We had a great lunch here! At this restaurant, we enjoy the breeze and the beautiful harbor scenery. It's so nice to see cruise ships sailing on the ocean. Recommend not only their scenery but also their food. I ordered the lobster noodles; they are so delicious! The texture of the lobster is excellent and tender, with the cheese flavor of the pasta. I would say the overall rating I give this restaurant is highly recommended!

Out of all the restaurants in Grand Cayman this one takes the cake hands down. The staff is super friendly and jovial, the bartender is amazing and even prepared a custom cocktail for me! The food is amazingly fresh and flavorful! Beers are cold, smoker friendly! Wow!!! I wish I could leave this place 10 stars! Prices are so very reasonable and portions are great! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cayman Cabana is a truly lovely restaurant with a spectacular view. The staff was helpful and service was fairly quick. We made them aware that we were in a hurry and they were able to accommodate us, ensuring that our food was served in a timely manner. We enjoyed our food and our time here while visiting the island. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

We stopped for lunch here when we were in port on our Disney cruise. No particular reason we stopped other than it looked local and said had fresh seafood available. We were seated out on their deck with a great view of the sea and our cruise ship. Our daughter was able to watch crabs in the rocks while we wait for our food. Red Snapper was the fresh fish when we were there and that is what I ordered. My wife was going to order the same, but the waitress said that one would be enough for the both of us. I am so glad she told us because one was more than enough for us. The fish was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Our daughter had their fish and chips off of the kids menu and that was delicious as well. It was a great experience for us as this was our first time in George Town. If we ever port here again, we will definetly stop in again.

We had a wonderful farm to table experience at cayman cabana. The owner explained all of the fresh food he, his wife and team prepared for us. He even sat at the table and was personable and talked with everyone. They had lovely carribean live music. Cannot beat the scenery, right in the ocean. The food was amazing and definitely fresh. Everything is served family style. Even though it was only 2 of us…We met some wonderful people we ate with at the table. I booked the reservation by calling but you can also email and they will get back to you pretty quickly. I have to say my husband was wanting to just eat off the menu but after our night he was very happy with my decision. I would however also eat at the restaurant. Just be sure to make dinner reservations. There are large tarpon in the water and some crabs sitting by the rocks, fun to watch.

Only 4 stars because the service was a bit slow, but the food is really good. Worth the wait. Nice view of the ocean and your cruise ship, you can sit at the bar, or at a table, which are located on varying levels of a patio.

Great view of the ocean! Some popular menu items are not available (conch and lobster) and the service took so long (still waiting on his drink) the waitress is dismissive and lack luster at best! Remember your currency exchange rate and they add 18% gratuity automatically weather or not the serviceis good! 1 hr 48 minutes later!!!!!!!! Update.... we never ate! His drink never came! Our ship has to leave... and we're both hangry! Truly disappointed 😞 Don't go here unless you have all day to waste! My 1 drink $17.50 USD with gratuity (Yes the drink in the picture) 👎

You absolutely have to visit this place if are you in the Cayman Islands. We were greeted by Luigi—the owner—who was very gracious and friendly. He helped us many times throughout our visit and was just awesome. The food was also fantastic, everything was totally fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend!

the local fish is much better than the boil seafood , but the dry deep fried red sniper is taste better with the seafood sauce as dipping. the fish has no flavor without any sauce...

Literally the greatest views in Georgetown, Grand Cayman. Excellent jerk chicken and cheeseburger. Lovely locally owned atmosphere by the cruise port. Really good drinks and a great staff. Owner and manager both there keeping things going smooth.

Stopped in on a whim today. Had read about the restaurant and wanted to try for dinner but ran out of them. So glad to have stopped in for lunch. The freshest seafood I ate all week on the island. The blackened snapper dish was perfectly prepared. Served with rice and beans, a side salad and plantains. Highly recommend- beautiful spot on the water in Georgetown. A band was setting up to play live music. A perfect last lunch on the island!

The blackened snapper was fresh-caught and to die for!! The rice was the best I've ever had, and the plantains were sweet and cooked to perfection. Stop here for some phenomenal local cuisine!

This place was the best restaurant we went to in Cayman. We sat Oceanside with incredible service from Sean. Our food was even better - so fresh and delicious! We are going back tomorrow and every time we come to Cayman in the future!

Book a flight just to come here and eat this seafood boil because I can’t even explain what this thing will do to your mouth. So good! Nice patio too with great music. Had to lose a star only because the service was quite bad and we also waited an incredibly long time for our food.

Great experience here! Right by the water and we were here when a cruise ship was not docked. I’m sure when cruise ships are docked, this place will be packed! Walkable from the docks and also to the central downtown and shopping areas. Friendly staff, the food is delicious, and seafood is obviously fresh! Would highly recommend!

Had conch fritters, pork sliders and conch chowder. All items were hot, fresh and good. Nice spot for lunch as we had a 5 hour layover on Grand after a Little Cayman stay.

This is, by far, the best drink and food experience we've had in the Caribbean. And it's mere steps from the cruise port. If you're cruising, this is definitely worth getting off the boat for. Make the short tender in, get out of the port area, turn left, for go maybe half a block. You don't even have to cross a street. Get the Mamasita Margarita, get the daily catch or anything that has the cabana peppa' sauce. Get the conch fritters. Get the mojito. Get the Cabana G&T. Get the Cat 5 Hurricane. Honestly, I think you can get anything. We had food that gets close to this near an all inclusive (though, I can think of only one place), but never near a port. And we've never had drinks that are nearly as good as here. It's not cheap, but port food is usually at least as expensive and not nearly as good.

Beautiful views but expensive. We had 2 appetizers, 2 alcoholic drinks, a piece of cake, a can of sprite and 4 bottled waters and our bill with tip was $110! Service was fine. Not great. Don't think we'd go back.

We had a great dinner with a beautiful view. The fried snapper was a good size and delicious. The oxtails were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fish and chips and the lobster dish were great. We watched the sunset while enjoying a great meal. This is not a pretentious restaurant, just great food with a view.

Location is very nice. Came based upon beautiful food pics on website, but it's just an illusion. Mostly mediocre to poor bar food. We tried 3 items to share. Overcooked/ oversalted burger was dry and crusty--if asked I would have ordered medium rare. Instead got well done. Salad marginal with overseasoned shrimp for 23$ Cayman. Cayman beef was the star, tender and tasty. Service terrible, waitresscame twice and spoke twice but minimally. Woulsmt come back, save your time!

Wonderful textures and homemade flavor. Enjoyed mahi that surprised me with its resemblance to the flavor of braised pork. Also enjoyed fresh-caught snapper and spicy conch fritters. Good service, presentation, and improvisation. Enjoyed and recommended.

Food was quite delicious, and so were our drinks. We were there a Sunday evening and the service, even though very friendly, was a little on the slow side. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves.

Came to this restaurant every year on a cruise and now it is a dump. We waited 15 minutes and no one ever came over to wait on us. The place was empty at noon and it used to be packed. Never coming back!

We came here on Thursday night and we opted for the Farm to Table Family Style Dinner, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation. Each dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients, and you could taste the care and expertise that went into every bite. The flavors were vibrant, the presentation impeccable, and the portion sizes generous, making it an ideal choice for a communal, family-style experience. Every course felt like a celebration of local produce and culinary craftsmanship. What truly elevated our evening, however, was the hospitality. Luigi, the owner, took the time to personally sit with us and share his passion for the food, the restaurant, and the community. His warmth and attentiveness made the evening feel even more special, and his genuine care for his guests was apparent throughout our entire visit. The ambiance at Cayman Cabana is equally noteworthy. The atmosphere is relaxed and charming. It’s the kind of place where you can feel completely at ease while savoring an outstanding meal. My experience here was nothing short of exceptional and was one of the most memorable dining experiences I have ever had. The combination of incredible food, superb service, and a truly welcoming environment made Cayman Cabana an unforgettable gem. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional meal and a remarkable dining experience in Grand Cayman, especially on a Thursday night. Thank you, Luigi, for making our evening so special — we will certainly be back!

We stopped in for lunch while on a cruise. We ordered 3 blackened sandwiches and a chicken plate. The chicken came out quickly but the sandwiches took about 30 minutes. The waiter informed us he put my order in indicating I had shellfish allergies which I do not have nor did I tell him I had any. When the sandwiches finally came out my order was minus fries and replaced with salad that had no dressing. I did not order salad. What? I repeatedly told him I had no allergies! He laughed and after questioning why I had a salad he brought me dressing for something I didn’t order. No, he didn’t ask what kind of dressing I wanted he just brought me what appeared to be mustard based. I don’t care for mustard based dressings. What? I finally just gave up. The actual blackened sandwich had little flavor. I didn’t eat the salad and others at the table shared their fries with me. The bill came to just under $200 USD for a bad meal and 4 drinks. I would so not recommend this restaurant when visiting.

5 Stars - Amazing Experience at Cayman Cabana! We recently stopped by Cayman Cabana while on a Carnival Cruise, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly, fast, and attentive. We ordered the fish and chips along with the lobster tails, and both dishes were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The seafood was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. It was hands down some of the best food we’ve had on our trip. We highly recommend Cayman Cabana for anyone visiting the Grand Caymans! We’ll definitely be back on our next visit.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this restaurant. The service was beyond slow. We sat with empty water glasses for almost 30 minutes. We were one of 3 tables there. The food took even longer. The quality of the food was low outside the fresh fish and everything that was cooked was seasoned well and tasted good. I liked my snapper on my salad and their scotch bonnet hot sauce. It was our first night in Cayman and it was just very uneventful here. The view is beautiful and the place next door seemed to have a more lively environment and even service we could see on their balcony. I asked my group if they would return and they said, “no, of the service and the food wasn’t good enough to suffice coming again.” Our waitress barely smiled and seemed very detached from creating a memorable experience. Very disappointed as it was recommended by a local. :(

Fresh local catch and restaurant is right on the water! Our server was super nice and very welcoming and accommodating. Food did take awhile to arrive. We ordered the conch fritters, catch of the day which was snapper, and the seafood boil. Conch fritters were not to my liking. I felt they were a bit soggy. My mom had the snapper and said it was okay. My dad and I enjoyed the seafood boil. It came with a lot of variety! It even came with some fried bread buns that went well with the sauce of the seafood boil. There are chicken everywhere trying to scavenge for food. Fun to watch but scary when they jump up on the chair next to you and try to share your dish 😂

Made a reservation for the special Farm to Table dinner held on Thursdays. The dinner is served family style, with all of the guests sitting at a large table, and our dinner was hosted by the owner Luigi. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish (there wasn't a single dish that we didn't love). We had such a good time that we went back the next night for their regular dinner menu, which was also great.

We had a great lunch here. The decks are multi-level, so almost every table has a nice water view and is pleasantly shaded. We started with wings, then I splurged on lobster which was surprisingly affordable. Service was terrific--very friendly and helpful.

Came here for lunch, since it was right on the water. Close to fisherman’s boats. Lots of fresh seafood options. We got the conch fritters, which was delicious inside but outside breading seemed stale and chewy. Jerk Chicken platter was flavorful, with yummy rice/beans and plantains. Overall, it was good for what it was but nothing special.

Fun restaurant right on the water! 5 of us went for dinner and spent around 2 hours there. -Conch fritters were 5/5–super meaty and flavorful. -The coronarita was 2/5–essentially lime flavored crushed ice with a Corona dunked in. -Scampi pasta was 5/5, super flavorful and a big portion. -Blackened red snapper was 3.5/5– parts were super seasoned and great, and other parts were over cooked and bland. We got the $70 portion (they had $50, $60, and $70) and thought it would be a little bigger. Next time we would do individual filet portions. -service was 3/5– it was us and one other table there and it took over an hour to get our food out. Waitress took a while to get drinks as well. Super friendly though.

Don't mistake the rating, it's not a 5-star, super elite restaurant. It's 5 stars for what it is, a cozy and relaxing restaurant right on the water with fantastic local food, charm, and service. The conch fritters and garlic shrimp were amazing. I can make a meal out of those appetizers by themselves. It's a 5-minute walk from the port if you're arriving in Georgetown by boat. Ask for Vanessa. She was fantastic.

Food was amazing - I had fish and chips with fresh caught tuna wahoo and a great pain killer adult beverage. Wifey had fish tacos with blackened tuna. Both were amazing but what was better was the service from our bartender and local guide info from owner Luigi. Very personable, friendly and informative. HIGHLY recommend.
