So, at the state fair I looked at a shed that was on display and it looked pretty nice. I ended up getting a flyer and calling the Tough Sheds number listed. Pretty nice guy took my order. We talked a bunch about how I wanted to get my riding lawn mower out of the garage, so he upsold me to reenforced flooring and double doors to accomodate the riding lawn mower. I also got lifetime shingles, etc. The total bill was over $4,000. Maybe a bit more than I would have expected, but I figured I was getting a big nice shed. The install day was actually great until the very end, when there was no ramp. I inquired why, and they said I needed to order a ramp. So, I call Tough Sheds and talk to a couple people eventually talking to the guy who called to confirm the order prior to install. I told them I was upset. Basically, I was made to feel like an idiot for not ordering a ramp. Then, they charge me $400 more for the ramp, which was full price. No one ever said sorry or even acknowledged that maybe someone other than me did anything wrong. They said they would hopefully get to it that week, but it was not an install, so it wasn't high priority. Smirk. Now, that $400 ramp was for a full ramp to cover the entire entrance to the shed, which included 6 board sections and was stated on the additional invoice. They never let me know what day or time they were coming for the ramp install, so I wasn't home. My mom was and they checked in with her, but left without saying a word. The ramp that was installed had 2 movable sections, so it could only cover a portion of the entrance. I think the idea is that you can space out the 2 boards to drive in and out. Anyway, not what I ordered and paid for. I sent a strongly worded email this time (you know when you get that feeeling you need to have a paper trail) I got an email response from a supervisor. He did apologize, but then gave excuses for everything and informed me that the sales person I talked to was from Home Depot, so they couldn't be help responsible for that portion. He says they will bring and install the ramp I actually paid for and refund me $150. My service has been a definite 1 star, but the shed does seem very nice so I was generous with the 2 stars. I am afraid of what might happen should I ever need to get service for the life time shingles under warranty.

We couldn't be happier!!!! From start to finish Tuff Shed in Savage has been great to work with. The moment we walked in the door we saw the friendly face of Morgan. She had great design suggestions and was efficient at getting our project scheduled. The detailed specs, color, honest feedback and insights for our project from Jon were all things we could have easily overlooked and he made sure everything was covered. The start to our project was great. Sergey Ohkman did a fantastic and very precise installation at our house. He took his time to get the shed assembled perfectly and was very funny and friendly to have conversation with as well. This trio was a pleasure to work with and Tuff Shed is lucky to have them as ambassadors of their brand. I would highly recommend!!

Terrible experience! Ordered in August and was originally told Oct 31st for delivery. We were called 2 days prior and told it would be another 2 weeks (Of course I removed the old shed the day before thinking they were coming!). The day of install (scheduled between 8 and 10) we got a call at 7 am saying they would be there in 10 minutes. They charged an extra $200 to use a few cement blocks to level it out. Then when it is all together they didn’t use the upgraded flooring that we paid for! When we called about the flooring they basically said “Oh well, we’ll give you a refund on the floor”, no I want the floor I paid for! If I had to do it again I would definitely go somewhere else!

We’ve had our shed for a little over a year. Holding up great and these folks were great to work with!

Worked with Jon to design/build a custom 10x14 shed. He knows the product inside and out, and made the process quick and smooth. We wanted a custom roof pitch, metal roofing, unique window and door layout, and I wanted to supply my own paint. None of that was an issue, and Jon took us through the process in about 40 minutes. The Shed was built and installed exactly as scheduled, with Tuff Shed keeping me updated on the build as it progressed. On installation day Vladi and his crew did an exceptional job and left absolutely no trace they had been there. He was a pleasure to work with and gets the build done quickly while paying close attention to detail. We had one piece installed (a window box) which wasn’t to spec and the next day Jon arranged to get it swapped out immediately. Great customer service all around.

Very busy place, making sheds, if you need one this is the place

Purchased a shed a couple years ago and we were told that they would move it to another location in the future as needed. Now when we contacted them to move our shed to our new home a few miles away, we have been told this is a service that is no longer offered. Don’t appreciate liars and very disappointed .

We had a terrific experience with Tuff Shed, and we would highly recommend them! I first became acquainted to Tuff Shed from checking out sheds at the local Home Depot (sheds at Home Depot are made by Tuff Shed), but instead of working with Home Depot on getting a shed, my wife and I chose to go through Tuff Shed directly as we wanted to select various custom options and thought it might be easier this way. Perhaps Home Depot can arrange for the same custom options, I am not sure, but Tuff Shed is located nearby, and it was very convenient to work directly with them. My wife and I worked directly with Jonathan at their main location in Savage. We discussed various options, walked through various shed styles on site, then worked out the design we wanted in fairly short order. Very smooth, and Jonathan was really great to work with. We ended up going with a 12'x'16' Premier Pro Ranch, and are very happy with this choice. Our city requires permits for sheds greater than 200 sq ft, and 12'x16' just meets that requirement. My dad has a 10'x14' shed and advised me to get as big a shed as space and the city would allow, and I would definitely agree with him that the extra sq ft is worth it. This particular shed also has some extra height to it than some other sheds without being too tall, so there are lots of options to put a loft area and or have options to store long items in the rafters, both of which I have done. We first connected up with Jonathan late March, and he quoted an install date last week of May, which happened right on time. We were advised on the preparations we needed to make, the most important for us involving ground prep that the shed would sit on. This amounted to laying 4-6" of class 5 gravel that we compacted using a plate compactor from a local rental equipment shop. We were also advised to ensure the compacted ground was level within 4" to avoid extra work/cost by installers....apparently we did a good job. We watched the installer measure flatness with a large level and when we asked the installer if everything was ok, he smiled, chuckled, and said, "You're good". The install itself took about 1.5 days, and I have to say the installers for our shed were impressive. They worked quickly, but you could easily tell they have installed tons of these sheds, so the install was done very, very well. In summary, from the initial visit, selection and design process, to the completed install, Tuff Shed did a great job! I am very pleased with their work! Thank you Jonathan and crew!

Tuff Shed's are built the right way. Installation crew was Dima and Dima; they did a fantastic job...very meticulous and precise in the installation. Quick, careful and courteous, too. 5 Stars in all respects!

John in sales and David and his crew in install both did a terrific job for us. John did some awesome customization for our shed to make sure it was just what we needed, educating me about good choices for our application. The schedulers were patient with our numerous re-bookings due to weather related pad prep delays. And finally David and his team did our install in nasty 19 degree weather with even worse "feels like" temps. I'm really happy we chose Tuff Shed to provide and install our garden shed. We look forward to many years with this quality product. Can't say enough about how much I recommend this company from start to finish!

Changing my review. Tuff Shed, compare the quality of 3 years ago (yellow shed) to the shed put up last week (9/14/2022). Pictures are worth more than anything I could type in here. They are sending their warranty person out at some point for the roof, but the lack of symmetry to the house is my tough luck. (Red circles are the flags that were there to show them where to put it) Only placed 2 pics of the nails, but there are several all over the shed sticking out like that.

Jon was really helpful selecting our shed. He went through multiple design options and made recommendations to help us accomplish our “vision.” Easy to work with and has a sense of humor.

A bit pushy to sell the shed but they are paid off of commission. They do have really well-built sheds that will last many years. They have a few display sheds on site that you can look at even if they're not open.

Needed a shed for the backyard and stopped into Tuff Shed to see what they were all about. Jon helped in designing and explaining some options that could be useful based on what I was doing. Poor communication and have waited 5 days on call back and still nothing

Communication was terrible. Delivery and ser up issues with sub contractors. Still waiting for un square door to be fixed. My first shed was great. The Savage MN office has been a series of dissappointments.

Totally cool, knowledgeable, and friendly people in the office and warehouse. Huge inventory of paint colors to choose from. Many different varieties in size and styles of high quality sheds available. Check it out!

Tuff sheds are build pretty well but the price are a little steep.
