In the spring of 2022, before the peak season, there were no other visitors to the museum. It's not a big and fancy museum, but the exhibition is adequate.

I loved this museum, it has so many valuable artefacts and fossils! I was mostly amazed with milions and milions old fossils from marine life but also, I was wowed with this huge ship occupying the whole room! If you're staying in Ayia Napa, you should definitely visit this museum!

It was a pleasant experience to visit Thalassa museum. It is a small museum, interesting for both children and adults, with a live-sized reconstructed ship, archeological artifacts and an entire section dedicated to marine flora and fauna: fish, birds, mussels, turtles and tortoises and all types of large seashells.

Great small museum, however no air conditioning when it is 40 degrees outside does not make for a comfortable visit

Lovely museum. Far bigger than it looks, spread over 3 floors there's to see. There some history, art and natural history. Make sure you see all the rooms, it could be easy to overlook the marine life section (which is quite large) as its down a small unassuming set of stairs,

Small museum, not bad an hour will be enough to see everything. Nice to see the fossils, exhibitions about animals and big ship. Go once and you see everything.

The only good with this place is the large variety of the exhibits. A good place to visit with kids. Although we paid full price to enter, there was no air conditioning (during daytime, on July) and the projectors/monitors were not operating. The staff was not particularly hospitable. The building configuration was not very helpful and a map was required to be able to visit all sections. Finally, many exhibits had no explanatory labels. One of them was covered with mold and was falling apart...

Perfect if you're interested in the history of Cyprus! If you're not into history, don't bother coming here.

Very informative museum. Very nice to visit as a tourist. My only wishes are that the signs could have bigger writing and signs that guides you to the different parts of the museum were bigger.

I was very nicely suprised. For outside building look small but inside is nice exibition for 1h. You can see replica of ship in real size from 300 BC. Exibition of sea animals (some of them.are a bit used and need to be repaired) birds, corals a shells. Also there is part aboit geology of cyprus and ancient history. Its not huge but nice.

We found this sea museum interesting. It can stimulate imagination. It was interesting to see local sea animals in their natural sizes, or think about what it takes to create a ship, or learn a bit about the art of archeology.

Worth a visit to find out more about the marine life around Cyprus and learn more about the island from a different perspective.

The museum was ok for the entrance fee. There was limited information about the exhibitions. Also the staff at the reception were not the friendliest which wasn't a great start. One lady sat reading her book and didn't acknowledge us. The other was talking on a mobile phone and served us without talking to us, giving us a leaflet in the wrong language as a result.

VERY interesting museum, if you are in Ayia Napa you should visit! Speaks about the whole history of the island , with artefacts from every period, and, the most impressive ship you will see!
