Food was terrible. Ordered the full chicken, it was not nice at all. My wife ordered the mountain of prawns. Prawns not fresh, had an off smell. Our waiter only spoke zulu to my wife and despite my best attempts and multiple times informing him I only speak English he simply refused, yet upon our arrival he greeted departing dinners in English. Really expected much more as we have dinned here a few years ago.

Great food at reasonable prices, and a huge selection of regular as well as daily special menu items. We have visited many times, mostly for the excellent sushi, which is always freshly prepared and very tasty. Among other specials, the restaurant offers a daily special on sushi, with all items half price before 17h00. The special lasts all day on Thursdays. Not being a sushi fan (my wife and daughter take care of that department), I have enjoyed various dishes, mostly in the steak line. My steaks have always been cooked to the desired level (I like medium rare) and well presented. The drinks menu is also large, with a wide variety of alcoholic as well as non alcoholic options. The wine list is particularly good, snd they serve craft beer (Jack Black) on tap. Seating is available inside (two levels) as well as on an outside deck area. There is a kids' play area directly opposite the restaurant, making it quite family friendly. This restaurant is situated in the Woodlands mall in Pretoria East, and is easily accessible from most major routes. It is well worth a visit.

Great atmosphere, great food. Waiters need to improve on their customer service. They don't pay attention to customers and are always standing together talking. They're not visible enough, especially the upper floor.

Very nice place and very good specials. Its really value for money. The food is great with a good amount on the plate. The only thing I would recommend is new cutlery, especially the knife for the stake. Was really hard to cut with the stake knifes and it was all of us on the table that had steak. Otherwise I would really recommend this place

Visit 1: Sushi was ok.. tasted dry and old Visit 2: curry was really good - although it was obvious it had stood in the kitchen for some time because of a film forming on the sauce. Sadly service was extremely slow and lacking, we had to call random waiters over a few times just to clear the table. The Restaurant was not that busy.

If you’re looking for a quiet and intimate place around woodlands and surrounding areas with chilled vibes then this is the place for you. Caters for both smaller and larger groups(would imagine larger groups would have to Call in). The place was beautiful, friendly staff, clean and kid friendly with a play area just outside. However they only had Hake from a menu that had quite a few fish on the list which was a bummer, but the waiter explained that they struggled with suppliers. The chef, my soul outdid themselves I just had to forgive them for not having a variety of fish especially the one I throughly enjoy. Thank you I enjoyed my lunch, lovely lovely restaurant

Our family came here to try something new. The service was pretty horrible. When we made a reservation I got kind of excited because they told me what our servers name would be, I've never had that before. But once we got there we had three different servers ask us in the first 5 minutes if they could of take our drink order. It went downhill after that. We had to flag someone down just about every time we needed something (like silverware and serviettes since we didn't have any). Our appetizer, the rainbow sushi sandwich, took 40 min to arrive and didn't have tuna in it as advertised and was pictured on the menu. Food was okay overall. The milkshakes were the highlight for the kids. My wife's medium rare tomahawk steak was cooked correctly and she enjoyed it. My chicken curry was okay, very mild. I wouldn't order if you like spicy. My daughter chicken jalapeno burger was smothered with so much sauce that she had to scape it all off but the bun was soaked so she couldn't pick it up. We were disappointed overall, were really hoping for a new go-to spot. This was not it for us.
