When I took my toddler there I thought they’d make him feel good, not scared. He had a big wound on his neck, the haircut was awful and all because my “child was moving all the time”- they said. The lady was in a hurry to get her next customer and didn’t even try to make the environment friendly so that my kid wouldn’t be so scared. I thought they were professionals but on the contrary! And also all the toys are for buying.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience here. It was our son's first haircut and the person who did it seem to be rushing to be done. She cut a lot of hair behind the ears and then the only way to fix it was to cut more hair. The top part look uneven, and again only way to fix it was to cut more hair. We just decided it to leave his hair like that, instead of keep cutting more. It was a really bad experience for us. We definitely won't be back.

My daughter had her first hair cut with Jessica. We had very good experience with her. She was very nice and professional. My daughter is 20 months old, so she needed some time to relax and get used to the new environment. Jessica gave us this time before the hair cut, so my daughter felt very comfortable the whole time. We weren't rushed at all and everyone was so nice and welcoming. The most important thing- the haircut was made exactly how I have described and wanted. Jessica even made a beautiful hair braid for my daughter and we received a present - hair bow. Thank you for giving us such a positive experience! :)

First time at this location was this past March being our older son's stylist transferred over from the Hawthorn Mall location in Vernon Hills which sadly closed down around the beginning of this year or the end of last year I believe. Emiliya has been cutting our son Robert's hair for over 4 years now. It was maybe his 3rd or 4th cut when she first started cutting his hair and my wife decided to keep her as the sole stylist and now our younger son Daniel who turned a very terrible 2 this past Dec. just had his very first haircut with her as well. The Deerfield location is the closest to our house in Beach Park but it's Emiliya who makes all the difference. Although it's a hike down to Arlington Heights, our boys' haircuts aren't the only reason for the far drive and our favorite Japanese grocery store with a food court is in the same town and Woodfield Mall which is a great time killer isn't much further. The kid-themed salon is a great place for young kids' with all the available amenities but mom and/or dad can get their haircut as well which is pretty cool. Prices seem reasonable considering everything else in this country is going up in price.

Ashley did our son’s first haircut and she was so great!! He did not enjoy the experience as he was scared but she was very patient and thorough.

This place is for kids haircuts. They have toys as well. They have tablet at each table to keep kids busy during haircut. Staff is nice and friendly. They give certificate of first haircut which is pretty cool. Kids love to sit in chairs in car shape.

Got my daughter's hair cut here! The cosmetologist who did her hair was great and made the experience fun for her! We got tinsels put in her hair as well! They lasted 3 months! Will definitely rake my daughter back here. Staff is awesome & friendly

Great experiences with my two year old son who is NOT a fan of haircuts. Even though he was not an easy customer, the stylists never made us feel bad about it.
