.
They
clearly
tried
to
make
us
feel
at
home,
didn't
mind
we
had
difficulties
with
the
language
and
were
very
kind
and
patient.
I
forgot
my
cap
and
one
of
them
ran
after
us
to
hand
it
back.
So,
good
and
friendly
service
for
sure
but
really,
foodwise
this
was
the
most
disappointing
restaurant
I've
ever
had
dinner.
Mind
you:
I'm
not
fast
to
complain
at
all.
I
was
expecting
much
better
though
and
was
looking
forward
to
this.
If
this
is
traditional
Toscane
speciality,
it's
the
last
time
ever
I
tried.
