NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY. Just because a restaurant has vegetarian options it doesn't mean is vegetarian friendly. We came for dinner as we were told there was many vegetarian dishes by the door man. I ordered a Vegetable Parilla (grill) with rice and couldn't be more disappointed. The amount of veggies was a joke, literally, 3 small pieces of each (brocolli, cauliflower, carrot, courgette). I immediately complained that that was a main course and the guy said "there's no vegetarian dish, only portions, and this is the amount, that's it". I also ordered a portion on fried casava which was good. My boyfriend at his turn ordered tomato soup which was plain and dull, and he had to add loads of pepper and salt to get some taste. As a main, he ordered a pizza that was told by the waiter to be made in wood oven and should be delicious. Pizza came mildly warm to cold, not well baked, sloppy and with a poor taste. Bottom line, we spent 140Bs for 4 dishes and a drink (tomato soup, medium pizza, veggies with rice and cassava portion) and got out of there thinking we waste money, time and were not fairly informed or helped by staff. Really suggest AVOIDING this place and going to El Trebol instead across the street that has good vegetarian food and nice service.

Came here for lunch just before catching a boat to Isla Del Sol, so we needed something quick and yummy! We had two really cold Quesquena Doradas which we thought were slightly overpriced at £3 each, however we accepted we were on the Tourist strip. We also ordered two Trout Ceviche which were 35Bs each, tasted lovely and there was lots of it. The only thing that let it down was the fact we had to wait 30 minutes for the ceviche which only gave us 15 minutes to eat before we had to run and catch our boat. Apart from the slow service the restaurant itself looks lovely, welcoming and very clean. Would recommend to visit if you have nowhere to get to in a hurry :)

Chill and 'romantic' atmosphere. Definitely has a more high end feel vs some of the other restaurants in town. Food was good, I ate the aji de gallina which is one of my favourite dishes. It was very tasty but I marked down on food and service because the prices are a little high for what it's worth - you are probably paying a fee for the decor and atmosphere. Still a lovely dinner that i would recommend.

Argh! We trusted an out of date lonely planet before checking google. Good points: - Service was fine, a little slow but not as bad as the other reviews state. About average for Andean Bolivia. - Pisco sours were decent enough - Ceviche starter was nice - Didn’t notice any issue with cleanliness and the atmosphere was fine Causa limeña - terrible Trout milanesa - was basically a salty trout omelette with greasy chips Pizza - remarkable. The base was burnt and the whole thing tasted like cardboard. I’m not exactly sure how you can make pizza that badly. We complained and got the pizza taken off the bill but was still very expensive (280 BOB)

Nice atmosphere, extensive menu, food was very good. Slow bringing our drinks and bill but food service was fine. More efficient service would have earned 5 stars. I understand the complaint about prices. For people seeking the 28 BOB menu del dia that all the other dives on the street shovel out, prices here might seem high. If you’re looking for freshly prepared, decent food in a nice atmosphere, the prices are fair.
