Very beautiful site, no building or anything (except a few houses and parking space in the bottom of the hill, I went Iike at 8:00am and it was nice, but when your in the top it get a little crouded but not too much, a very nice experience...when going up its tiring, but when your going down its a little complicated, but very nice, I recommend it for older children.

Nice place for trekking near Santiago. Full of people visit here on the weekend.

I hiked this on a late Sunday afternoon. The hike wasn’t bad at all except for the short final stretch that was extremely dusty and steep. I only have sneakers with me on this trip but with hiking boots it would’ve been better. I took a Cabify ride to and from the trailhead and had issues getting cell service at the base for ordering my ride home so I’d suggest planning ahead for that if you don’t he a car. Would recommend for the view at the top!

Nice stroll up. Not as gruelling as its brother Manquehue, but a good workout. There are two entrances where you can start. One is at Calle el Candor and the other is at Via Rojo. On weekends and holidays it can get crowded with tons of people and lots of unleashed dogs. 99 percent head to Manquehuito. If you want more tranquility, head to its brother Manquehue.

Wear hiking shoes and take a jacket! It gets cold up there sometimes. Entrance is free, you can also use a mountain bike to go up. Furthermore, it's an excellent nature spot for a calm Sunday hike to clear the mind. For those who want something easier, there is also the Pink Floyd spot, which is almost half way to Manquehito, it's less busy and has equally great views. Definitely recommend walking/hiking it first, then proceeding to Manquehito if you feel the need to.

A "must" in Santiago. The view is good, I recommend you yo visit it during sunset or sunrise. For sure the view is better than visiting Costanera and is free. However, most of the year wirh contamination in a capital like Stgo, is not very amazing.

Robberies have been known to take place along the trail. There are more hikers on the trail on weekends, so this is the safest time to go.

Nice warmup hike for longer day hikes. Not too strenuous but wear boots because the dirt is loose. You'll reach a point on the trail before you start your ascent where there's a wooden fence. Just climb through the fence and go to the right.

The view here is awesome. But it takes some time to climb up and down.

Amazing views. You can also see chamomile plants on your way up! We took 40 mins going up and around 20 min getting back to the bottom. Make sure to bring shoes with grip as the terrain is slippery. The trail is not too hard for people used to do sports.
