The palace interior is really amazing! The exhibition about history of the city of Łódź is very modern and quite interesting, but it could have had a better guiding narrative. I was a bit disengaged despite being a big history buff. That's why I'm giving only 4 stars out of 5. You can tour the whole museum in a single hour if you are quick. Up to two hours is enough for everybody.

Really nice experience. Totally loved the relaxing atmosphere. The art is amazing. Ticket price was also very fair. Would recommend this place if you have a couple of hours to spare.

Very nice to see and hear of one of the great textile giants of Lodz. Rich history with lots af beautiful artistic design. They don't do interior like that anyone. Currently there is some ongoing renovation both outside and inside but the place still looks great and its a must see site if your visiting Lodz. Also there are many events happening and the magnificent staircase at the back is very lovely

One of the oldest buildings in city of Lodz which is dedicated to old paintings and some of the exhibition which shows how Polish house looked like in olden days. Its also dedicated to a Polish musician who has won some of the prestigious awards in the world. There is also a moment dedicates to this musician in old town.

This museum has got a bit of everything really. You get a bit of the Izrael Poznański family story, the story about Łódź and then a whole lot more.

I kind of dosn't understand the concept of this museum. But we definitelly found some interesting information here. Interiers were also nice, but I would expect a bit more for this price.

Must see for all those interested in history of Lodz ... a town that transformed itself from a small town into industrial (textile) revolution powerhouse at the beginning of XX century. It is located in a magnificent building that once belonged to second richest (if I am not mistaken) textile magnate. Interiors are really magnificent and well preserved.

The fact that this palace/museum has survived intact is amazing. Current restoration is incredible. A real tribute to the city of Lodz. Wonderfully helpful and interesting guides here also make this an essential visit. Thank you.

Lovely museum of my hometown. Palace ineriors are interesting, the dining room is especially beautiful. However 4 stars only because every room should have description in english at least...this was lacking when I visited with my english speaking friends on two separate occasions. The new exhibition about Jewish Łódź (on the lower ground floor) is brilliant with boards and plaques in english. Very interesting!

A lot of service, nice but unfortunately nothing more than that. When I go to such a place, I would like to learn about the inhabitants, their life, what is left and what is the original and what is a reconstruction, etc. When purchasing the ticket, when I asked for a guide, I was not offered anything. I wanted to get more out of this place.☹️ Well, I watched it, read the descriptions, maybe I'll read something else. It's a pity, it's a beautiful, historic place, but the staff doesn't want to attract tourists. I have been to other places where every half hour or hour, groups entered with a guide. Łódź still has to learn.

Rather a strange experience overall. Was initially greeted by a very friendly member of staff on the front desk. I asked for two adult tickets on arrival as anyone would do. Was told to head to the first floor and the interior of the palace was wonderful and some nice artefacts and info. We then just followed the route assuming a ticket would give you access to the whole museum. We entered a photography exhibition where there were no staff (the whole museum was pretty much empty anyway) and spent a good 20+ mins. Out of nowhere a lady approached us in a really uncomfortable manner demanding to see our ticket. I showed her my ticket (obviously without any idea I needed another) she explained that 'this is additional ticket' and was quite obviously extremely angry. It was very bizarre to be honest. I said I had just bought a ticket I have no idea, of course I would have paid for another. (Polish museums have very cheap entrance fees). The lady then walked us out of the exhibition, not to the desk to pay for another ticket or anything but simply just marched us out and get in the lift. Didn't even offer us to just finish the exhibition or anything. So confused. It was really so awkward and embarrassing. Really poorly handled. Left us feeling very uncomfortable. We just left all together.

Great museum to visit; it was magnificent during the Museum Night; many antique items from different fields of city life and history are exhibited there.

Especially helpful those who worked. They guided us without even asking. We really enjoyed it and read quite a lot of interesting information. In addition, it has everything in English, which is extremely important.

An inconspicuous museum from the outside, but impressive with its interior. It turns out that there is quite a large area to explore inside, full of nooks and crannies :) On level -1, there is a large number of interactive additions to the exhibits, which made the tour very fun :) If you visit Łódź, don't forget to visit this museum :)

You can see some old exhibition, good thing is that many things are mentioned in english also.

An interesting place to kill 2 hours or so. Gorgeous building for its interior and exterior. The price of 18zł for admission was a fair price. The flow of the museum was a bit muddled & not as clear as I would've liked despite the signs & staff. There were plenty of instances where signs were only in Polish with no English. Despite some of these criticisms, I still enjoyed it.

very nice museum and battered history. the people inside don't speak much English and there are almost no explanations about what you see. few screens have explanations but it's a very nice and well maintained museum and i enjoyed my time inside.
