My husband and I stumbled upon this delightful restaurant as we were in search of a local dining spot before heading back to our cruise ship, and it turned out to be an absolute gem! My husband ordered for the turtle stew, and I had the jerk chicken tacos. The tacos were delicious, but it was the turtle stew that took the cake for both of us. It was so good we wanted to order as much as we could. The prices were reasonable for what was around and the outdoor seating was perfect for the beautiful weather. Highly recommended!

This hidden gem is just a 5 minute walk from the cruise terminal but still relatively unknown to the majority of visitors. They feature great local staples like fried plantain and lobster rolls as well as delicious fish tacos and basic salads. A roll-up door opens to reveal the front counter and the tiny kitchen is nestled tightly just behind that so the style is just one step beyond street food. With its outdoor only seating, its a perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine, get caught up on email (they have free WiFi) and enjoy an authentic island meal. Their coconut cream and key lime pies alone are worth the trip. Get there early because they only make a couple each day and when they're gone theyโ€™re gone.

Get yourself a mango tango and margarita while waiting for your food! We had the jerk chicken and goat curry and it was super delicious. A fun atmosphere to take a break at, plan to come back to try the turtle soup!

Visited this place while in port from a carnival cruise trip. Itโ€™s a small family business, very cute, what I would call a โ€œwhole in the wallโ€. The food was great! I ordered the ox tails and while delicious, the actual tails were very small. The seating is limited, we had to wait for people to leave, but well worth the wait. I really enjoyed all the signs/posters they have hanging all around. Beware that prices in the menu are not converted to US currency. Although there is a sign which explains the same thing.

Yep. Eat here. Don't be in a rush. It is a wonderful cook preparing each meal. Heard the turtle burger is great. Vegetarian option as well. I had plantains... very good. Wi-Fi too.

Great find. Great lobster roll and fish tacos made to order....everything is fresh from the dock across the street. It's located on the south side/ right of the museum.

This is a hole in the wall and I will absolutely go back. My sister has turtle tacos, and swore up a storm reading about how delicious it was. I had the jerk chicken. Spicy, but the layers of flavor were decadent and you could tell it was the family recipe that has been perfected for years. The women running the place were passionate about the food and it came through in every bite. Rum punch was solid too!

Our tour guide Ms. Welcome recommended this nice little place and it was great! We tried the conch fritters and turtle stew, and both were awesome! Good drinks and reasonable prices, too!

Goat Curry was amazing! We also had the Jerk chicken which was also spot on! Food was plentiful and there was plenty of meat. Definitely a great find!

Hole in the wall tacos. Expensive and change 40% gratuity. Conch fritters were pretty good.

Kind and friendly staff. Was allowed a small sample of a dish I was unsure of before ordering. Most restaurants don't offer that.

Ordered off Bento so canโ€™t comment on service or Atmosphere Ordered the Oxtail and was so small, barely any meat and had ZERO gravy or sauce. Not a drop. Tasted old. Rice was mushy. Also gut the fried chicken which was super crispy but it was dry and again no sauce or gravy. Rice was mushy. Coleslaw on both was wilted had no flavour. It was the end of the day so maybe we got what was left but I canโ€™t understand why there was no sauce with the Oxtail. I feel like it was a mistake but I was super disappointed.

Great stop! Worth the food, beer and friendly staff. Highly recommend to swing by for those cruising, delicious food including famous turtle stew. Did not disappoint. Great marketing too, appreciate the effort! Owner has a great story and is very down to earth and nice. Come support local eatery and get a taste of the Caribbean. 5/5

We ordered the taco fish and the fishburger. The food was good, maybe this is not a Michelin-star restaurant, but it was pretty tasty. The owner gave us drinks and food samples, so it was great to try the other positions on the menu. Amiable and cheerful man! It was a pleasure to visit this place!

Tried the turtle burger at the suggestion of our tour guide. Pretty tasty! Everything came out hot and fresh. The place was very busy but we really enjoyed it! Definitely recommended if you want to get away from the tourist traps without having walk an hour.

We stumbled into this place while in port from a cruise ship. The staff was friendly, the beer was cold, and the tacos were AMAZING! My husband ordered the fish tacos, and I had the jerk chicken. Would absolutely go back if we're back on the island.

The owner gave us a sample of the Cayman Turtle, Cayman Curry Goat & Cayman Style Beef. All are delicious. We are on vacation here from our cruise port and this place is in the tourist area yet tucked away. Great price! Glad we stopped here. Highly recommended.

Food is good! Service is great! A little expensive but worth it. Their fresh juice is good as well. WiFi is great! WiFi is much appreciated after being on a cruise and having no access. Thanks for the quick stop! Itโ€™s right behind the museum!

Excellent food and service! The jerk chicken was wonderful and I highly recommend the fish tacos. You will not be disappointed here!

Small and unpretentious, this restaurant offers a relatively (for the Cayman Islands) cheap but delicious meal that comes in good-sized portions. As a tourist I can't truly speak to authenticity, but the jerk chicken was juicy, the spices were plentiful and there was a bit of kick in the promised spiciness. The manager (owner?) is friendly and hospitable and there is wifi. Located in an open space that looks onto a busy intersection and the shoreline, Caribbean Kitchen is the perfect refueling spot as you explore George Town.

Great find right down the street from the port. Great conch fritters, so moist, spicy chicken and wonderful turtle stew. Plus all the funny signs keep you smiling!

Great food and great service; everything well priced. The conch fritters were excellent and all of the meats were just what we would have expected. They gave us a small sample prior to ordering our meals to help us decide. Any questions? Take a walk over and read some of the fun signs! Theyโ€™ll make you smile and then youโ€™ll be ready to eat!

This place is amazing. Thomas was friendly and made recommendations on where to go. He suggested a turtle dish but we were not brave to try it but we think we will next time. We tried the curry chicken and oxtail. The food was delicious. Thank you Thomas.
