Didn’t know what to expect besides stellar 5-star reviews but don’t always tell the whole story. But they are well warranted here. This gem of a restaurant only has pielmieni (little boiled dumplings) now but they are done perfectly. Strange to think why that would be a big deal in a town where it seems very restaurant has pierogi on the menu but these have the taste of feel of m freshness and competently made. The dough has a, tooth feel, when you bite into it. Something like Al dente pasta. But quit reading this and go to the underground and try these for yourself. It’s right around the corner from the McD’s across from the vinyl shop in the underground passage (SW corner of the train station) Favorites were the liver and onions and the mushroom/potato. Enjoy.

I truly addicted of liver and potato-mushrooms dumplings. First time I’ve visited W Kuchni bar a week ago and now me and my husband are returning customers. Strongly recommend this place. Really tasty and prices are affordable ♥️

Simple rustic setting and homely cooking. Owner and his wife were kind enough to open the store for us little after the closing time, given we were drenched in the cold rain outside!! Loved the hot and well-flavoured Pielmeinis. We tried the Beef, potato and mushroom, and the sweet cheese options, each served with a dollop of sour cream. Thank you for the hospitality and the good food. Each serving consisted of 8 dumplings and was priced at PLN16 ($4) each.

Incredibly delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. Owners are so nice and I cannot wait to return for more. A highlight of Warsaw!

As a foreigner it was hard to find the place and it’s underground near the central train station. I had palmieni mix of every taste ,all juicy and tasty, not the best but very good! Super kind people! Price is super cheap!

This a fantastic Ukrainian restaurant with the best dumplings you can find in Warsaw. It had really friendly owners and the dumplings are just amazing. Loved the beef ones and also the eggplant & potato ones. Highly recommend

Super delicious pielmieni. Lovely Ucranian owner couple who make freshly their specialties. I tried the mushroom,beef, liver and onion, cod fish and love them all.

Absolutely beautiful pielmeni! Small, simple cafe/restaurant with no fuss and friendly owners, who you can see have a real passion for their craft. This place deserves the extremely high rating it has! We had a selection of the meat-free ones and every one was incredible, with the potato & onion and potato & mushrooms real highlights! It must be hard to get that extra few percent in a country where many restaurants are serving great dumplings, but this place does... The dough is beautiful, and the pielmeni were cooked to perfection too, with a really nice bite and some texture. 10/10 and already waiting for the next visit to Warsaw so we can return.

We weren't even hungry but ended up ordering 3 plates of dumplings! Absolutely lovely people running the shop. Please don't judge it by the location, just go in and order, then see for yourself. Really hoping to visit again.

This place is underground (subway). For Quick taste of great Pierogi (boiled), Come here. It is Worth it !! We ordered Pierogis with filling: Mushroom & Potatoes Potato & Fried Onions Eggplant & Vegetables Salted cottage cheese with dill Pros: 1. Great service, with a smile. Hospitable & Warmth in receiving. 2. Small and easy menu. They serve what they know is their best. 3. Nice layout. Visually doesn't feel like in the subway, except when the tram passes over on surface. 4. Free Wifi 5. Food taste is fresh and nice. Cons: 1. The sound of the tram is overwhelming. But it is very obvious consider the location of the place. 2. Pierogi skin is probably thick, but doable.

Hidden little gem that’s actually down in the subway. It has a homely feel and I found the overhead rumbling sound of the subway above to have a little charm. The dumplings tasted amazing, we had the eggplant and vegetable. Cheap, tasty and hidden - absolute perfect.

The beef pielmienie are outstanding. Absolutely delicious. Good food, reasonable prices and friendly owners. Great place.

Best dumplings in town! We came here a few times, staff is amazing as well as the food, every variation. We tried several dumpling places in warsaw but this is definitely the best.

A traditional dumpling restaurant located in underground, run by a lovely Ukrainian couple, the pelmeni I've got are cooked to perfection, and some filling options are very unique, ( liver with potato, beef with plum ), you can make your own combo to try several different fillings. The couple were very enthusiastic, and you can tell immediately the difference once you tried their pelmeni/pierogi, the freshness and premium quality of the ingredients, most importantly their excellent dumpling making skill, make it an unforgettable experience for my journey ❤️

Delicious dumplings, served by the very friendly Ukrainian owner! He was very welcoming and explained the different options to me as there was no English menu. Excellent value for money. Will definitely return when next in Warsaw. The restaurant is in the underground shopping centre, accessed from the railway station or steps down from the street - the pin location is accurate.

Had an incredibly lovely experience in this establishment! The taste of pelmeni is unbelievably amazing! Waiting time for the order preparation is quite fast (10-15 mins). The hosts of the establishment are pleasant and hostile. They even treated me with tea, when I had to spend more time in place than needed as I had to wait for my friend. This along with a delicious lunch made me feel really welcomed and caused my heart to fill with warmth. Yes, it the place itself might be a bit noisy as you can hear the subway, though all the pluses mentioned above are definitely much bigger and more important than this disadvantage. Thank you, THE hosts, for a great Friday afternoon!

Such a nice place run by a super friendly married couple. Definitely worth it when you’re in Warsaw, even though the location is underground the central station. To be honest, not just worth it, it’s a must! I can recommend the mushroom&potato - they were just so good :)

Absolutely delicious dumplings with sour cream and dill, the loveliest people, unusual setting beneath the subway is nothing to be put off by! So worth it - they were very welcoming despite our lack of language skills and the dumplings were just so yummy - thank you, we will be back if in Warsaw again and wholeheartedly recommend!
