A very nice place. Good choice of wine and very decent choice of appetizers. One of the best Tiramisu I have ever got and chocolate foundante was also delicious. Service was very good.

The most amazing dining experience with quality food and a selection of good wine. We had the hot and cold appitizers which was a great food sensory experience. The slow cooked beef was delightful. My friends had the chicken which was also lovely. I recommend a visit. We spent 200 euros for 4 of us so a good price too.

Impeccable service, dined down below in the cave and enjoyed the 5 course pasta dish. None of them were red sauce, they all had such unique flavors. We will definitely be back and be sure to bring friends that we want to impress.

Amazing restaurant. The food and presentation was 5 star. Not to mention the wine list. The inside of the restaurant is an old cave. A must try.

The best meal I've eaten in Italy so far. Friendly staff, a wonderful variety of food and the atmosphere is magnificent. The pasta course is worth every penny, the grilled lamb was awesome and while we were way too full to eat the dessert, we cleaned the plate. Worth the effort to find this wonderful place. Came back again in 2023 and it was just as great with the same friendly faces and delicious food.

This place is amazing. High quality food and a good variety of regional wine. Perfect both for families and for couples.

I did go for the pasta tasting menu for €30. I found it well thought through with bold and delicate dishes which I have thoroughly enjoyed. The service was faultless. Overall I recommend this place.

Hewed out of caves, the setting is very romantic and cosy. The menu is locally sourced and the food was very good. Interesting wine list and excellent service. Worth the long and winding roads to get to it

May 2022 - Abruzzo! After a good dose of local beauty and culture, on the advice of the manager of the B&B where we are staying, we go to the this restaurant in Guardiagrele in the province of Chieti. We would soon find out that the tip we got was as remarkable as the restaurant is. I choose a tasting that allows me to fully understand the flavors proposed by chef Franco Spadaccini and I am satisfied with delicious dishes that combine the flavors of the territory proposed in an intriguing form. We want to accompany the dishes with a wine from those lands and therefore we choose a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC in the elegant and organic version "Sciatò Vigna di Caprafico" by Tommaso Masciantonio, also a producer of EVO oil. We had a wonderful experience and the desire to come back to Abruzzo! Small note on the name of the wine which plays on the pronunciation of the French word Chateau and which indicates the origin of the grapes from the eastern slope of the Maiella near the area where the castle of Caprafico once stood.

The restaurant is usually closed in the afternoon. But today was a special day as I had to play a concert in the evening. Oh my.. this must be one of the best meals I ever had.

Wir waren zwei Mal in der Grotta dei Raselli essen - das Degustations-Menü war wirklich sehr lecker, die verschiedenen kalten und warmen Antipasti sind auf jeden Fall ein sicherer Tipp, am besten hat mir im aktuellen Menü aber die Pasta mit ragu bianco vom Lamm geschmeckt. Top auch das Semifredo mit Pistazien als Nachtisch. Am nächsten Abend dann eine Empfehlung des Tages: Kaninchen, sehr lecker gefüllt, und als Primi Chitarra mit Steinpilzen. Als Dessert gab es anschließend Aprikosen mit Ricotta-Creme, super präsentiert. Im Grunde war jeder einzelner Teller topp, dazu ein freundlicher Service, vor allem Danilo, und eine tolle Weinkarte. Klare Empfehlung :-)
