    It’s a fantastic restaurant, and if you want to enjoy seafood and lobster, I highly recommend you come here and try it! I reserved in advance and asked for a window seat. During the golden sunset, the breathtaking scenery is so beautiful! Here, I enjoyed their Lobster Soup, Coco Shrimp, Thermidor, and Fruit Punch. They are all incredibly delicious! Especially their lobster, famous as the name of their restaurant. This is the best restaurant on the island and I would definitely come back!

    Lobster pot had great snapper, and sunset views. The restaurant was a tad bit ran down but overall the experience was good! Watching them feed the fish was a cool experience.

    Chef I want to give 5 stars for your tuna avocado ceviche! It’s amazing and I have tried many around the world! Don’t change your recipe it’s just the perfect balance! Also the way you chop everything in perfect size so it doesn’t not overpower each other (onions peppers and avocado) great job! Also a shout out to Lee who is an amazing host/waiter/!!!

    Came here for dinner recently—got a table on their outdoor back patio overlooking the water. Food was delicious! For starters, the Escargot was delicious, baked in herb garlic butter. For entrees, would recommend the Seafood Penne and Filet Mignon & Lobster Mash Potato! For cocktails, we tried the Cayman Coladas, which was interesting because it had Irish cream and vanilla ice cream in it—mixed feelings on this one.

    Went here on July 22, 2022 with my family of 5 at the culmination of our weeklong adventure in Grand Cayman. What a pleasant surprise! Fine outdoor seafood dining overlooking the harbour. I enjoyed the Cayman Conch Chowder and my family all had the lobster bisque. For dinner I enjoyed the Lobster and Seafood Chiopino and the other 2 adults in our party had the Seafood Penne. The food was outstanding! Would 100% come back here again if we were in Grand Cayman. Fair warning: this place is pricey. We spent US $350 for a family of five for five entrees, five soups, and four glasses of wine. But it was a worthwhile celebration. Special shout-out to Matt, our server. He was very attentive and did an outstanding job. Bravo!

    We went to the restaurant spontaneously on Saturday evening. We have kindly asked for a table for 3 and have been set at one of the best places with sea view. The stuff carried for us very well, the sea food was perfect. We recommend their cocktails named like the hurricanes which damaged the island in the past. It’s not a cheap place - but what is cheap on Cayman? You should know it before. We recommend the restaurant and will be back coming back to George Town.

    We left our meal this morning with nothing left to expect. The service from the staff was super friendly, the quality of the food top notch, and the views of the Caribbean from the outside deck are of course like no other. If you find yourself wanting a superb dining experience, The Lobster Pot will provide that for you easily.

    A must visit place. Unassuming roadside facade , spectacular on inside and ocean front. Food and service was excellent. Everything we sampled was tasty. They offer a side salad instead of fried with your main. I could just enjoy this side salad by itself. Presentation of food was amazing. Staff friendly and happy to suggest items from menu . Our waiter suggested I try the conch bisque in addition to the lobster bisque a we ordered and he was right. Very tasty and not something I'd have tried on my own. They grind the conch with onions and herbs and the soup feels like a flavorful minestrone with ground conch The Philly steak sandwich and the burgers were delish! Burgers were quite substantial. Glad my teenage son and I shared. Definite must visit

    {"0":"Located right on the water at Georgetown, this is a relatively upscale restaurant that has a large indoor and outdoor seating area. The patio is well situated and provide a beautiful view of the ocean. The sunset can be seen on the patio and it certainly is a selling feature of this restaurant. Not only that, however, the food and menu Are particularly exceptional as well. There is ample amounts of fresh ketchup, the day seafood, as well as good Staples and some variations of Indian cuisine as well. They have a relatively extensive wine list which is appreciated. I have to say that the service was also exceptional. The service staff were attentive and polite and cheerful. The presentation of the dishes was also very good, but certainly the taste of the dishes themselves was excellent and there certainly was an ample amount of food on each plate. They do have a nightly event where the tarpon fish on the lower deck can be hand fed, which is a great photo opportunity as well. However overall, this is a beautiful and upscale dine out in Grand Cayman. We certainly will be visiting again.","2":["0","237"]}

    {"0":"Food was good but I did not get what I ordered. I asked after it was delivered and they said sorry I thought you ordered this. Not being overly picky I said it was okay. Then when the bill arrived I was charged for the food I did not order, I was fine with paying for the item order which was over $15+ difference and they automatically do 20% gratuity -so seems like a bait and switch way to raise the tip. Nice views. Decent food. Conch fritters are really good. Service was slow and again not what I ordered.","2":["0","240"]}

    Had a fantastic meal last night served by Hayley, who was great. Sat outside and saw the sun go down. Food was delicious, lobster bisque so tasty with the house favourite of lobster tail, mahi mahi and prawns was gorgeous! Would definitely recommend

    My favorite restaurant on the island. Great food and atmosphere. Also pretty neat for kids since they are able to feed the fish.

    {"0":"My love and I had the most amazing experience at The Lobster Pot! We vacationed on Grand Cayman in September, and while my review is severely delayed, the grand experience is still fresh in my mind!\n\nI have various food restrictions\/allergies, and contacted the restaurant ahead of our vacation. This is the only are where my experience could have been improved, as it took me reaching out a couple of times to get a response from the restaurant. However, once my contact understood the complexity of my restrictions, I was put directly in touch with Chef Kerry Ann. Can I say, she is not only an amazing chef, but such a warm and hospitable woman?! I submitted my list of restrictions, along with my list of safe foods. Chef Kerry Ann focused on my list of can-have foods, and crafted a delightful, safe, delicious, flavorful meal!\n\nMy first course was a ceviche with local fresh catch and freshly made plantain chips. Dinner consisted of another fresh catch of the day, prepared with flavorful white sweet potato mash, vegetable medley, and a coconut cream sauce. Everything tasted so divine!\n\nWe were also placed at a table directly over the water's edge, and in our opinion, was the best view in the house! We chose our dinner time to intentionally fall at sunset, and we were not disappointed! This was our one special dinner out during our stay, and it was a most memorable experience!\n\nWe will definitely be back, whenever we are able to make it to Cayman again!\n\nThanks again, Chef Kerry Ann!","2":["0","198"]}

    {"0":"The view and the atmosphere of this restaurant is very good but the food was just ok. We found the seafood to be bland, especially for the price. The Rum cake dessert was good. We enjoyed watching the tarpon swim while we viewed from our outdoor seats.","2":["0","252"]}

    We came in just before 9 and they close at 10. They told us the kitchen was closing and we needed to decide on mains right away. We had the coconut shrimp (not much coconut flavor at all - basically just fried shrimp); the conch fritters (fine); lobster bisque (good flavor but needed a lot more lobster; grilled snapper (dry and really just not very good) with the lobster mashed potatoes (literally could not find any lobster in that either). Honestly with all of the choices on GCM, I'd pass by this one.

    Great spot. They took us last minute at the end of the night. Shrimp cocktail and marinated conch were our appetizers. Both delicious. I ordered the lobster Thermidore - AMAZING. My partner got the filet with lobster mashed potatoes and that was also delicious and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend.

    {"0":"The service was amazing and the food was exceptional. They were surprised by the large group that came in unexpectedly yet they offered exceptional service with warm smiles. We had the ceviche which was delicious with the sweet mango. We ordered the Cayman Trio and the Seafood Penne. Best food we have had in Grand Cayman so far. Would definitely go back plus the view and atmosphere was spectacular.","2":["0","240"]}

    {"0":"Second visit to this wonderful Restaurant. We were fortunate enough to get a fabulous waterside table and enjoy an amazing sunset and dinner. We had exceptional service by out waiter from Kenya (I am sorry I forget his name) and the seafood and desert were amazing! Must have the calamari! Parking was close and accessible. We will definitely be back!","2":["0","234"]}

    Another fantastic seaside restaurant to watch the sunset, and of course as the name of the restaurant suggests, this restaurant is one of the best on the island for lobster / seafood! The pot, conch chowder, lobster bisque are all must try. Wash it down with their special cocktails. Book in advance for a table with the best view / nearest to the edge / sea. Go around 6:15-6:30pm for the best sunset view. The mosquitos / flies / little flying insects can be annoying especially during rainy seasons, we literally had to keep fighting them off our food constantly which kind of spoiled the evening, ask them to turn the fans on which can help a little. Fish feeding is around 7:30pm.

    Came here in celebration of my 40th birthday with my sister. My meal at The Lobster Pot was my absolute favorite during our stay at The Cayman Islands. The jerk chicken spring rolls, seafood curry, bread pudding and rum cake were *chefs kiss*

    We were here on our honeymoon and both had the lobster bisque and the filet with lobster mash - hands down the best steak I’ve had maybe ever. We actually enjoyed the food and service so much that we visited the Lobster Pot a second time during our stay in Grand Cayman! Forget the stuffy hotel restaurants, this family-owned gem was by far the best food, service, and ambiance that we had during our stay - their waterfront deck was absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for helping to make our vacation a little more special!

    The service was attentive but not intrusive, just the way I like it. The location is right on the water, you can feel the waves underneath you inside the restaurant. The lobster with the grilled shrimp and fish had a really yummy sauce, the rice and peas and plantains were a nice compliment.

    My wide and I are enjoying our second anniversary in the.grand cayman island and we decided to try out the lobster pot. This restaurant is in a very nice location on the water and has very convenient parking across the street. The service was outstanding the waiter was very professional and very explanatory of the island to us. The food that we ordered was very tasty and delicious, the dessert was also very good thank you for the service you gave us and the delicious food

    We went to the lobster Pot for a birthday celebration and was very thrilled. Initially we were outside water front however cayman weather had other plans. The host immediately pivoted and got us seated and the inside was equally as beautiful. My waitress "Brenda " was so attentive and bubbly. The energy was appreciated. The food was phenomenal. Worth every dime especially because we knew we were celebrating

    Very disappointed with the taste and customer services here last night. The lobsters at market price were extremely bland with no flavor. The Cayman Trio was also very bland and lacked any flavors. Seems like they just broil the seafood and serve as is. To make matters worse, I saw an insect crawling on my lobster tail, which was untouched as I only tried the shrimp and fish at first. I called the waiter and showed him the dead bug on my lobster tail and he told me to not worry because it will not poison me and said I should continue to eat my food because they cannot do anything about it since these things happen all the time. I was completely shocked that he did not offer to bring another lobster tail as he was just waiting for me to concede and tell him okay I will eat it but I insisted I would not eat food with a dead bug on it. That was very improper to try to force me to eat it despite this being completely normal to him and shows me how they lack awareness for their customers. Please get your employees properly trained here because he should have immediately went inside to ask the chef to cook up a new lobster tail because that’s all that he had to do to leave a customer satisfied - that is customer service training.
