My experience at Skin Renewal has been absolutely fantastic, thanks to Helen. My skin has improved so much that I look like a different person to when I started, and I look forward to each appointment because of Helen’s warm, bubbly and helpful personality. She always works with such care, and love and I am so grateful for my skin to have been placed in her more than capable hands. My acne and scars have completely vanished, my pigmentation is barely visible (becoming lighter with every appointment), and my confidence levels have improved immensely.

I have an ingrown hair problem which leaves me with dark marks/spots all over my legs. I went for my 1st laser session, while sticking to my treatment plan. I have had blemishes on my skin since I was a child. I have been scared to address it. I made an appointment to see Dr Lestonn and I have never experience such incredible service in any industry. Best, professional, helpful and friendly team ever. Dr Pierce is outstanding and I enjoyed every session with him. He thoroughly explains and walks through the journey with you. I don’t think I’d have done so well without his motivation and explanation of things. The nurse was extremely helpful as well. Everyone takes time to be there every step of the way. After I switched contraceptives and from the first time I tanned on a hot day I got dark spots over my cheeks and forehead. I was then plagued by the most horrific hormonal melasma that ruined almost a decade of my young life. It covered most my face. It affected my confidence terribly. I tried pretty much every product for hyperpigmentation and melasma on my own and then I saw two dermatologists at Fourways life and spent a small fortune on various products recommended by them with no results. The ladies at the counter are really friendly and I like dealing with them. I saw Dr Nadira (Bhamjee I think it is), and she has a great demeanour and is very knowledgeable. She recommended the package with the meseoestetic dermamelan peel. It was horrifically expensive but worth every. single. cent. Read that part again. Every cent. I went lobster red, peeled quite a lot, like a horror movie but i expected worse. For the for the first week or two I thought it wasn’t worth it but Dr Nadira told me I must wait and at around the one month mark I would feel differently. She was completely right. The dark marks that I’d began to get so used to started to melt away, or should I say flake away because my skin was raining little flakes like it was snowing. My skin went to near perfect and I no longer needed any base or concealer. You carry on using the maintenance cream and it keeps it perfect. I ran out for just over a month and the melasma came right back but I do believe it is from the pill which I hadn’t stopped. We will see as time goes by if it returns once I stop it. In the meantime I’m so grateful to have a procedure and product that gets rid of it and Doctor that led me to it. If only I had found them sooner. I will post pics. The internet needs to see what I went through and why I can’t recommend the branch, Doctor and procedure enough. Just be prepared to pay if you had anything as bad as mine.
