The service I got this year was disappointing to say the least, the person who welcomed me did not have the accurate insurance benefit plan pulled up. I said to her that it didnā€™t look right but her mind was set to accepting what the screen was showing. I asked her to please contact my insurance provider for clarity which she refused 3 times, she even said that they werenā€™t able to accept my VSP insurance all together. Frustrated, as this is the 3rd year I use my benefits at a vision works, I called my insurance provided and gave her a billing code. She put it in and finally it somewhat updated, at the time of billing I opted to get the 1 year supply of Acuvue dailies for astigmatism. She said it would be $1,250 which I responded that it was incorrect. The manager then arrogantly offered to give me a $150 allowance towards that total, as if issuing a credit would be better than following the appropriate steps. This time I had to demand her to call my insurance provider and obtain the correct information, she did and 20 minutes later she came back and input the correct information. All of this could have been avoided if the person who checked me in wouldā€™ve called in the first place, their lack of willingness to help made me feel frustrated and helpless. Clearly, they lack appropriate training standards for their staff and I will be looking for another provider.

Stopped in without an appointment as the right temple of my child's glasses had snapped off. Sherri was extremely polite and knowledgeable and was able to pull an identical pair of frames from the floor and had my son's lenses popped in in about 15 minutes. Only $30 with out co-pay. Couldn't be happier about the service and the quick turnaround. Great people here, highly recommend.

Finally got around to getting new frames and lenses and Darshana and Lisa could not have been more helpful, pleasant and attentive even on a crazy-busy day in the store. Dr. Bunchuk was quick, pleasant, and thorough with my exam. He explained everything. Good work team!

Very poor customer service. Dr. Bunchenk is awesome. But when trying to deal with the clerks out front, thatā€™s where the awesomeness ends. I arrived 15 mins early for my appointment and left after 45 minutes when I noticed that other people were being serviced ahead of me (including walk-ins). Going back to LensCrafters where the service is better and more competent.

My mom had an appointment today, Saturday 10/14/2023 at 3. Woman at front desk had a terrible attitude claiming we had no appointment. I showed her proof we had an appointment and that it wasnā€™t our fault her system wasnā€™t showing that. She said she only had one appointment at 3 and proceeded to show us the customer who was waiting and still had the audacity to say ā€œthis customer did actually book an appointmentā€. I guess booking online on your website and also getting confirmation on your phone isnā€™t really making an appointmentā€¦ she didnā€™t even bother to ask if weā€™d like to reschedule and to top things off she said they closed at 3 today. Which today hours of operation say you close at 6:30. She was just in a hurry to get us out. When we left the office we noticed a handmade sign that said they were closing at 3. You would think theyā€™d have the brain cells to notify their customers when their appointments are going to be canceled beforehand but no rescheduling text was sent until 3:02.. 2 minutes after the BOOKED appointment and at a day and time my mom didnā€™t ask for. Super unprofessional. Whatever was so important to you that you had to close early and give us an attitude, I hope it gets canceled for you, so you can feel what we did when you sat there on your desk being inefficient to customers and lying to them. Corporate has been spoken to and will escalate this issue because they were also unaware of this location closing early. So if you believe you got away with it, you didnā€™t. Donā€™t mess with peoples families.

This was my first time here to get annual eye exam done and get prescription glasses. Everything was great from making an appointment, eye exam and choosing eyeglasses from wide range of selection. At this location staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoyed dealing with Darshana who assisted me choosing prescription glasses. Will definitely recommend this location to others. Thank you guys!

I am very upset and angry at this place and give it two thumbs down. I bought a 300$ pair of glasses and was reassured multiple times that they had a warranty on them through the company for one year. After a couple of months the frame started peeling apart from each other making it impossible to wear. When I brought them in i was told I did NOT have a warranty on them even though it had not been a year. The lady was very rude and treated me poorly and even told me to get out. After leaving I stood outside asking others if they had the same problem for which she then called the cops on me. The officer responded that this is public property and I have every right to be there. Not only does this place have horrible customer service there expensive glasses are made cheap.

Michael took great care of me there. Followup cataract surgery, he popped a lens out of my glasses and put in a non prescription replacement. Great service!

These folks are terrific---so helpful and kind. Great sales and customer service people, great and kind optometrist as well. That's why I've been coming here since early 2019. The sales people are better than ever now, if anything.

Extremely bad Customer service. Especially the technician named Michael, he refused to use scales to measure the center point of the glasses and did it just by looking at the glasses. Also was extremely rude. We ordered 2 glasses for the same person and when asked if both of them will be ready at the same time he said that they are not lenscrafters and they can't have them ready together. Unnecessary rude behavior to annoy customers. Would advice using other stores.

All the staff were amazing. They were helpful and even though they were short staffed they were very thorough and professional yet super attentive. They were able to do what another visionworks in golf mill was not able to (fix my glasses) too. Also, kudos to the three workers that were there on 10/6. The dr, the gentleman, and woman. Amazing teamwork!!

Michael was amazing and so helpful! He made the process very easy and stress free which was great because I had my eyes checked in many years and I was nervous! He also helped me pick out some great glasses that I cannot wait to get!

Ive noticed several bad reviews of this location...As a provider myself I can understand it's difficult for most consumers to understand their insurance. Also, it's usually up to the consumers for them to call their insurance to figure out the problems. It can take a provider up to an hour on the phone or more to solve simple issues. Realistically, there's just not enough time to do this when you have several people in line. I found times in my own office that the patient didn't even know that his insurance had changed and he gave us their old card ... For the person who complained about the "extra charge about the retinal scan". Anytime I've gone they've always been upfront about what the charges for. It's possible that that particular patient had diabetes or a problem previously that they really needed to follow up on the scan. Too often I have found that people hear about " extra charge" and they decline it even though it's medically necessary. An ounce of prevention is worth up pound of cure... Let me tell you Ive had the opposite experience here. The front of the house staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the staff members was observed to be dutifully trying to get a discount for another customer .I noticed them going all out to help other customers as well. The optometrist was experienced and answered all my questions I had on multi focals. When I returned, everyone was very helpful in adjusting my glasses for me.

We have been going to Visionsworks for years. When we moved to this side of town, it was the closer. Not only does it meet the standards of Visionworks, Darshana took very good care of my family and has been very helpful in her recommendations

Visionworks is a very professional and outstanding company in the optometry industry. Not only did the company help me with finding the right number for my glasses, but they were able to do so effortlessly. Darshana especially made me turn into a loyal customer. I was very confused with the process, however she walked me through the steps thoroughly and helped me to understand what to expect. Her professionalism and recommendations led to her gaining my trust as my primary optometrist! I recommend Darshana to anyone who finds the optometry process confusing and wants a guiding angel to sort things out. P.S, the doctor is also very nice(Dr. Bunchuck). He helped me find my perfect prescription!

Friendly and professional service. Michael worked hard to find me a good promotion for my purchase. Bought from here before, and will continue to buy my glasses here. Never disappointed.

Stopped by here to have the string repaired by Sherrie on my glasses last night, and she couldn't have been nicer. She quickly repaired them, for which I am eterally grateful, as they are my only pair, for no charge. Store has a great selection of cute as well as businesslike frames, and I was pleased to overhear another associate working with a little boy and his mom to get him the right frames to fit his face.

My family and I were just at Visionworks for our appointments and Michael was helping us get our frames and lens. He was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciate all his help and understanding.

Said I would look around at glasses while waiting for my eye exam. Started walking towards men's frames (because I usually like the look better) and was informed women's glasses were to my left... Was then told there were still three people in front of me for my exam and that it would take a really long time to get me in. They are unfortunately really short staffed right now but it was just a very bizarre experience. Bummed it didn't work out. Switching to Rosen

Unfortunately had a less than a one start time at this location. First without my consent they did a retinal scan which was an extra charge, and they did the same thing to my husband. When I asked why I was not told about the charge the lady went on and on how I need this scan. Secondly my husband whoā€™s had contacts for over 20 years was told he needed to do a trail for his contacts. He contacts are on back order and after arguing with the staff and doctor to release his contacts they finally agreed to do so after 3 weeks. The one and only bright stop in that place is Michael. He was helpful with teaching me how to put in and take out my contacts and helped to convince the doctor to release my husbands prescription. Michael seems to be the only one at this place who is helpful, kind and knows what he is doing. I donā€™t not recommend this location due to the doctor and other stuff and their incompetency but if you need to hopefully you can work with Michael to make your time a little less stressful.
