So I work here every summer for a week for a day camp and it is so run down and old, it can make for a long week with little kids if it's wet out there at all. Don't think any camp should even be allowed to be held there.

Very sad condition for a great 150 year old place I loved.

Visited there when I was going through a battle in my life. It is peaceful . The people are loving and they prove it by actively listening and praying with you. I entered feeling heavy then left equipped in knowing Jesus is sovereign and knows my battles so he can go before me as I surrender to his will. Hope this is always a beacon of light .

I used to go swimming here was I was little. Im 32 now. I was part of a summer camp, Sunny Kiddies in Wheeling, IL. When it rained we would walk to The Waldorf Tabernacle building where a man would put on a magic show. Wonderful memories!!

When I was growing up for kids, only day camp at the time it was great shape but now so sad to see what happens the pool well taken care of now 😢 hope something will come to work out

Yes, it's old and kind of looks like abandoned place from 150 years ago. This campground is unique and has a spirit of the Lord there. I love coming there to visit my friends, have fellowships, have nice walks around.
