I visited Merseyside Collectors Centre today with a variety of silver items to sell. All the staff were very friendly and the proprietor Peter was very helpful. I turned up unannounced and was welcomed , given lots of information and within a short time I had sold the silver. I was given a fair price and also given advice about other items I have. Having no experience of selling silver Peter made me feel re assured and confident in his expertise. Thank you Peter

We visited today and got the best price locally for selling some jewellery and gold. Also had some excellent work done on a ring at a very reasonable price. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Genuinely nice and honest people.

Excellent quick service, I highly recommend. I was looking to sell some investment fine silver bullion and Peter at Merseyside Collectors Centre gave me a great price and payment was in my bank account the same afternoon. I had already valued the items I was selling, at a high street jeweler, who had offered to buy them. Decided to take them to the Collectors Centre hoping for a better offer. An absolute pleasure dealing with this company. A dealt with a gentleman called Peter, he was extremely professional and very knowledgeable concerning antiques (my visit was concerning medals my late father had left me). I felt very reassured knowing I could trust Peter when dealing with him. The company have a vast array of beautiful medals, coins, vintage collectible cars, jewellery and modelling kits amongst other antiques. If you do want to deal with a professional experienced well established company when dealing with antiques then this company is without a doubt one of the best out there.

Polite friendly staff , great sense of humour & banter make you feel at ease .knowledge of their trade n advice given brill, great price for scrap of gold chain given, my husband had a bracelet made there 14- 15 + years ago with oddments of gold he'd collected, only just getting bit worn has never taken it off during manual work etc so they are going to mend it so he can carry on wearing for many more years ,fantastic service . We have over the years taken old broken gold/ silver jewellery always get a fair price ,we have recommended family & friends to do the same & buy hobby items. Peter is an absolute legend and helps me find my coins on a weekly basis. I’m an 11 year old lad that has a passion for collecting rare coins and Peter is super helpful, incredibly knowledgeable and is never too busy to help me. Even though I know I don’t spend as much as some people, he is purely focussed on the customer experience. The shop is like an Aladdin’s cave and I am so happy my dad introduced me to it. Absolutely top class service. Took some jewellery in and was talked through each piece, explaining to us what could be sold and what couldn't. Was offered a FANTASTIC price which I don't believe we would of got anywhere else. They also sell some fantastic items. A real gem in Birkenhead market. Called on a Saturday to sell a number of collectable coins. Shop was busy but the Pete's were very accommodating, helping me get the coins from car to shop and giving advise on my inherited collection. Went away happy with the deal struck and payment was swiftly transferred to my bank account. Won't hesitate to go back and would recommend.

I took my cousin’s medals and a photograph of him to Merseyside Collection Centre about 10 days before Christmas and asked if they could mount the medals and photo into a frame. They couldn’t guarantee it would be ready for Christmas. 3 days before Christmas I received a call to say the frame was ready for collection. My cousin who is very unwell was delighted as was I. He can now see his medals every day hanging on the wall instead of them just being in boxes. The quality and the design of the frame is incredible. I have sold some unwanted gold a few times here and they give you a good price better then anywhere else. Always use them to sell scrap gold. Jewellery is reasonable price too. Definitely recommend them.

What a great shop with very empathetic, experienced and knowledgeable skilled jeweller (Keith). Melted my wedding ring and placed some of my wife's ashes in and remade my wedding ring to an excellent standard. Thank you Keith this means so much to me. I would highly recommend this shop to all.

Over the years we and our family have sold gold and jewellery and had many items made out of our gold here. The staff are really nice and helpful. Keith is an outstanding jewellery maker I can’t give him enough recommendations. I can’t wear rings anymore so he has made 2 beautiful pendants out of my wedding and engagement rings and a bracelet and also for my husband, our son and his future wife their wedding rings out of various items of our gold and some are many years old with so much sentimental value so my parents can live on. The guys here are welcoming, professional and talented. They helped me with great advice on my uncle’s medals, then arranged and mounted them with his cap badge in a beautiful frame. The job was difficult because I was out of the country for several months, but they kept at it and produced a wonderful result. I am really happy with their work. Fantastic experience, all the staff were super helpful and kind. My wife needed her engagement ring and wedding band resized and polished, Keith has done a fantastic job 👏 wife is super happy with how they turned out. Engagement ring in particular was a difficult job due to shape and stone locations but end result was amazing. First time customer here, but will definitely go back next time. Strongly recommend. He also managed to get the work done within a couple of hours.
