The food was delicious and service was very friendly. It's a two person operation and food is cooked to order so either call in your order or be patient. The wait is well worth it. My husband wants to go back tomorrow before we fly out. My brother said the same thing.

We went to the "famous" fish fry and were disappointed to say the least. We had also eaten at a couple of sit down restaurants afterwards and weren't impressed either, especially for the prices being charged. Our food experience outlook was saved, on the second to last day of our stay in TCI, when we found a restaurant right by Sapodilla Beach. Literally a 3 minute drive or a 8 minute walk from there. It was a Cuban restaurant, Que Bola Little Havana, that had just opened up 4 months ago. The owners are a husband and wife team, Pedro and Milly. They are so welcoming and very approachable. In fact we talked to them quite a bit throughout our visits. Now on to the food. Let me preface this by saying my wife loves fried whole fish and ordes it whenever we visit an island, especially in the Caribbean. So she's somewhat of an expert on the matter. She had ordered fried snapper at two other restaurants prior to this one and they were the worst she's ever had. No flavor whatsoever, not even basic salt and the skin was not really fried as she was accustomed to throughout the Caribbean. While she was nervous to order fried fish for a third time, she did and it did not disappoint! Her Fried Whole Fish was delicious, packed with flavor and a had beautiful crust; crunchy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. I ordered Ropa Vieja (Shredded Beef) and it was tasty as well. Both dishes came with tostones (fried plantains), rice, beans and salad. They didn't really have any desserts other than rice pudding so we decided to forgo that, but then Milly informed us that they would have freshly made Tres Leches the next day. Given that we had a great experience the day prior and with the added enticement of one of my favorite desserts, we went again the next day. My wife ordered the fried whole fish again and experienced the same on point flavor again. This time around I ordered a Cuban Sandwich and it was delicious. We finished things off with Tres Leches for dessert, so good! One piece was actually big enough for two people, so we took our second order to go. I definitely recommend anyone looking for Cuban food, food full of flavor and a friendly environment to check this place out. Especially after a day at Sapodilla Beach.

We stopped in here after driving by on our way to Taylor bay and we’re not disappointed! Very friendly staff who were very helpful with the menu. Food was delicious and reasonably priced (unusual for TCI) we enjoyed the crack conch and the Cuban dish of the day. Make sure to ask for the “Cafe Especial” you won’t regret it!

Absolutely love the food there and love the service even more. Such a positive experience and left feeling so full and happy. UPDATE: we went multiple times and loved everything we tried. 10/10

Highly recommend Que Bola Little Havana!!! We stopped there today for lunch, Pedro was very nice, super friendly and down to earth. We really enjoyed the conversations and great food! His restaurant was very nice and clean, the food was DELICIOUS! We will definitely be going back!

The BEST place. The Cuban Conch is out of this world! I ate it 3 times while I was here. My 5th trip to Turks and will be very happy to have it again when I come back next year!

I was very interested in trying this placed based on the reviews, and I agree the food is awesome. Had the fried fish and really loved it. The owners are super nice and accommodating. In fact I arrived about when they were planning to close, but they insisted I stay and served a great meal. Along those lines, as of January 2024 Google lists them open until 7, but given the chef currently has some challenges with his schedule, I'd recommend going for lunch or just arrive by 5/5:15 for dinner. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for lunch with my wife. This place surprised me with its simple delicious food and fast friendly service in TCI. Clean restaurant with affordable quality food options. Can't wait to come back. I had the Cuban sandwich and model beer.

My husband and I stopped by to try the ropa vieja, and the shrimp Havana basket and it was so delicious that we devoured it in about ten minutes! The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and we felt right at home. We definitely plan to return during our stay to explore more of the menu.

This place had the best (and I mean best ever) fish tacos that I have ever had. I cannot believe how good they were. I rarely leave reviews. It has to be exceptional for me to do so. I am so sad that we only tried this place at the very end of our trip and I was only able to go twice. There is a small bar inside where you can grab a beer as well. The owner was there when we visited and was incredibly friendly. It is located directly adjacent to the Chalk Sound police department. So, super safe. Can't wait to go again.

The food was amazing, very flavorful and perfectly portioned. We had the fried fish for dinner and then went back and had a Cuban sandwich for lunch it was so good we went back a third time all in this trip. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice- they had a good mix of music playing! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive! Needless to say we will be going back!

A little conflicted on this review, either tell everyone how amazing this place is or keep it to myself so it remains not busy :). Their cuban sandwiches are fantastic. The fried plantains are also amazing. The surrounding area isn’t that appealing but once you get inside the people are friendly, clean and new and food is great.

Simply amazing! We stopped here after a day at the beach and were not disappointed ! The staff and the food are equally amazing. Our waitress Evelyn was so welcoming the moment we opened the door. She even played with our little one while we waited for our food, which was incredibly sweet. Everyone we spoke to made us feel so welcome, it was a very inviting atmosphere. We ordered the Fried Snapper, Havana Steak and Pizza for the little ones. Needless to say there were empty plates across the table. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We are Dominican and very familiar with this style of cuisine, this tasted like a home cooked meal. 10/10 recommend!!

I went to Que Bola several times since I did go to Chalk Sound. I had the yuca balls, a chicken sandwich, steak dinner, cuban conch, a mango shake, and Milly's cuban rum coffee. The yuca balls are stuffed with chesse and the coffee is a must to try. Thank me later. Pedro and Milly treat you as if you are family. I had a great time and the portions are good.

My girlfriend and I stopped here to try the Ropa Vieja dish, and we were very pleased. Everything on the plate was delicious! We followed that with a couple of Cuba Libre's and some Cuban coffee. I recommend trying the coffee as it was very delicious as well. In addition to the great food and excellent service, the owners were very hospitable and friendly. We look forward to returning to this restaurant the next time we visit the island.

The owner, Pedro, his wife and the waitress were super nice. I learned a little bit about Cuba and his authentic take on the Cuban sandwich. Friendly, comfortable and fodd was fantastic. Got 3 pizzas to go. All 3 were great, cheese, pepperoni and sausage pepper and onion. I didn't get the Cuban but next time will.

This was our favorite restaurant when we visited Turks. Our waitress and the owners made us feel part of their family. The Cuban was out of this world and the other food ordered by the others in our party was equally as delicious. My 7 year old son ordered a pizza that was taking a little longer than the other food. We didn’t complain or bring it to anyone’s attention (because island time of course, we weren’t in a hurry!) but they brought out a treat for my son to enjoy while he waited on the house. This was one of our favorite experiences on the island. We can’t wait to visit again ❤️

Don’t go there if you want good coffee. We ordered two iced lattes, but since they didn't have an espresso machine, we were served Folgers coffee made in a camping-style coffee maker with foamed hot milk. To make matters worse, we paid $16 USD for two coffees that ended up in the trash.

We are on the island for work purposes. I am Puertorican I love food … But good food . After having a few dish In other well known restaurant in the island we took the chance to drive 30 minutes away praying that this food was good …. And man was the trip with it . We had lunch and dinner for almost 10 days. I not only had almost the hole menu but I request food that wasn’t on the menu and it delivered with a big bang … I also had ropa vieja in a lot of different places around the nation and the Caribbean and man it was delicious. Look to finish the review I had the best experience with them . But with the food there’s nothing less to say but EXCEPTIONAL. Fresh products and made with love . Like grandma’s food . Thank you QUE BOLA I would not have made it 10 days of hard work without the food .
