When you book 2 nights at a 4-star hotel and you have paid in advance the full rate but one out of the two nights you simply can't sleep because the hotel chose to let its property for a christening or whatever activity to people not staying at the hotel. Shouldn't i know that in advance? At least when i checked in? Maybe they could lower the music at midnight as a courtesy to the hotel guests? Maybe i could at least get a discount as this is simply not a 4-star service? Maybe the owners should have known that this is not the way you attract customers back to your hotel?

No negatives, only positives!!! No limits on the hospitality of the staff, tasty and fresh food every day, big variety of breakfast, lunch and different dinner every night. Very clean hotel, smells nice everywhere into the hotel. Very good location, beautiful pool area!! Will visit again for sure!!!

We are a family of five with two children with nut allergies. Just got back from a week at the Blue Ivy. Absolutely faultless holiday. Very clean and pleasant rooms, ideal location, close to the beach, good food, amazing cocktails. However, the best bit was the staff- they truly cannot do enough for you. They are always smiley, helpful and happy. This is clearly a result of the excellent "leading from the top" that is demonstrated by Nicos, the Manager, who is present every morning and every evening, meeting, greeting and chatting with the guests. It is easy to see why so many guests go back to the Blue Ivy. Nut allergies were not a problem and were dealt with every night directly by the chef. Fantastic place, very highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, very clean and rooms are spacious. The food is great. Very impressed with the lunch time Al a carte menu, which is available between 11am and 6pm. Buffet breakfast very nice and buffet evening meals had plenty of options with a different cuisine each night. All the staff are really friendly and happy to help from the manager to the cleaners. The only down side for me was the fact the main pool is adult only. The kids pool is round the side of the building so you do feel away from things a bit. Overall very impressed with everything else. A great location, only a few minutes walk to the beach and the other way is the main high street with plenty of shops and bars. Would highly recommend.

I don’t normally leave reviews but Blue Ivy is definitely worthy of one! The best holiday I’ve been on. The hotel was absolutely spotless, amazing service from all staff - we never had any issue on our stay, but if we did the staff would do everything they could to help! Everyone was so friendly and welcome. The food was lovely. Amazing central location, you can walk to everything you needed within 5 mins. We can’t wait to return there! Loved every min :)

Best hotel we stayed at in Cyprus. We were planning to move to Cyprus so stayed in multiple Hotels across multiple coasts of Cyprus and Blue Ivy was the stand out winner for us. It's clean throughout, modern rooms, amazing staff and are all incredibly welcoming. We fell in love with this place so much, that since moving here, we still go back there for drinks around the pool and to say hello.

Behavior of service and staff in this hotel should be written in hospitality books as great example. You will feel very welcome here. Even the general manager asks if your stay is great. Everything is very clean and nice. Rooms might be small it at least forces you to go out a see this nice location. All problems are solved literally in minute. Food is great. Every evening there is different food theme. Breakfast buffet is very rich. Beverages are equal to classic hotel offers.

Just come back from this hotel for the 3rd time of going, may 2023. We had the best time again even booked 2 more holidays here, as we love it so much. Every member of staff at this hotel can't do enough for you and are so friendly and helpful This hotel has a lot of repeat returners. We visited the Blue Ivy from 10th to the 17th of May and it was honestly one the of best hotels we've ever stayed in. The location was amazing, centre for the beach and the strip with bars and restaurants. The rooms were modern and had everything we needed. The pool was very relaxing, with good cocktails at the bar. We were bed and breakfast, which was completely suitable for us- however you can upgrade at the hotel if you wish. Breakfast was great and always fresh. We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel a few times - again food was great - would definitely recommend trying the Greek themed night, everything in the buffet was out of this world. We were lucky enough to be there when the hotel celebrated their birthday. The manager Mr Nicos put on a fabulous event and you can really see just how much he appreciates his staff. This translates to how helpful and attentive they are - nothing is a bother. We will most definitely be back for our honeymoon next year. Thank you for a brilliant holiday.

The Blue Ivy hotel provided us with the perfect relaxing getaway. The hotel was super clean throughout. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The food was excellent with one of the best selection of salads I have ever had. Yes Salads! The mains were excellent too. Tryfonos was a incredible host during breakfast and dinner as was his staff. This hotel does things a little differently but does it so well. The hotel is fitted out beautifully but the care and attention by the staff, at all levels, is a different league. They are there to ensure that you feel looked after so that you will keep on coming back time and time again. The food is top flight and the hotel has two swimming pools and is close to the beach. Give this one a try, you will not be disappointed.

Just spent 6 nights at the Blue Ivy and it was absolutely fantastic Very pleasant and attentive staff throughout. Fantastic food and drink Rooms cleaned everyday with evening biscuits delivered to your room daily. Immaculately presented hotel, and reception staff very friendly and knowledgeable for things to do, eat and drink. Adult pool, and children’s pool all immaculately kept clean and tidy and plenty of sun beds to choose from. Afternoon entertainment from musicians. Absolutely fantastic. My partner and I stayed at the Blue Ivy in September for 2 weeks. The hotel is superb, it is clean, comfortable, modern, lovely pool area, one for adults and one for children, towels supplied for pool or beach. The staff are exceptional, polite, helpful and friendly, Nicos the manager was very friendly and loved to talk to many guests asking if everything was good and was there anything they needed.We were only Bed and Breakfast which was excellent, something for everyone, and catered for people with dietary needs, Nicos also gave us a complimentary evening dinner with drinks which was also excellent, great choice of many dishes. All in all a fabulous hotel and holiday .

good location, clean rooms. Russian guests should respect the rules imposed by the government, put on the mask even to go to the bufffet! Friendly stuff. pool bar man has to sweat how to make cocktails, they were just disgusting and i was bad for mixing different types of alcohol

My friend and I have just stayed at this hotel for fourteen days. We could not fault anything.The management, restaurant manager, receptionist, waitresses ,waiters, cleaners, bar staff Just everyone at this hotel are so helpful, will do anything to make your stay comfortable. A wonderful hotel just off the strip Despite the proximity to bars and restaurants it was lovely and quite on night The rooms are relatively basic but the service is exceptional and we felt well looked after throughout our staff. Round the pool staff would bring cold towels and free smoothies and on an evening some free biscuits would be waiting in the room for us when we got back from a night out. The breakfast was always very good which a great choice of hot and cold options

Amazing hotel well located for beach, transport, views we had of the sea where great. Nick the manager so nice he comes round daily to speak to all his guests, the staff are top notch so attentive, nothing too much for them if its not right they get it right. Anastasia so so lovely that she is a angel so helpful, so polite and welcoming. All the staff are a credit to this hotel. We visited The Blue ivy w/c 24 September for a week's holiday. From arriving at reception to going home the staff were exceptional, so friendly, always smiling,chatty, basically attending to your every need. The hotel manger Nico's meet us at breakfast to introduce himself, he runs this hotel to perfection. 👍 The location is great , 200yards from a lovely beach & 100 yards from so many bars & restaurants which are very nice. The hotel is immaculately clean, the pool areas are relaxing with a nice vibe . We stayed on a B&B basis but had lunch around the pool a few days (lovely). I can also recommend a boat trip run by a family in the huts just before the jetty at the beach it's called the yellow boat.👍 Well done to The Blue Ivy, keep up the good work.*****

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Ivy Hotel. The first thing that struck me was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure that my stay was comfortable. The dining options were amazing. The variety of food choices, from breakfast to dinner, left me spoiled for choice. Another standout aspect of my stay was the cleanliness of the rooms. It's evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment. Lastly I was truly touched by the thoughtful gesture of the hotel staff. On the day of my birthday, they surprised me with a delicious birthday cake in my room. It was a delightful and unexpected surprise that added a special touch to my visit. Their attention to detail and dedication to making my stay memorable went above and beyond. It made my birthday celebration even more memorable, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be returning ☺️

It’s not perfect but you’ve got some fantastic staff. Hire a couple more people as bar staff, stock the minibar (as stated online) and look after your current staff, they are very good. Entertainment should be in the bar not the restaurant. Room service menu doesn’t exist either put it in place or remove the text “room service menu can be found in your room”. Great reception and bar staff, really top notch.

Secon visit to The Blue Ivy and about to book our 3rd for 2024. Nothing can be faulted. Absolute perfection. Wonderful kind & caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble, and they always go out of their way to help and accommodate. Rooms are spotless clean as is everywhere in and around the hotel. Restaurant, food all lovely. Faultless! We felt like family! We had an excellent 2 nights stay at Blue Ivy in October 2023. Our first contact was with reservation head, Mrs Christa. A very polite, efficient, happy and understanding woman. She immediately replied to all our concerns regarding accessibility issues and made the booking process really enjoyable. Room was super clean. Food at the hotel restaurant was really nice and tasty. We had the chance to try evening buffet and a la carte menu and both were excellent. In addition, the most important thing to us, was that we felt that personnel treated us with respect and we enjoyed a warm family feeling from all of them. Mrs Crhista, reservations head, Mr Nikos, the hotel manager, Mr Tryfonas, restaurant manager, Mrs Stella housekeeping head, all the personnel, they were always smiling and heartwarming. We also had the chance to meet Mrs Eva, the owner of the hotel, who is also a very kind person. Felt like family! We are revisiting as soon as possible! Just excellent!!!

Our stay has so amazing, I would even dare to describe it as perfect. We were met by the manager, Nichos, and he made us feel so welcome and cared for. I have never been to a hotel where the management have been so considerate and compassionate about there guest. This is really special. The cleaning was so good, and our room was always tidy. The breakfast buffer was amazing, and it had everything you could want. My favorite was the customized omelettes.

Had a really nice stay here. Rooms are stylish and food is quite good. There's a good parking for you rental car. Two pools, one for adults.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were made to feel very welcome from day one of our 2 week holiday. Special mention to Manager Tryfonus. George, Vera and Auste made us feel like one of their family with chat and great service. Little extras during the day that made us feel special. Food amazing and we will definitely be back next year. We stayed in room 230 with a sea view.

One of my favourite hotels, very kind stuff and cool barman, modern and nice design, very close to the beach. We were sorry it closed so early this season. Breakfast buffet could be a bit improved but the coffee was really nice.

Spending vacation at this hotel in August 2021, took two rooms 005 and 007. I want to say that I really liked everything! Rooms at the hotel are clean, new and modern. Bathrooms are in excellent condition and with a complete set of accessories. Upon arrival in our rooms, as a complement, there was a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. Also, by arrival, we were presented with vouchers for free cocktails in the bar. By the way, the water could be filled in bars every day for free. Also, the water has always been provided for free and in the restaurant. I want to say that the kitchen and dishes in the restaurant were very tasty. An English breakfast, various salads, flakes, fruits and many fresh delicious baking were provided for breakfast. For dinner, every evening was a kitchen of different countries (I especially remember italian! It was amazing!). The hotel service is also at a high level and left a good impression. I want to note that good WiFi was in the rooms and throughout the hotel. All we have come across and dealt - everything was fine! Probably the only remark that I could do this that there is not a single mirror in the gym. But it is an absolute trifle compared to many advantages and the merits of this hotel! I can recommend this hotel without any doubt and I would love to return there again!

Just come back, we were in room 128, fantastic hotel. Every breakfast was super and evening meals had a different theme every evening, every meal, fresh and beautifully presented. The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff were so very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A huge thank you to the Manager Nicos and all of his great team. We will definitely be returning next year.

What an amazing hotel, Nikos was an absolute gem and treated our party like his own family. He took time to ensure we were happy and contented with our stay. We loved everything about this hotel. The Blue Ivy is spotless and absolutely wonderful, big shout out to the head of housekeeping. Food and drinks were brilliant with the barman always providing the finest cocktails, cannot wait to be back!

Lovely slightly smaller hotel with more individual attention. Hotel is spotlessly clean and in a great location just of the main strip in Protaras and just 2 minutes from the main beach. Rooms have modern design with little extras like turn down service with biscuits and complimentary drink on arrival and slushy tasters poolside. Great variety at breakfast in lovely setting by the pool. Staff incredibly friendly Great cocktails from the bar.

Superb!! Everything was excellent we were there for a week and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was always very well cleaned the service was great and it was so nice to see that the staff was always smiling and making the guest happy and satisfying their requests. Modern minimal absolutely wonderful. The cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen from the rooms to the outside area. Childrens pool separated from infants wow. Very comfy pools beds easy access to the pool. Excellent Food from breakfast to dinner. Can’t wait to visit again this hotel. Everything was great including the smiling staff that made you feel at home. Just excellent!!!

Location just couldn't be better, 2 mins to the amazing beach 2 mins to the nearby restaurants and bars. Nico (the owner) treated us to a cocktail as we waited for our return transfers, wouldn't take no for an answer, then brought us water for the airport, such a warm and friendly host It goes without saying we will be back soon, thank you for making it such a lovely holiday

Wow, where do I even start. There is not one thing I could complain about the hotel. I read the reviews prior to selecting which hotel I wanted to stay and this had the best reviews. I must say the reviews are 100% legitimate. When I first entered into the hotel, the hotel smelled amazing as they have diffusers everywhere. The place was also clean so I felt reassured with the hygiene. The check in was quick and efficient. When we booked online on q separate website to their own, we thought we purchased a sea room but instead we purchased a sea side (meaning we could only get a partial view of the sea). We spoke to the boss, Niko, and he managed to change our room and find a better view with no extra cost! He was very welcoming and kind and it was the best service I’ve received from all the holiday destinations I’ve been on. Helen escorted my boyfriend and I into two rooms which we could choose from and I took some time to make my decision and I didn’t feel pressured by her to make a quick decision, she was very patient with me. Our first room my boyfriend and I were originally was supposed to stay was 209 but we moved to room 426. The room is very modern and clean. The balcony is nice as you’re able to sit down on the table and chairs provided and get some fresh air. I also really liked how you get to use the safe in the room at no extra cost plus free Wi-Fi. The food was amazing, had a lot a variety. A staff member called Tryfonas was always checking on my boyfriend and I to see if the food was good. The waitresses and waiters were nice, they would come to our table every so often to ask if we needed any drinks or to take our plates. There was a staff member named Chris who always gave the best service when he was around my boyfriend and I. He always said hi whenever he saw us, he took our suitcases and bags to room and dropped then in the shuttle bus when we were leaving and he helped us where to park the car we hired during our stay. The swimming pool is the right temperature, not too warm and not too cold. The bar was cool, I liked how they had variety from cocktails to slush drinks. I will 100% come back again. The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my whole life. One lady I met there said she already booked to come back in the same hotel in September and I probably do the same.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! It was the best holiday ever. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, including the owner who made our stay even better.
