Nice place for lunch after visiting the zoo. The seafood options were good 👍🏼 my fav was the cod. The steak sandwich was also good. Leave space for desert, I liked the carrot cake the most

This is the second time we've been at Monroe's. The food was just as delicious as it was the first time. I love the atmosphere and the servers are so nice. The dessert tray is irresistible!

This is actually one of the nicer places in Kingwood. It turned out to be a little bit smaller and a little bit more casual than I expected. I got a steak, baked Potato and Salad that was good but not great. Another in my party got the crab cakes that were only fair. They only had bottled beer and no draft beer, which was a little bit of a bummer. Overall it was a good experience and good meal and I would return again. Visited Hovatter’s Zoo with our kids and twin granddaughters. Passed Monroe’s on the way to the zoo and stopped in for dinner after. The food was great, service exceptional and prices were very fair. Recommend Monroe’s, for sure!

Even when they're slammed and short-staffed, they serve the best food! The spinach and artichoke dip is my favorite! Keep up the great work!

Parking is iffy but nice local eatery.

Great place for lunch, and the deserts are so good! Enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderful, friendly service! Would love to go back for more great everything.
