My wife and I have been here twice and we plan on going here for many more years to come. The owners here are great. Chuck goes above and beyond every time and has the kindest soul.

I've been staying here for years now and absolutely no place in maine can compare. Chuck and his family are some of the best people on earth and the place is clean and very well maintained. The atv riding from the lodge is definitely the best in the state of Maine.

I don't write many reviews, when I do it's because the service or product was spectacular. The Katahdin Lodge is in my opinion, exactly what a snowmobile lodge should be. It's warm, clean, relaxed, great food etc...and it's full of other snowmobilers that at the end of the day want to relax, hang out and exchange their stories of the day. We had a great time, meet great people and enjoyed an excellent host... We will definitely be back...

From the minute we got there for our snowmobile trip it was outstanding. The cleanliness, food, hospitality was second to nobody. The owner played the piano for us at night and he was spectacular. They even offered to drive me to the hospital after I banged my arm up from riding. We will be back there soon.

This is an older lodge that Is meticulously Clean. The owners are awesome people! This is my second stay here and I will be back again!

Very comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Everything you need for a stay in a location with not a lot of options. The host is extremely nice and helpful. There are rooms with private baths. The room I chose used a shared bath, but there are 2 available and the host refreshed the bathroom by the time I returned. Stay here if you are in need of lodging in the area!

This place......... is the most hospitable place I've ever stayed! Clean, friendly, personable and social staff. They make your supper homemade, serve you like your in an expensive restaurant and cleanup after you with a sincere appreciation for doing it. The owner built a cozy little fire for us and another guest, then sat and talked with us about all the cool things around here and far away. By far the most amazing place I've ever stayed yet. Best of all, there's value here, the most affordable place I've ever stayed yet. Like you'll spend more at days inn. Try this place you won't be disappointed.

I stayed there for 14 days of work. The place is really confortable, clean and well maintained. Water is so pure that you wash yourself into spring water. The food is just perfect too. We had the chance of getting fresh vegetables from their garden. The staff are the kindest persons I've ever met. They really raise the bar in customer service. So, this is the best place to stay in the northern Maine
