This place is one of the worst hotels- if you want to call it that, I've ever had to stay in. Only stayed here being in a group tour, otherwise I would have slept outside in the cold on the concrete and saved money- that's how it is in comparison. Mouldy bathroom's, walls covered with plaster dust, bed's like concrete pillars, no air conditioning. There is only 2 powerpoints in the room, pillows are dead and need replacing, customer service isn't a option- staff weren't interested in helping or fixing anything. Avoid this place at any costs- just sleep in your car in the carpark next door which is an industrial area and save money.

It was nice, but I had to change rooms because the AC in my original room didn't work so it was really hot. The hotel itself is right next to a giant shopping center, but it's also a good 2 hours away from downtown Florence (by bus + train). The hotel breakfast had a lot of food options, and they had a vending machine in the lobby for drinks and snacks. The staff were really really nice too.

Rooms are clean. But full of mosquitos, there is no screen window etc. No mini-bar, at lest you can put a bottle of water in the rooms as matter of courtesy in this hot summer! No, you can buy it for 3 euros at front desk! Crew are kind and helpful. Far from city center but the only good thing is that its close to a nice big shopping mall.

    1. Our room was okay l, but it smelled to smoke, we really hate that. 2. The staff was nice and friendly. 3. If you want to visit Florence this location is very difficult to reach by public transportation. 4. Our car window was broken just in front of the main door of the hotel. Apparently you have to ask for the private parking, otherwise they don’t offer it (it is not part of the checkin speech) and then you will end robed in front of the door, as it happened to us. Honestly, it was the worst experience ever! So good luck if you stay there.

The Ibis Florence Prato boasts a fantastic location right next to a shopping mall, making it convenient for all shopping enthusiasts. The service staff was hospitable and accommodating, assisting us when needed. However, the rooms could use some maintenance - our initial room had issues with the AC and a worn-out toilet. Thankfully, the staff was swift to help us change rooms. Another big plus is the ample free parking space they provide, with an additional smaller, secure parking option available for a fee. Despite some minor setbacks, the experience was good and worth the price paid.

Just need to be careful while booking this hotel, I had to wait 40 mins at the Pratigone station for taxi, taxi to main city center cost around 50 Euros per trip from the hotel, otherwise the hotel ambience is good

It's far away from Florence and besides taxi, the only way to get here is to take bus line 'CF' from Vittorio Veneto in Florence. The bus ride is about half an hour. If you want to tour Florence, this hotel is not a good option. The rooms were good. Clean. No frills. No body lotion/kettle/ bathroom slippers. It was quiet and I slept like a baby. The staff at reception spoke enough English. There is a shopping mall closeby named "Giggli" and you can eat at the food court there.

The front desk staff and bar staff is lovely. The hotel is a bit far from the closest train station toward Florence(25-30 minute walk) but there is a big shopping mall nearby and a few nice shops and restaurants along San Quiruco. I recommend the Asmana Spa nearby - well worth it! Mr. Wu in the shopping center also has amazing Xiao Long Bao and bubble tea. The hotel itself is clean and quiet. There’s no kettle or microwave in the room, but the staff downstairs was happy to warm stuff up for us and provide hot water. My major complaint is that housekeeping comes around at 7-9 AM in the morning and is very very loud. We were not able to sleep in at all during our stay.

Fantastic service from the staff.👏 👌 I highly recommend hiring a car as public transport is a bit of a mission if you're planning to visit a few places that need you to travel a distance. Otherwise pre-plan your routes before you arrive and you won't have a problem.

    - Very good service - Super friendly and helpful people (compliments) - Good bed - Good parking space! Point for improvement: - The rooms where not clean at all (dust on the walls and under the bed). The shower didn’t work properly (show head mechanism was broken) - Breakfast was (compared to other IBIS hotels) very minimal and you (constantly) had to ask for bread or something else. And even when food was provided, it was again so minimal that you have to ask again (penny wise pound foolish). Minimal continental breakfast

Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. It's a little far outside Florence, but overall a good place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice and big room, cleaned every day. Free parking right in front of the place. Breakfast with many options of what to choose. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Just 30 min to city center by car. Many good restaurants nearby. WiFi was working good enough. Bathrooms were good. There was only one standard EU power socket so don't forget your adapters.

The hotel is far from Florence. If someone doesn't have a car the transportation is quite difficult.

Very comfy rooms, with efficient and kind staff who perfectly understood our needs and went all the way to exceed our expectationd (for example, they offered us free coffee to compensate for us waiting for our room, and some faulty room cards - they also offered free secured parking the last day). This Ibis hotel also has a nice little garden where it is great to have breakfast, coffee or beer at the end of the day. The i Gigli Mall nearby (walking distance) is a gem and a blessing. we shopped there over and over, and had numerous (inexpensive) dinners when we came back exhausted from our visits. This Ibis hotel is also located near Prato and other places of interest (in addition to Firenze, of course) and only 15 min drive from the airport and car rental places, so we were very happy of this additional level of convenience. On the slight downside, the hotel is located in a suburban area with no charm, and the room view (of the Mall parking, or the road) is not the most romantic. But at the end of the day, the convenience and proximity of the Mall and transportation roads as well as airport made up for this slight downside. We highly recommend this hotel (as a family of 4 who spent 6 nights there)

We slept for one night (2 people, online booking and city tax paid at check in, 77.40 euro). Very nice and professional receptionist (Francesca). Continental breakfast is 9 euro/each one, but we didn’t get breakfast because we had to go away. Hotel and room are very clean and comfortable; only thing to is bed blanket too short. There is the elevator. Bathroom has no window but has the fan. It’s not a relaxing place to sleep like on the mountain because there are passage of cars but it’s in a strategic position between Florence and Prato for work or travel. If you are looking for romantic or relaxing place look to other places. In front of “Centro commerciale I Gigli” with a lot of places get food and “Multiplex cinema” (less than 5 minutes walking). Closed to “Florence airport” (12 km with car). Park of car: a lot. Park of bike: a lot.

At this very good price, cannot expect more. Conditions are very good compared to many other accommodations that take twice as much money and offer NADA. I stayed 2 nights at the hotel because I went to visit Florence. Every afternoon I spent time in the hotel's terrace and it was very relaxing. Staff was very very nice, at least the ones that I met. It was a great visit. Thank you

I recommend the hotel. It looks like a New building. The crew is polite and i can see some of them speak different languages. Location is also a very good one - a big Shopping Centre is very close. A good connection with a bus line which Will drive you to Florence.
