My husband and I were on our first cruise when he became terribly ill. We were taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was admitted. The compassion and care they showed not only my husband but me made a terrifying experience barable. The nurses in the Medical Unit were awesome and made sure I was cared for and had somewhere to sleep and that I ate. The security team would even stop me in the halls to ask how my husband was doing. The security team was so sweet that on our last night there, while we waited to be air lifted home to the US, they each signed a Cayman Islands dollar bill and presented it to me as a souvenir! It was so touching. Even the visiting island residents were the friendliest people you could meet. Everyone greeted you as they walked by. Being in a foriegn country with NO ONE was terrifying but if it had to happen I thank God it was here.

I went to have an ultrasound completed, I was in and out in a flash. 😊 Canueth Jones was extremely friendly and professional. I also saw Dr. Sekhar over in the Specialist Clinic, and again it was another wonderful experience. Thanks to HSA.

["I have had mostly good experiences here but for decades this place has had a bafflingly long waiting time. I have had unpleasant experiences with superstitious and inconsiderate nurses here before as well which is confounding to say the least",null,[0,242]]

The wait time is just too long. I had an experience whereby I had to wait in the waiting room for over 3 hours to see a doctor Then had to another 30-40 minute to collect prescriptions. Do better HSA

["When your daughter ingests a suspected poisonous substance a trip to A&E and an overnight stay at Peaditrics is on the schedule. I have to commend the staff for dealing with one irritable mother who at the end of the day took matters into her own hands because she wanted to spend Easter Sunday with the rest of her family and could see her daughter was truly a happy camper after being observed by so many professionals. While the experience for our emergency while on a cruise vacation was great thanks to the stairs taking care of us. But the costumer service from the billing team was more of a brutal bullying and childish Savage behavior. We were ambushed twice trying to get money that we already addressed with them the situation at hands. To the DR,Nurses,EMT team and Pharmacy 5 stars for you all.

["Absolutely unacceptable waiting times at A&E - within one month I had to go there twice - first time because of my own tooth that started hurting a lot - got there around 10 pm, left after 3 hours WITHOUT BEING SEEN..!\nSecond time - with my 5 y\/o son - again, got there before 10 pm due to an intense ear pain - was kept 3.5 hours and had to leave, yet again, WITHOUT BEING SEEN!! Just like the other 7 or 8 patients who were waiting before us..everybody just gave up and left one by one..\nI left in tears, both times, out of frustration and helplesness, hoping we will not have to go back there with a serious issue any time soon because you are made to feel like you or your loved ones' health issues don't matter.",null,[0,218]]

I had to get a therapeutic phlebotomy done this evening and Damien Ferron from the Blood Bank not only stayed late but held my needle the entire time as I have a rare blood disorder. Thx again to Damien.

But today I have been to have an operation and felt compelled to let everyone know what wonderful service I received. Very impressed! ["I had a wonderful experience at HSA Government Hospital during my wife's maternity treatment. The care provided by the midwife was exceptional, ensuring both my wife and baby felt well-taken care of. Despite having to leave them alone overnight, I was reassured by the hospital's attentive staff. Even after discharge, their follow-up calls to check on the health of both the baby and mother demonstrated their commitment to ongoing care. Grateful for the excellent service and caring staff (maternity ward) at HSA Government Hospital.",null,[0,234]]

😠 The telephone operate at this hospital is so disrespectful, i call asking for information and she slam down the phone in my ears, i will never ever take my family back to this hospital , they need to behave better and get good people to work there instead of those bush animals.
