What a gem! Absolutely worth the drive for freshly baked bread, pies, frozen dishes, pastries, biscuits and rusks. (About halfway between Benoni and Bapsfontein) The chocolate cake deserves a special mention - it is delectable. The pizza slices are also very tasty. The owner/manager and staff members were very accommodating and helpful. The place has a lovely welcoming vibe. We just didn't want to leave!

Such a cool surprise, looks pretty basic from the outside, but inside its a little treasure trove of food, bits n bobs, lovely pies and other lovely 'boere" foods and snacks. Nice food in restaurant, well worth a visit, super friendly staff and management also great!

The pies are the best I have ever had!!πŸ˜‹ We get them pretty regularly for take away. Everyone is very friendly and the farmhouse look reigns. They have many baked goods, jams and a section with cute house decor. I love all the cats❀️

Owner managed. Clean layout. Safe parking. Conveniently close to the main roads. Nice wide selection available and some nice authentic items. Great drinks and good quality coffee. Nice goat's milk products. Great stop to experience the market or just local hospitality.

Great little Padstal... all you need for a quick bite. All kinds of Jams, Pies, Home made bread... (some items are quite pricey, inside the shop) It's a cosy place, for Breakfast, or Lunch... Gardens, are overgrown and not well kept, but the leaves are falling off the trees, now.

This was such a lovely find. It's a beautiful homely little spot just off the R51. On the RHS coming from the R50, keep an eye open for the sign. On a Saturday the shop is open until 15h00, full of hand made and homemade treasures, but the restaurant / kitchen closes at 14h00, so get there early for the full experience. Their speciality chicken livers and pap is well worth trying, and the custard slices and chocolate cake desserts are both delicious. The little shop is a treasure trove of painted rocks, jars, preserves, cookies, rusks, soaps, and novelty containers. Happy cats frequent all the sunny spots and it's pet friendly! Bijoux is definitely coming with me next time to visit.

Small home style padstal with awesome goodies and freshly baked bread in the shop. Outdoor area is like an Alice in wonderland style with old things and chickens walking around. Food was good, coffee not as nice as I ecpected old styl moer koffie. Overall experience ok for an outing on a cold day.

We had a bad experience visiting Broodblik during Christmas holidays... people were loud and children were screaming.. when our food arrived, we had no cheese with our fresh bread.. when we asked the waiter, he replied the supplier is closed today.. he did not mention it at the time of ordering. They can surely upgrade on a variety of Jam, as the mixed fruit jam is all they have to offer in the last 3 years I've visited them. No, not for me.

A nice relaxing garden. The ideal place for a light meal or cup of coffee. Friendly staff with great food. Freshly baked bread and a variety of preserves are a few of the things that are on sale here.

The best boere brood, available in different sizes. Enjoyed the breakfast and the coffee very much. The garden is beautiful and has lots of interesting and unique features. Will definitely visit again and again.

One of those out of town but close enough places one has to visit. Not a fast chain franchised restaurant. Go for a relaxing sit down breakfast and buy fresh baked items afterwards

Seemed like a nice place. But staff, especially kitchen staff not wearing masks is a BIG NO! Come on people - Covid!
