Absolutely had the best summer weekend at Mount Chase Lodge in Maine! We stayed at the South Branch room as recommended by Lindsay, and we couldn’t be happier. I was initially worried about going off the grid in an unfamiliar place. We are city people, and the room had everything we needed to feel comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking leisurely in the pond. Not to mention, the food and service were impeccable. Thank you so much to Mike, Lindsay, Lexi, Kelley, and the team at Mount Chase Lodge for making our stay so memorable!

Very accommodating and made me feel welcome as soon as I got there. Loved the decor and the room was very comfortable. Had planned to eat out not realizing it's not exactly the kind of area where you can just run up the road to get something so decided to enjoy a meal for dinner which was delicious! Not being from the area or having known anyone who stayed there before I did not expect it to be so off the beaten path but I can see why it is as the location was just beautiful and the view of night sky was spectacular. I've never seen that many stars in my life! Would highly recommend. :-)

Hi Mike and Lindsay, My daughter and I loved your place and the calming ambience you have created. Your location in close proximity to Baxter State Park (less then 30 mins) is really convenient for those planning activities in Baxter. Your to-go breakfast muffins were great (before our early morning hike) and your sit-down breakfast was also very nicely. We missed out on dinner at the lodge due to getting back from the hike late, but plan on another visit where dinner will be part of it. We stayed in the Pamola Suite and it was nice, the only suggest I would offer is maybe a window box fan (when needed) for days/nights that get a bit warm. Thank you again and we’ll be sure to stay again. Jim & Sarah Delaware

We decided to go to Maine and do some snowmobiling. We are so glad to have found Mt. Chase Lodge! Family owned, friendly and welcoming. We started each morning with a hearty breakfast and ended each day with a delicious 3 course home cooked meal. Easy access to well groomed trails with the convenience of fuel nearby . We had such a great time and look forward to our next visit.

Great room overlooking Shin Pond. We were able to enjoy the loons calling . We had great conversations with other guests. The food was a pleasure.

Not too many place where you can sit in front of the fireplace, drink good beer, and eat an AMAZING prime rib dinner (of yeah, - chocolate mousse for dessert) in northern Maine in March. You guys are killing it! Keep up the great work and hope you have a banner 2023 season. We will see you again soon!

Love Mt. Chase. Been riding up here and staying at Mt. Chase for the last eight years. Mike, Lindsay & their staff just go above and beyond to make your stay a great one. The food….Well, that is awesome too. Trails are right there and they are in great shape. Looking forward to our stay in February.

I went with a scout group before a Maine High Adventure trip. Everything was great from making the reservation to being right on the pond, where our scouts were able to take out kayaks and relax after a long drive. They even had breakfast of blueberry pancakes early for us so we could be at MHA on time. A very nice place. Lindsay and Mike were friendly and accommodating.
