What an awesome experience! First, I don't know why Google says this place is $10-$20 because I spent $75 without drinks for an app, main, and dessert. This place is just straight-up delicious! Vegan or not, the food is good. I sat at the counter, and the server was helpful and down to chit-chat a bit when he had a second. A chef also came by and asked how the food tasted. I felt well taken care of at this place. I would say the portions are "content" level; you won't feel full, but you won't feel hungry. Can't wait to come back to the place!

Bland food. Bland “service”. Bland experience. It’s been years since I’ve had bad food. My pizza was like cardboard. The sauce scarce and bland. Vegetables…stingy: I mean this is a VEGAN (veggies right?!) BISTRO (that implies flavor). My client ordered pasta and salad and picked at it to be nice. This was unacceptable and over priced. Waitress clearly didn’t want to be there. Or to serve us. I felt unwanted and a nuisance dispute being cordial and friendly to her. The place was empty at noon on a Friday and stayed empty while we were there. I love leaving 5 star reviews. This didn’t even warrant a 3 star. So for all of those people leaving 5 star reviews…I trusted you. And bringing my client here for a lunch meeting was embarrassing.

Upscale prices with limited food, filled with mash potatoes, lack of good service and lousy ambiance We went here recently and boy were we disappointed. The prices are exorbitant for the type of restaurant it is. There is no ambiance you feel like you are eating at a café. The quantity was very small for the price they charged! They fluffed up each dish with mashed potatoes - which mind you are very cheap! To add insult to injury they tacked on a 20% service charge?! For what? I don't understand - their servers were not even trained!! The servers are not trained and were leaning over us to pick things up and asking us to pass them things on our table! We ordered truffle frites - which were just French fries with hardly anything on them - couldn't even taste the truffle oil - $9, Caesar salad - $12 - nothing to write home about. Shepherd's pie at $18 - it was so tiny - mainly mashed potatoes and it was priced so high. Short rib - $30 - OMG this dish was a joke - they took two portabella mushrooms and cut them up so thin and served them up with you guessed it mashed potatoes! Tofu aux cerises - fancy names with no real substance - took 2 cubes of tofu and called it an entrée at $32! Bacon mac and cheese at $16 - it was tiny and tasteless. Their presentation of the dishes was nice but you can't justify paying $30 for a dish that is fluffed up with mashed potatoes! I don't know how anyone can eat here and be satisfied! I have eaten at many upscale vegan restaurants. Here I felt like I was cheated! I also went home hungry! I would definitely not recommend this restaurant!

The food was pretty good. The French onion soup ($14) was delicious and I was happy to find a vegan option of it! Everything was good, but not amazing I’d say. For the price I’d expect better. The lights need to be turned down, it felt so bright and sterile for a Saturday evening date night.

Overall 4/5 Pros: The cheese was definitely worth the hype! Couldn’t tell it was vegan at all and even looked the part, which is always a pleasant surprise. The bbq pizza was amazing! The breadsticks were perfection as well. The 12” size left us tons of leftovers which was a huge plus. I can imagine two 12” pizzas would be able to feed up to 4 people comfortably. Cons: Inconsistency. The bbq pizza was a bit under baked vs the pepperoni pizza which was burnt on the bottom-I personally don’t mind it being over baked but certainly didn’t enjoy the inconsistency between the pizzas. My husband mentioned it being chewy, I agree. It was quite chewy, I wish they had made the crust a bit thinner but wasn’t too bothered by it. ! This is me being nit picky for this next point as I have experience making my own wheat meat ! - I didn’t enjoy the pepperoni very much. It just wasn’t as flavorful as it could have been, IMO. Overall, certainly worth a try and we’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

The food was delicious. The risotto balls were creamy and had a great sauce. The absolute best thing there was the Mac n Cheese. The desserts were also solid and although I love chocolate I actually preferred the berry cheesecake.

Absolutely did not disappoint. Prices are date night but well worth the dime. Enjoyable plant based food with excellent consistency. Spices are dead on, you almost question whether it's truly vegan. No worries, the chef has done extensive research getting these dishes right for any foodie palate. Definitely on our list of places we will be frequenting often!

I tried this spot for the first time last night in a group of 4. Every dish we ordered was fantastic! I don't recall eating at a strictly vegan restaurant before, and this was an amazing first experience. The texture of the noodles was perfect, all the cheeses and sauces were excellent, the Mac & cheese was much better than I expected and I could not get enough of the bacon carbonara!!! All were new and lovely to my mouth. I will be back. We had a substantial wait when we arrived (35 minutes), but that's to be expected at such a top notch little place on a Saturday evening. The majority of their seating is padded, the ambiance isn't quite perfected yet (the lighting seems a bit off) but has a warm simplicity. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and our server was great. My only complaint is the difficulty with parking in that area. They don't have their own lot and it's a precarious place to leave a vehicle. Do yourself a favor and walk, cycle, or Lyft.

Wow what a dinner! Creative and delicious plant based recipes made with fresh local seasonal ingredients, gracefully plated and served in a beautiful space decorated with local art. Our entrees; etouffee, succotash and steak & grits were all true to the flavors and nature of each dish. Pictured are the etouffee, succotash, steak & grits entrees and the excellent poached apple and sweet potato torte desserts. Highly recommend, Seasons may be the pinnacle of our local plant based food culinary scene. Thank you James!

New location is gorgeous with an all glass facade. Baked ziti and crusted Tufo are delicious. This is plant based at it’s best!

Amazing! All of our dinners were delicious! We tried all 3 desserts as well and they were great! Definitely love they are all vegan and we will be back next year! Wish I could have tried the mac and cheese, but that is a seasonal dish. If you have never been here, the menu changes with the seasons, as goes with the name of the restaurant. Pretty cool concept, just wish maybe some items could be year round I guess. Nevertheless, this place is awesome!

Really great tasty vegan restaurant in Salt Lake City. James was very friendly and the portobello was delicious. Great, fun atmosphere. I like how they add 20 percent automatically to the price of food in order to cover serving/ labor better with less variability. Really cool to just stomp the ridiculousness that tipping has gotten to over the last few years.

This food was incredible! Holy cow, it’s all plant based and tastes so fresh and incredible! I would come back to salt lake just to visit this restaurant again. The service was also incredible. I’m gonna dream about this food for the rest of the year now!

The dining experience was superb. Even if you don't eat vegan, this place is a must try. DELICIOUS! Every dish. I recommend the artichoke dip (they ferment their own cashews to make the vegan cheese) and chocolate pudding w/cherry sauce. This place serves a five star dining experience (food + service).

The food was pretty good. I tried the White Sabbath and the Red Zeppelin as well as the mozzarella sticks. I wasn’t a fan of the Red Zeppelin-the soy sausage taste was overwhelming. But the White Sabbath was alright-creamy and the sprinkled nutritional yeast on top was yummy-definitely needed red pepper flakes and salt though. The mozzarella sticks were good but had a very weird texture that was off putting-not “cheesy” on the inside but rather a liquid cream. Presentation was awful. Pasta served on metal pizza plates was a very odd choice. It made the meal look sloppy and unappetizing. The restaurant looked like it was in the middle of some kind of renovation and had no decorations. Overall I would go back once more to make sure we didn’t just catch it on an off day. Ambiance-zero stars Design-1 star Taste-3 stars Presentation-zero stars Service-N/A you order and pay online in the restaurant.

My husband brought me here for my birthday dinner, and I am so glad. Our server was such an angel and so sweet. We also decided to order 5 appetizers to share instead of any entrees and have no regrets! Best artichoke dip I have EVER had, could convince non vegans to come to the dark side :) Thankful gourmet vegan comfort food exists where I don’t have to cook it myself.

I came in really wanting the carbonara because good luck finding a plant based carbonara and it’s one of the “normie” foods I really miss since going PB. Instead they had the white sabbath and it was off the charts good. It’s a little on the pricier side but totally worth it. The place was clean and easy to find with ample parking. It’d be a good place for a date night. The fellow working was really friendly and helpful. I was surprised it was pretty dead on Friday night of New Year’s Eve, go figure.

The "steak and grits" had amazing flavors! I was impressed with the dish and the service (thanks, Aiden). It's nice to find healthy options close by. Oh! And a pro tip: Leave room for dessert. The sweet potato torte is excellent 😋.

The food was too tangy for us. The artichoke dip and garlic bread was the best among everything that we ordered. If your teeth are sensitive will suggest you to order something without Marinara as that was extremely tangy. Other than that the service was pretty good and ambience was decent.

As someone who’s only become vegan this past year, I am surprised at the level of quality of the food. No generic stuff here, it’s all from scratch! I had the lasagna special, and it was absolutely perfect! Lasagna is one of those things that, in my opinion, is tough to get right on its own, let alone making it vegan, but this was top notch! It tasted like regular non-veg lasagna! A full five stars all the way! It absolutely worth the trip into town!

My wife and I love everything about Seasons! The food and service are presented in the most caring and beautiful way. Chef James is incredible at what he does. Order anything from the menu and you'll leave a happy camper. The atmosphere is nice and cozy but modern and elegant in the same way. Vegan or not, you should give this place a visit!

  • 5/5 Josh E. 2 years ago on Google
The Hang Loose Pizza was an excellent combo of sweet pineapple and spicy jalapeño. The Primo Pizza had extra creamy cheese and tasty pepperoni, with delicious mushrooms and black olives. Probably best to order for delivery, there’s not much parking and didn’t feel like a place I wanted to spend more time than I had to.

Update 2022: they completely changed the menu. Very disapointing, i used to love this place now its just a pizza joint. *previous review: Absolutely love the atmosphere and options(although it was a little dark, I didn't mind). So happy there is a vegan fine dinning option in Salt Lake. Large portions and competitively priced for the portions and quality. Very flavorful food a little too salty on the entree but still great.

  • 5/5 Clifford W. 10 months ago on Google
Excellent vegan options. The artichoke dip was so good! Prices were higher than some, but worth every penny. Service was great too. Highly recommend.

They are selling different options of cheeses this year at the slc farmers market ! They are spreadable , perfect amount of saltiness , and satisfying on the savory level . No harsh smells or offensive taste . This cheese I would recommend to take to your next party that’s has omnivores! My husband loved it !

I wanted to like this place and was excited for a new restaurant. Pretty much missed on all cylinders for me. The ambiance is really bad - I felt like I was eating in a museum. Needs better lighting and a feeling of coziness. The food is not great… why am I paying a premium price for this? The vegetarian options at Franklin Street are much better and way more tasty. I hope they can pivot. I’m rooting for you…

DELICIOUS vegan food!!! Don’t listen to any bad reviews, they don’t know what they’re talking about 😂 Seriously, this food was so good. Pics are the Cheese Board, Mozzarella sticks, Carbonara, and Chicken alla vodka. Will definitely be eating here again!

The bread was perfectly flaky and buttery; the egg was light, fluffy, and fresh; and the sausage was extremely flavorful and juicy without being greasy. Quite honestly, probably the best of those kinds of sandwiches I've ever had. Where we differed was our coffee choice -- Their house brew with half & half and vanilla syrup for him, of which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Visited Seasons last night for the first time with my husband. We had a fantastic experience! We're not vegan but we could be if we ate here every day. The food was incredible, and servers were very attentive. Can't wait to come back!

I have never been to a plant based bistro before and as someone who eats meat this was amazing. Their bistecca was amazing and the fondue was so tasty, Its perfect for a date and quiet enough it's nice but not to quiet. They even came by and cleaned up my fondue mess before our main meal. and didnt pester us while we ate. The location is small enough they can get to everyone without making you feel rushed. My drinks were always full even after paying. 10/10

  • 5/5 Benjamin C. 4 years ago on Google
The seasoning and flavors were simply perfect. The fact that it is all plant based makes it even better. The staff was exceptionally accommodating as we had a tight turn around. We would recommend this to anyone in SLC.

Amazing vegan menu. The vegan cheese fondue was amazing so was the ravioli. Atmosphere is relaxing and wait staff so friendly. My advice....arrive early and hope for the best. It is located in a sketchy part of town and you have to park on the street; another reason to arrive early if you can.

Seasons Plant Based Bistro in Salt Lake City - a fabulous restaurant with Italian flair and extremely friendly service. All their dishes are made from scratch, even pasta. Everything is so flavorful and comes beautifully presented. Good size portions but the 3 of us didn’t leave a crumb on the plate.

Updated review: we love seasons, it's 100% plant based and the food is always amazing. We were here a couple of weeks ago and loved their food. Then tonight they announced they were doing take out with a new menu so we went again and it was amazing. I seriously recommend anything they do with mushrooms!

Having been vegetarian and dating a vegan for 6 years now we have had a hard time finding quality vegan places. Don't get me wrong I'm thrilled at all the fast food vegan options now but to be able to eat pasta with cheese and tiramisu knowing it's fully vegan and have it feel upscale and taste AMAZING was an awesome experience. I will be going here again for sure. It was such a pleasure. :)
