    Cannot praise enough the food, the atmosphere and the service. located away from the crowds, in a fantastic view, great food and the service from the owner was amazing, don’t hesitate to book! All was made with care from fresh ingredients, It was one of our holiday highlights, we came twice…

    This restaurant is a gem. The staff and chef are friendly, and the food is amazing. We had the Meze which was 19 EUR per person. The food was exceptional. I highly recommend you visit.

    We dined with friends. The location is stunning. The Tavern itself is very clean and well presented. The welcome from the owners was warm and very friendly. The menu is not huge but includes traditional Cypriot dishes. Our meals arrived quickly and mine was the best I have tasted in 8 years living in Cyprus!! Need I say more??

    Had our best meal during our week in Cyprus here! It was very quiet and a bit dark when we arrived early a Tuesday evening. But service was friendly and food was cooked to perfection! We had the vegetarian meze and got to start with a lovely complimentary vegetable soup. Everything served was of very high quality and super tasty. The vegetarian moussaka was a great surprise and one of our favorites. Dessert was simple but delicious! Highly recommended!

    From the greeting when we entered this lovely place to the last moment - everything was just excellent: hospitality, atmosphere, wine, and, first of all - food! It was our first visit but definitely not last. We had a meze, and it was The MEZE! If you want to treat yourselves with delicious authentic yet very artistic home made food - Monastiraki tavern is the right place to go. And a lovely view from the veranda as a bonus).

    We found this smart taverna late in the afternoon after a day wine tasting. The sun had just set and the piece was quiet. Yet, we were welcomed and treated to some superb mezes. We had a free fabulous soup whist we waited for our mezes. Fabulous quality food. The owner was really nice, we would love to come here again and enjoy more wonderful food. Highly recommended.

    This is a must go place if you are in the area. Very charming and beautiful environment, we had the best pork souvlaki here, the chips and tamarasalata (fish roe dip) are freshly homemade.
