I've been coming to this office for the past 16-18 years. Always a great experience until my last visit a few weeks ago. First I called to schedule an appointment in December and I was told the person in charge of appointments was out on break and will return my call. I never received a call back. I called in February again, and I was told my doctor had retired. He had been my doctor for ever. I went ahead an scheduled a visit. Upon my arrival I noticed the entire team was different. I went to the exam room, and the doctor who saw me asked me if this was the first time I was going to wear glasses. I said, I've been wearing glasses since I'm 14 years old. She would have known that, if she bother to open my file. I have a condition that my previous doctor found out during a visit, and since he has always asked about it and any follow ups with the optho-neurologist. This doctor didn't even knew about it, and when I mentioned it I was dismissed fairly quickly. She was very dried, and walked by patients without acknowledge them. My husband experience was the same. They now charge you for services that were provided as a courtesy before. Such as tighten up your glasses. This office has lost it's touch with the new ownership. Like I said, not a great experience.

Definitely would give this place 0 stars if I could. It’s turned to the worst optical with their horrible “professionals” working at the front. Ever since this placed switched to NJ eye center and brought all their “staff” it has been nothing but headaches. They are extremely rude, provide false information and don’t have any type of consideration of patients that have been coming here 10+ years. Definitely won’t come back

Really rude staff. Came in with a script for glasses. The woman insisted my son get an eye exam in which he already had performed. This is why I came in with the script 🤔. It's ok though I found a wonderful place in clifton that had no problem filling his script.

The girl doctor who checked my partner was nice, had no problem with me staying during the exam. We came back for a follow up and because I'm asian, doctor Z didn't let me stay in the same room and walked away from us as fast as possible. Also told my partner that it was fine to return to work despite the corneal abrasion obscuring vision and producing discharge- along with the prescription of eye drops that have to be taken hourly how would they return to work before healing?

Since Dr Zeleznik retired and new owner took over, the practice, and most of all the services are not the same anymore...poor selection of overpriced frames, no returns policy, poor services...time for me and my family to change the eye doctor.

The worst of the worst as far as I am concerned. The optical section are expensive and take for ever to give you your glasses. The doctors are the only thing that was worth my time. My eye exam was 6/18/2020 I paid them $300.00 that is after my insurance pay there part. They screwed up my bifocals and the transition on my glasses. First they screwed up the bifocals then noticed that the transition where messed up as well. Last time I return my glasses was in 11/2020 and they haven’t fix them yet. If I would give them a “ZERO Star I would”!!!!! Will never recommend them at all to anyone. WORST of the WORST!!!!

Absolutely horrible office. The doctor is extremely RUDE and condescending with patients. Doesn’t have patient best interest at heart. Wait times are over an hour. This doctor was incredibly rude to my grandmother who is 90. She will be changing doctors because she left there in tears multiple times . You should be ashamed of yourself Dr.Gollance and stop practicing.

The doctor and staff were very pleasant. I got an appointment within a few days of my call and the wait was very short. The doctor performed all my eye tests in about 30 minutes. The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I recommend them and will be going back here from now on.

All the staff are amazing!! Very cordial and customer service is great , especially if you are lucky enough to get it from the manager ( Maria Navarro). You'll fall in love with her... Unless you're being rude, then you don't want to talk to her. She'll put you in your place right away lol, over all it is a great place to get all you need from your eye doctor, and to shop for your new frames.

My whole family went for our appointments and they seemed nice, the Dr did explain everything. I gave the lady all of our orders. The only one that received their glasses is my daughter. The lady on the phone stated that after 30 days she they get rid of their orders. I told them nothing was said to me. She said well there is nothing I can do. I would have to bring everyone back and wait.

I brought my daughter here last Saturday. Had an amazing experience from the front desk all the way to the doctor. I ended up switching my eye doctor to be seen here. Today’s service, as I was seen in the afternoon was not great. The front desk receptionist, acted like he did not want to be at work. He was very dismissive and genuinely did not seem interested in doing his job. The doctor is still as wonderful as I expected, she took her time to explain what was going on with my eyes. Even gave me some drops to take care of some dryness. Will stay for the Doctor, they should reconsider who comes in to greet their patients.

I brought my kids for glasses last year and they were very good and pleasant so when it was time for my husband and I to get glasses we went there. Everything went well until I got a call to pick up our glasses. I was at work and left early to make sure I got to the office on time. I fought traffic and it took me 15 minutes to find parking but I was happy that I was still early enough before the office closed. When I got there the office was closed. The gate was down and when I got the attention of the woman closing she shook her head signaled that they closed at 5pm and then walked away from me. Their website clearly states the office is open until 6:30pm. If she would have had the courtesy of speaking with me for two minutes I would have told I was just picking up. It would not have taken long to give me my order. I emailed the office explaining what happened and I have not heard back from anyone. I guess this kind of rude behavior is acceptable to this office. I will go back to pick up my order but will not be returning. They have lost our business. There are to many other eyecare places I can go to.

This office has taken care of my family and children for years. Their staff is always accommodating and helpful. Their optician is knowledgeable and always ensures that our glasses are correct and just the way we want them. Dealing with insurance can sometimes be stressful but their staff makes the process easy.
