I recently attended a semi-final cricket match viewing at Hennie’s Moreleta Park, expecting an enjoyable atmosphere for such an important game. However, the experience was significantly impacted by poor event management, particularly the failure to set up the sound system properly. Despite the venue being a popular choice for social gatherings and sports events, the lack of an operational audio setup meant that patrons were unable to listen to the game, diminishing the overall experience. Effective event coordination is essential, especially for high-profile sporting events, where audio commentary enhances engagement. Unfortunately, the management did not seem prepared to address the issue, and no immediate solution was offered. For a venue that prides itself on providing an enjoyable environment for sports enthusiasts, this was a disappointing oversight. I hope management takes this feedback into account and improves their setup for future events to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for patrons.

We as a family decided to give Hennies Moreleta Park a try for the first time yesterday. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The two salads we ordered seemed fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, a few hours later, both my husband and I experienced upset stomachs and were unwell throughout the evening. This was disappointing, as we had high hopes for a great overall experience. I kindly urge management to make sure the staff prioritize hygiene and ensure that proper sanitary practices are maintained at all times. Customers trust that the food they’re served is prepared in a clean and safe environment. While we enjoyed the initial experience, we sadly won’t be returning due to this unfortunate incident.

Freaking love this place. The atmosphere, the people. It's just a really great place to go day or night and my kids love it.

I wish I could say our visit to Hennie’s was enjoyable, but unfortunately, it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. We were excited for a meal after watching Ireland beat England in rugby, but that excitement quickly faded when cockroaches crawled out of the bar counter just as our food arrived. To their credit, our waiter provided really good service—attentive, friendly, and patient throughout the evening. After a lot of back-and-forth discussion with the staff, we were finally offered a complimentary Guinness, likely because my date is Irish and we had just watched the match. While the gesture was appreciated, it hardly made up for the unsettling experience of seeing roaches where we were about to eat. Needless to say, we won’t be back. If cleanliness and hygiene matter to you, I’d strongly advise looking elsewhere. The managers seem helpless.

Clean and well laid out. Service is really good and quick. Bathrooms are clean and staff are friendly.

The Cheese Louise burger is SO good!! If you like cheesy burgers, I would highly recommend trying this. Service is very good, drinks are very good, everything is good. Lekker plek.

Excellent food and great service. Possibly the best jalapeño poppers we've had, not made by us at home 🤪 Green Goddess sauce that comes with them is something unique and truly tasty. Loaded fries are EXCELLENT and everything on our platter was great. Will definitely return 😊
