This natural park can offer you a great opportunity to have a deep contact with the nature in different ways! Here you can enjoy a lot of caves with different styles and difficulties, hiking all day long over different directions, even the river in a calm place become a natural pool. For entrance, you should pay a small fee (20 Brazilian Reais, approximately 4 dollars - Sep 2022), and you can free parking in the entrance area. Important: to access the caves, you need hire an official guide from this region to go together to you and/or your group

A very nice natural park with a lot of caves that are a good attraction. To visit the park and walk the trails in the forest, you must to pay a guide, that they call a monitor... is a person who knows the trails and the caves like they own palm. There are stories about people who got lost in the forest and inside the caves and fatally dying alone. That's why is not allowed to walk inside the Forrest and caves alone. But there is a trail that you can walk for a whole day into the forest, visiting caves, falls and river... 9km total, after that you can eat pastel and relax sleeping in some hostel or pousada.

During college I´ve been there for camping and trekking, a little bit tiring but extremely beautiful caves, really suggest guides, and a lot of care, the waterfalls are awesome too

One of my favorite experiences in Brazil! You have to get a local guide and it is definitely necessary, haha. Underground (freezing) rivers and waterfalls, steep climbs, priceless experiences.

This virtually unknown park is full of amazing caves, beautiful sceneries, and warm rivers.

The caves here are phenomenal and merit more foreign visitors. Some of the caves are huge, others smaller. One is actually a tunnel exiting elsewhere from where there is a lovely 2km trek back. You need to hire an accredited guide beforehand to go with you, or else you will be turned away (as I saw with another car when we arrived). And believe me - you need a guide for your own safety as the caves extend hundreds of meters inside and you'd be in complete darkness if it were not for the guide's knowledge and our helmet torches (supplied by the guide tour agency). My guide was great, Luis from Monotours, with whom I spoke Portuguese. I also used my mobile/cell phone flashlight to better illuminate the stones we often stepped or scrambled over.

Amazing natural park (caves and tracks) with professional and knowledgable guides. A deep and safe adventure that requires not much of physical strength.

It is a beautiful place. However, one has to have a guide, they tend to serve you primitive attractions (like listening to music in cave) and enforce a number of regulations that neither increase safety nor pleasure (like crossing the river wearing shoes and walking later in wet shoes). Really unpleasent experience. I recommend finding another park to explore Mata Arlantica.

Park is breathtaking, astonishingly lush and magical. Hardly find words to describe it! More than 300 caves and waterfalls are everywhere, people are also really friendly. No doubt it is a international travelers hotspot!

(Translated by Google) This place is too amazing. I've been twice (3 and 5 days) and I intend to go back. The caves are indescribable, excellent cost. The detail is the lack of options for meals (dinner) in the city of Iporanga. Better to include it in your accommodation, or check if you can eat there ... Good. Even this point, does not prevent my desire to return!

(Translated by Google) Magnificent place intense contact with the Atlantic Forest, unforgettable experience in visitations in the caves, but what helped our trip become really fantastic, was staying at the Pousada da Serra Petar, who received us with great affection, impeccable, clean and very well organized, breakfast and fabulous dinners, note 1000, and also tours with the Primates Company in particular the guide Fernando who made our experience in the caves and waterfalls unforgettable. (Translated by Google) 5 stars for those who like adventures and visits to the world of caves, the adventure starts on the unpaved road that gives access to the core of the caves (many) and trails with low and high difficulties, well-trained and experienced guides, nature totally preserved however , when I visited there was no restaurant inside the nucleus / support, just in a neighboring neighborhood.

(Translated by Google) Without subtitle. You have to know. It's just incredible. Many caves. Very interesting speleological formations. I think it is unknown by many Brazilians, which is not new, like other parks. Lots of nature. Challenges and fears to be faced and overcome. Touristic structure may disappoint some, but for those who like rusticity it is a good place. Guides are needed in most visits, in addition to filling this experience with more details. Too bad the cave with the huge entrance is still closed. And as a complement making the buoy cross is a lot of fun, but make sure you know how to swim well and that you will have some bruises. Krskrs. (Original) Sem legenda. Tem que conhecer. É simplesmente incrível. Muitas cavernas. Muita natureza. Desafios e medos a serem enfrentados e vencidos. Krskrs.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful place, there are several attractions for those who love nature. To enter the Park and have access to the caves you have to pay a value of 16 reais per person, children under 12 and over 60 are exempt, students pay half price. To visit the caves you have to pay a guide, it costs 400 reais for a group of 8 people but the guide stays all day and takes you to know the other attractions such as a buoy cross, waterfalls, natural pool and trails. In the buoy cross you need to rent the buoy and the vest, which is around R $ 25 per person, to enter the cave you have to rent a helmet that costs R $ 15 per person. Everything is very beautiful and clean. It is very worth it, the prices are not the most affordable but it is an incredible and unforgettable experience. To eat a fast food I recommend Sabor e Arte, a simple but very tasty place, they sell snacks and ice cream, the owner (Seu Geno) is an excellent environmental monitor (guide), knows all the places and is very fun. Anyway, it's worth it! Enfim, vale a pena!

(Translated by Google) What place! A paradise for nature lovers in the countryside of SP. There are many options for walks, many caves and waterfalls. The trails are quiet, but most of them are done in the water, so go prepared to get wet. Reserve at least 3 days to enjoy the charm of this park. The city still does not have much structure to receive tourists, but it has good accommodation options, many with full board, which is the best alternative since the city lacks restaurants. (Original) Que lugar!
