I honestly loved my stay here, the staff just made it really worthit. The location is extremely ideal for business purposes, next to awesome amenities and excellent restaurants. It's worth all 5 stars, will mist certainly be going back pretty soon

It was lovely. The event was great, the arena was clean and well ventilated. Restrooms were kept clean. Our stay was even better. Loved everything about our stay, expect the hot water - it ran out so quick that two mornings I had a lukewarm shower. But either than that, it's a great place, will DEFINITELY go back there. The service was amazing, the food was great.... Oh and the casino was a vibe too

I always enjoy myself @Time Square Casino. There are lots of things to do from gambling, concerts, hotel and many restaurants to choose from. Plenty of parking. ATMs on site. The Casino is a walking distance to Menlyn Maine centre for those who need other shops such as Clicks, spar etc.

This site used to be top notch but it needs sincere help since re-opening post Covid lockdown. The hotel arrival was marred by access being blocked due to an arena gathering. The room was up to par but it's unfortunate room service must be applied to pre-authorized credit (which I was not informed of at check-in). The Prive dealing staff need to match their client service up to the waitress staff therein which was phenomenal. Time will tell but this site needs to jack up its game if it hopes to survive & thrive! #facts

Got to the gate, paid for the parking. Got ripped at the ATM for conversion and fee on top of that. Then went in got drinks and moved on to the cashiers for a visitors playing cars. Then they charge you for a visitor card. The cashier asks for an ID. We give her our Texas driver's license. She won't accept it? Wants a passport only? Will not be back! Save your money and move on. Couldn't be bothered that foreigners keep their valuables (passports included) locked away due to the high crime. No signs anywhere stating you must have a passport or South African ID to play.

We went to the Time Square Theatre to see Bryan Adams. 3rd time we've been to a show here and it was great as always. Plenty of staff on hand to direct you and clean toilets.

They have the best buffet lunch and dinner at Tatso restaurant. Time square casino has luxury hotels and restaurants inside, with the best customer services. Sometimes they offer casino players free food and beverage, depending on the occasion. All in all, it has the best roof top view of Pretoria and the surrounding area.

A real feast of machines and tables for entertainment and for serious gamblers. The variety is awesome. There is some type of machine for everyone's tastes. They also have incentives, competitions and attractions. The atmosphere is great. Security is great. There are fewer technicians on the floor and maybe they can look at this area to put more people on the floor to assist clients. There are many options such as smoking and non smoking machines. Time is of the essence if you really want to enjoy yourself, you should allow plenty time to experiment with different machines and find the ones that appeal to you the most. All in all it is an exciting visit filled with entertainment, fun and anticipation. Will definitely support them again and again!

Have not stayed there yet. Sometimes wait long at the bar waiting to be helped even though its not busy. While playing blackjack had one very rude dealer and when they switched had one awesome guy making it a lot of fun.

I was with my two daughters as we companied the older to watch Westlife. So me and my younger girl we went to eat at one of the restaurant. (buffet).reasonable prices as it was special offer because of concert.chef told us.and the food was taste.the casino I think is the biggest around Gauteng. I enjoyed❤

If I could give 0 stars, I would. What a absolutely utter disappointing experience. We have never felt so unwelcome in our entire lives. You pay top bucks to be treated like garbage at this place. We couldn’t even get as far as to check into our room that we booked and paid for. The reception staff at the hotel did not even acknowledge our existence. I would not recommend this pathetic excuse of an establishment to ANYONE!! And we will not return ever again! Sun Arena - this has left an extremely bitter taste

Went to 2023 “Afrikaans is Groot” show and was again really impressed with how they manage flow of people and vehicles. Overall great experience!

Quite a frequent visitor, Used to be such a nice and accessable place to burn a couple of hours and a couple of bucks at the tables, but the Hustlers and Loiterers are getting ABSOLUTELY OUT OF HAND NOW! Everyone sees how intrusive they are towards customers and no-one(staff) does anything! I cant figure out if the casino hire them or what the play is, but the staff and dealers definitly know these people and collude with them, the last 3 times i visited, i left before i was done because i just could not stand the loitering anymore, people touching your chips, sitting almost on top of you, leaning against your chair, asking for chips, begging for smokes, asking for a drink and even asking for a sip of my own drink! Absolutely crazy! And its always the same faces! Beware! I actually cant believe this is not mentioned more in these reviews as everyone complains about it while visiting!

Not great for young families.. feels a bit claustrophobic as the bulk of the place is for casinos and the layout to get to the restaurants is one narrow hallway or up escaltors. The retuarants on the top floor are nice as there is open areas.. the kids games room is tiny..

I always enjoy going to the Casino but lately the machines are very tight looks like im on a losing streak dont think its the cold maybe my luck wil change and all the other gamblers

Earnestly... I was a bit disappointed. I'm not a gambler but casino's are generally nice because they have lots of alternative entertainment for the whole family. Time Square however just felt a bit boring. Perhaps it's a gamblers paradise. The service was great, security tight and staff friendly but it just misses something.

Went for a concert. Very well organized. Great facilities. All staff we dealt with were very friendly and knowledgeable.

My wife and I booked the weekend to play in the sunbet poker tour events. This was my first time at timesquare but I expected it to be a Maslow hotel, it was not. The front desk was understaffed , for a month end weekend hosting an event. We had an issue with our aircon on Friday night and went down to report it on Saturday morning.Palesa was answering calls and dealing with guests on her own . After 20min waiting we were able to report our issue . I reported it again around 4pm when it was clear nobody had been up to the room . When we got back to the room at 10pm still no change .our room temp was set at 26 during a heat wave in GP. We checked out at 4am on Sunday morning we just couldn't handle the heat

My friend gifted us tickets to see David Gray. It was a wonderful experience and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going there.

Not impressed this year. Very little activities for the kids. The magic company was so tiny with very limited games. The old magic company was much better. It's great for couples, but not for kids. They were extremely bored. Also the place was not very festive this year. Not much decorations or lights.

Christmas lunch was nice with a variety of dishes however they need to revisit the way bookings are made. The lady responsible takes so long to respond and when u call they tell you to email this lady. If my daughter did not go the day before we would be turned away.

Maintenance on the machines were done and the blower they used was extremely noisey. Furthermore the music is pathetic and also to loud. Realy not enjoying the outing

It's a very nice and clean place. There is plenty of parking space. However, inside, the machines malfunctioned and the service was slow but I am glad I went. I did not come back disappointed. The food was amazing and everything is affordable for my tight budget which is what I liked.

Pretty casino. Issues are the following though: 1 - Despite numerous attempts to optout of their constant barrage of SMSes, I still get bombarded with the promotional messaging. I feel this is highly unethical, especially when gambling is involved. 2 - When asking for directions or assistance, you'll usually get a 'that side'. This is applicable at all sides. 3 - Although there are multiple security cameras, they are there to protect the casino, and not the customers.

The barman aren't always the most keen to help and they never tell you about the specials when you swipe your membership card. This place would be perfect otherwise

Bonuses seem to have a high variance. Machines mostly well taken care of. Lots of new machines and old favorites. Very professional floor team. Management could do better and so can restaurants/service providers

We were using the facilities to shoot a production and man, the staff was BRILLIANT! From the security guard greeting and sanitizing our hands to the chefs and cooks and the gentleman named Kyle... The desserts... MY GOODNESS!!! it was a lovely visit!

Hotel is OK. Staff are a mixed bunch some are friendly and great others act like they wish you were not there. The hotel needs a lot of maintenance despite being relatively new. Definitely it a 5 star by any means.

Food at ocean basket was delicious! The casino was spot clean and all covid 19 measures in place..nice experience

I would strongly recommend that any hard working person to seriously reconsider going to Times Square Casino, they will definitely loose all their hard earned salaries by gambling, no winners, only loosers. Go enjoy all if wanted to treat yourself & family to variety of choices to sample in food quarters & restaurants, they are worth you wasting/paying for value.

An acceptable experience but nothing that stood out which is a shame considering there are so many other similar establishments that out perform in all aspects. My best experience believe it or not was with security. People make a business.

Extremely noisy, some wit6a microphone just loving his own voice. Everyone playing at the tables were complaining, can't talk a word to each other.

I visited this place for a concert and while the concert was out of this world the general set up and staff preparedness was sadly not. It was chaos.

Great atmosphere but in the events side there is not enough catering. Resulting in people missing the shows. The casino is bull as the pay outs are not what others are and the staff as miserable. The cleaning staff look you up and down then you want to use the bathrooms because they need to clean "first". The only people that upheld some sense of friendliness were the staff at the exit when u drove out.

Very big casino with over two floors of machines and tables to play. Has a smoking area that they make sure doesn't get full of thick air. Staff is always friendly

I like going to casinos. I have been to every casino in this country, and I have been to casinos on three different continents. This casino has the worst win rate I have ever experienced. I still go to this one because of the convenience - close proximity to my home - but I go with no expectation whatsoever to win any kind of money. Throwing money away aside, the restaurants are fantastic, the sweet shop has the a good selection of imported candy and there is ample parking. I rather would go hit Montecasino if you want to gamble, but if you want a good meal or a martini - you should give it a try.

I only have an opinion about the safety. We do feel unsafe. Be aware!!! At the gambling tables people take your chips it happend at two separate occasions. One person is observing at one table from behind and signals to a friend which is playing in between tables when to take chips when you leave your seat for the bathroom or talk to others at the table. Warning don’t engage with any stranger. Do not trust any person. Very sad to say this. There has to be more Police or armed security it is not safe at night.
