Dr. Effein is one of the sweetest and most caring individuals I have ever had the pleasure of being in the care of. She has helped me through many different stages of my illness and has helped me find resources outside of herself to get better. I would recommend her services to anybody who has tried and failed in the past; she is a beacon of hope in the dark sea of mental health facilities!

What can I say about Effie? I say the truth. She takes life situation and barriers, your feelings and struggles, your goals and aspirations, and makes a plan with you. It’s not black and white. She has an extremely unique gift to be able to see the big picture in my care. No magic pill exists and she treats me like a human, not a science experiment. It takes special talent to see someones whole situation, and respond accordingly. A balance of medication ,of course, but also a holistic approach, rich with self care and wisdom. This clinic is unprofessional and inconsiderate. Stated they would send forms in 48 hours and then didn't send them after multiple days. Did not pick up any calls following up after a week with no updates and then blocked my number without answering the calls.

Effiem is one of the best providers I have ever encountered in my 28 years suffering with panic disorder, anxiety and depression. You can tell she genuinely cares and is steadfast on finding and providing the best treatments and medication combinations. All these people complaining about when the office was flooded need to have a little more understanding of how a medical office works. As far as someone answering the phone mumbling…..not everyone was born in the USA and I think you are mistaking a “mumble” with an accent.

I have gone through a ton of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners and Effien is by far my favorite. I have been seeing doctors for about 25 years. You can tell that she really cares and listens to you. She even spoke with my therapist to help understand my diagnosis and symptoms. She is very cautious with her medication modifications which I really appreciate. I would recommend Effien to anyone especially if you’re nervous about going to a specialist. She will calm you and help you out in the process. I’m so glad I found Effien!
