This is a good hotel with a decent breakfast (we booked a room with breakfast). It wasn't an expensive option, and its location is really good. It's very close to the Prato train station, so easy to get tp Florence by train. It is also possible to walk to Prato center as well, the walk is nice and short. The hotel is old fashioned. The rooms are quite small (we booked a room bigger than the minimal one). The equipment is reasonably maintained, everything works - but all looks old, don't expect the modern look. The reception desk is 24/7. People are polite and helpful. The hotel is listed as "Free parking" on Booking and Agoda sites, but it's not that easy to get. We arrived on Saturday evening, and were told that we can park till Monday 8 AM for free on the street, but have to pay for the tickets from 8 AM (parking garage is 10 Eur per night). Only after we complained that the property is listed as "free parking", the reception person guided us to park within the yellow lines in front of the hotel (there was a space there). It doesn't seem appropriate that we need to argue to get the free parking as being advertised. The breakfast is good. Nothing extraordinary, but good and tasty, with multiple options. Overall, the stay was good.

I was very happy at Art Hotel Milano, thanks to your professionalism. The room and bathroom were clean, with a beautiful view. Staff were friendly and professional. Great breakfast. 24-hour reception makes a real, positive difference, from many other places. This is a proper hotel.

Good location, close to train station to travel florence in 20min. Nice, calm area. Room was a little bit dirty.

Nice hotel in Prato at walking distance from the main square of the city, Piazza Mercatale. Rooms are not too wide but they offer everything is needed. Generous continental breakfast. Fair prices.

This hotel is decent. It is just 5mins away from the train station so if you’re planning on visiting Florence on a budget, this is the plan. The rooms are a bit outdated, with a bathroom that isn’t lit enough at night. The aircon works well. We had a balcony with view on the river so it was nice, a small table with chairs on the balcony would be a nice addition. For the price, I recommend.

The hotel is very close to the Prato Centrale station and it's in a nice spot. The rooms are OK. The bathrooms are OK, but the shower cabinet is very small (<1m2). I'm 1.89m and I couldn't turn without hitting a wall. There was a lot of mold as well, but the hotel was also having a lot of work being done, so maybe this could improve. The breakfast was serviceable, nothing to write home about.

I spent 5 nights at the hotel and I really liked my stay. Even before my arrival, the hotel team was very attentive to my request to stay at the specific room which I like very much. The room was clean and cozy, as well as the bathroom, the bed was comfortable and I had a spectacular view from my window! The included buffet breakfast was very good to me - variety of dishes for breakfast and everything was delicious. The hotel management was friendly and very helpful with all my questions and they kindly helped me to book a taxi to Florence airport as I had an early morning flight. So, everything was great and I will definitely stay at the hotel again when I come to Prato :)

In the middle of winter they didn't have heavy blankets and the cleaning in the room was insufficient.

It's a basic hotel with basic amenities. Serves a good continental breakfast? Nut no lunch or dinner. More of an inconvenience than a problem since it forces you to visit nearby restraunts which serve some delicious food and local wine! Rooms are very basic however are clean.

Stayed as a guest after my airline cancelled my plane. Room was comfortable, and relatively quiet costarring the proximity to the road (not silent though). Decent facilities, decent breakfast, location a little way outside Prato, but manageable. Does feel more Luke the kind of place to go for business trips than a holiday, but guess it depends on your transport.

Overall, a good experience. However, the experience on the first night was less than satisfactory. With the AC not functioning, it was impossible to sleep in the room. When I tried a few times to call to request for a fan, the front desk stopped responding to the telephone. This is unacceptable as there could have been an emergency leading to some terrible consequences. Otherwise, the staff was extremely friendly on the rest of the days, & the services on the hotel were good. It was good of the hotel to offer a small discount for the inconvenience of the first night. The proximity to the rail station & the city centre is also very convenient.

The hotel's good location: everything is close to Prato. Very kind receptionist. Parking is free in Prato throughout August. 😊

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel apart from two aspects: first, my single room had air conditioning (room 503) but it was old and noisy and I had to move the bed every night in order to lie under the cooler air. Secondly, the bathroom had an air extractor that was very noisy and did not work. There was a constant smell of sewage. What was good about the hotel: it’s situation, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was very good. Pity I had a bad room ...although it had a wonderful view over the river.

The hotel was great. Although I had a single room, this was quite spacious and was facing the river and mountains, so nice view! The room itself was always cleaned very well. Minor negative point, air-conditioning can only be regulated among 3 levels of intensity, rather than choosing a specific temperature.
