One of the oldest Chinese restaurant of Doon which brings a wiff of nostalgia ..Countdown stood the tests of time ..inspite of big names and new fancy fine dine restaurants which have mushroomed , countdown still remains one of the favorites..The food is yum , prices are pocket friendly and portions sizes are generous which makes it an invincible gladiator ..The buzzing coolers , Chinese artifacts and lithographs and no fuss seating makes it a downtown Countdown..Must visit , especially for lunch Whip up the nostalgia Prashant Kala

One of the oldest ones in dehradun. The prices and portions are unbelievable. Best value for money restaurant I'm dehradun. Easily reachable as well. Doesn't look flashy but the food is good. Nothing very fancy, it's quite cheap and affordable.

The taste of this place is number 1. No matter where you are from you will like the food. Their Pizzas are The Best Pizza of all Dehradun. I used to go here with my family when I was little. Now I went here almost after a decade the taste is still authentic and savoury. Service is fast, they only take a couple of minutes to bring your order on the table. The price for the quality and quantity of the food is very affordable. Must visit the place. I"'ll surely come again. Birthday Parties Or any kind of party you will get a stomach full of tasty food.

Roadside parking available. Quick service. Nice and clean restaurant. Food was also good but they do not accept cards so make sure to carry cash or online payment. 👍🏻

Countdown Restaurant holds a special place in my heart, having been a cherished part of my life for over two decades. The consistency is remarkable, not just in the flavors but also in the friendly faces that have been serving smiles for as long as I can remember. The staff, mostly unchanged since my childhood visits, adds an extra layer of warmth to the dining experience. Speaking of the food, it's a testament to the culinary excellence that the taste has remained unaltered over the years. The red chilli chutney and vinegar-soaked green chillies remain a constant, ensuring that every meal is a flavorful homage. Every bite brings forth a flood of memories, transporting me back to simpler times. A shout-out to Countdown for keeping the essence of Dehra Dun alive! #CountdownMemories #CulinaryConsistency

Countdown is the oldest restaurant in Dehradun. Started way back in the eighties. It started with one room and it has added 2 more rooms. I remember when I started visiting this place in 2005 with my besties…. One of my favourite places to enjoy with friends and family. I loved the pizza, soup, and momos. Biryani and spring rolls are equally good. And I also love their sumptuous Mutton burger. It was served with fries and plenty of cheese on it. The price is also quite reasonable, but the best dish I love over there is "American Choupsy." Every time I visit this place, I always order American Choupsy. Must try dish…. The best Chinese and fast food restaurant till date. I have always loved this place. They keep it simple and focus on food. Keep it up, countdown.

Great place to hangout with family and friends, the best part is the taste is same as it was 10, 15 or 20 years ago. Felt nostalgic sitting there, only thing that I missed the most today was Kenny G's piece on the stereo system.

The ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality, resulting in dishes that are bursting with flavor. The presentation of the food is also impeccable, with each dish looking like a work of art. The service is top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and inviting, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. I urge you to make a reservation and experience the culinary delights that this restaurant has to offer. You will not be disappointed

Countdown has not changed much since the last 20 years I ve been visiting ! It has the same old vibes with specialty in Chinese food. They now offer a variety of items to include chowmine, american chopsy, momos, pizzas, burgers, Indian menu and beverages. How it has survived the onslaught of thousands of restaurants in Dehradun should be a case study in itself. It still holds firm and has its loyal customers thronging to get a bite at their favourite restaurant. Service is fast and good! Parking may be a issue especially for four wheelers. Lack of AC may be an issue during summers.

One of the oldest restaurants in Doon. Seating is minimum basic required. Parking for two wheelers. If u r lucky then u may find space for parking, 2-3 small cars can fit with some two wheelers. Rates are best for the location. Food is satisfactory. Staff is courteous. Mostly popular for Chinese food.

It's an OK place. The menu might look a bit pricey, but their portions are quite generous. Keep that in mind because the mountain of noodles that i had was a lot, it was tasty as well.

A lovely place to have Chinese food. Thus place opened in 1984and since then there have been changed but the sign board remains the same for a very long time. The Best part is that the quantity is more than sufficient and there is a large variety of Chinese menu both veg and non-veg.Even the fresh lime water is very well prepared. If in dehradun and want a quick service a must visit place.

Cozy ambience... Have heard that their food taste the same as it was in the beginning... For me it was quite sumptuous... They serve good quantity of food on nominal charges...

I have been visiting this place since my childhood and nothing has changed a bit. The ambience is still the same with some music going on in the background and one should definitely try the Mix veg Pizza and the chicken noodles. Dried Chilly chicken, Lung Fung soup is also good and should be tried.I would say that the quantity is too much and that the restaurant should look into changing the ingredients and taste a bit in Fried rice.
