🫤 I am not sure if it was me or it’s related with the taste and ingredients of pierogis here but they were way below average in my opinion. This applies for both types either fried or boiled. We also tried soup 🍲 but it was lack of flavor neither. People often mention good, service, recommend, nice, delicious, restaurant, polish, traditional, staff, dumplings,

We've eaten at this restaurant several times over our week long stay, it is in a great location close to the centre and offers a wide selection of traditional Polish foods. Everything on the menu is delicious and comes in large portions for a very good price. The wait staff are all friendly and the food arrives very quickly. We recommend trying the filled crepes and cabbage rolls. Definitely try this place out if you are looking for good Polish style food.

Very average meal. Filling but nothing out of the ordinary. Fried pierogi were better than boiled, but neither were super flavorful. Potato pancakes were quite greasy. Soup was good, slightly sweeter than expected. 10% service charge added to bill. Good location Lots of vegetarian options but unsure of vegan options.

Great little place. The food was amazing and staff were friendly and helped us with recommendations. We really enjoyed the pierogies both fried and boiled. We especially enjoyed the spinach and garlic one. The traditional pork stew in the rustic bun was flavourful and bread was warm and crisp and soft at the same time. Prices are also decent. Highly recommend.

First sit down place for me in Warsaw was nice just outside the old town. Quiet location and nice patio with sunshine near. Tripe soup was excellent and the potato pancakes and goulash were crispy and well cooked. The sour cream was a nice add. Delicious! All for just over 20$ great deal!

Good place to try polish national food . Outside areas is really pretty and waiters are very nice . And a really cool that you can take dumplings with different fillings (even 1 each, but there should be 8 at least in total ) I enjoyed it here )) 🥟🫐🧺

Very reasonably priced polish food. The food wasn't mind blowing, but it was a nice experience sampling some traditional polish dishes. I especially enjoyed trying the berry-filled pierogi. The lady waiting the tables was also incredibly welcoming, even offering me a blanket when the weather took a sudden turn for the worst. Highly recommend for new tourists, but not necessarily locals.

Cute little restaurant with a cozy and warm atmosphere. Super nice staff and fast service. The potato pierogis were so good, as was the goulash. Huge portions. Definitely recommend!

Taste: 8/10 Price: 9/10 Location: 10/10 You have a choice of getting mixed plate of dumplings. For example, if one plate has 8 pieces, you have a choice of ordering different options to have a total of 8. Really like the ambience. 2 mins from old Town square. Enjoy the authenticity!!!

Charming place with authentic polish cusine. The staff was very friendly and the atmoshere was lovely, it is right by the city walls. We ordered pierogi for starters and placki ziemniaczane and staropolski bigos for main dish. Everything was delicious! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try real polish food!

Love the food, the service and the atmosphere except the air. Kitchen ventilation needs to be improved. The spinach cheese pierogi is a little bland, maybe it needs the salt and pepper provided.

What a pleasant surprise! Great festive atmosphere, loud, but melodious singing from celebrating (?) patrons all encouraged by an efficient and friendly waitstaff. The food is absolutely of the highest quality, the service unparalleled, this place is more of an experience than a restaurant

Many popular Polish dishes to choose from. Great for visitors or tourists to try various food items in one place. Tried the zurek (sour rye soup). It was delicious. Ordered pierogi since they had like 3 pages of different fillings to choose from. Chose the ones with spinach leaves, white cheese and garlic, with fried bacon toppings. It was OK. Also ordered the potato pancakes with pork goulash. That was yummy. Service was OK. Prices were reasonable. 10% service charge would be added to the bill automatically.

It is one of the best restaurants to taste local pirohy so expect some crowd and place is squeezed, you sit literally back to back with people. For the rest food is good and freshand the staff has a smile.

We tried this restaurant because it was highly rated on google and we were looking forward to some traditional cuisine. The food was good but not exactly as traditional as we expected when it came to taste. The space was very small but in the end we enjoyed the warm eliksir and the golonka (pig nuckle) was not bad. They offer a free souvenir for rating the restaurants so we suspect that skews the ratings a bit, but it's a good place in general.

This is the best rated restaurant of the chain that apparently has several locations around old town and Warsaw. Good selection of most typical Polish cuisine, with pictures to help choosing. Large portions (as is typical) - still many seemed to have made the mistake of ordering too much. Excellent, sharp and polite service. Small but cosy restaurant, will not cater a group more than 4 people. Just outside the old town walls, so less busy it seems. All in all, I recommend this place for authentic Polish food with very good value for money. The mulled wine was nice and tasty, but too warm.

Pierogi Heaven!! Found this place after going through Warsaw Old Town and recommended by a local. The food is plentiful and the taste is fantastic. Throughly recommend a visit. Now off to sleep off that amazing lunch!

Very delicious and inexpensive polish meals. The restaurant offers a great variety of different polish dishes. The Gulasch with potato dumplings were very delicious and filling. The red beet soup was seasoned well and had a nice sweet sour taste. Go here if you want to have a comforting and traditional polish dish.

Small cozy place with nice service. Accessible prices and food quality in the average. The apple pie was lacking taste and the pierogi too oily.

Attentive, delicious, authentic! This was my first polish restaurant i tried during my trip and it was definitely not a fail. The staffs offered me a cheery vodka at the end and I ended up ordering even more! Will come back.

Must go to place in Warsaw! 😍 if you’re looking for polish traditional dishes, don’t look other places! The queue outside might look scary but it’s worth the wait! The menu is full of delicious food, the staff is friendly and Margarita has been very helpful to recommend me & the place is cute! I went for the dumplings and the Bigos and it was excellent 👌 I recommend blindly 100%, I’ll come back to try the rest of the menu 🥰

Such a lovely restaurant in the old town center. Their food is absolutely delicious, from dumplings, which we had for starters, to the main course. Potato pancakes with pork goulash sauce with peppers and champignons were particulary amazing, I was in heaven. And our waitress Marina was super kind and friendly, we would definitely like to come back, keep up the great work.😁❤️

Everything was delicious. I think this is a good place to go if you want to try traditional polish food. All in the Menu is from Poland and everything we’ve ordered was really good. A big shout out to the waitress (Margarita) that was really nice, her service was perfect and she assisted me (with not idea of polish whatsoever) on every query I had.

I think 9 pieces is too much for 1 person. I couldn’t exist properly for the rest of the day. It could be good of u sell less than that too so we are not forced to eat the 9. Food was good and waitress super nice.

This meal was literally one of the best I've had in my life! I had the pork stew with potato dumplings, and it was simple, but perfectly so. Every element of the meal was made beautifully. If I lived in Warsaw, I'd be here weekly!

I went to the old town for sightseeing with a friend and this lady gave me a brochure. She was super nice and explained about the food and we are interested in trying Polish food. We ordered the dumplings and chicken crepes something. The chicken crepes was my favorite so far ❤️

Delicious food. It is a really small and cozy restaurant. The only downside it would be that it is not very well vented, so the clothes smell like food afterward. Other than that, the service was great and food was very good.

DODGY experience, but hopefully just a fluke. Otherwise, the food was simply outstanding. Mulled wine was meh. 1 star off because they charged for 8 orders of pierogi instead of 8 pieces... Then when I asked for the bill to be corrected, the apology was cursory and lukewarm at best - strange to me, when the bill goes from 175 to 360 złoty. On the other hand, it could have just been a language barrier. Still, the short manager-woman was anything but warm and welcoming. This location in the Old Town was really cool, somewhat out of the way and very cozy, but I didn't realize it's just a branch, with another location nearer the metro area.

A traditional polish restaurant in the old city. There were a long waiting to go in, about 20 minutes. The place is cozy and warm. Lovely decoration there. The food feels like home. The pierogi was delicious and the soup was nice too. The service was good. Overall recommend restaurant.

Situated in the old town part of Warsaw, this is a more traditional restaurant. The dumplings were good. We had the buckwheat and mushroom which was different and pretty tasty. We also had the pork gulash which was unfortunately a bit on the dry side. The flavouring was quite nice though. Really nice staff and great service. They speak enough English to make it easy enough.

If you came to Warsaw for a taste of traditional Polish food you won't be disappointed here! Warm and quick service, and the food and drinks are sure to warm you up from a cold winter walk as well. Don't miss the soups they're absolutely delicious especially the beet root dumpling soup 😋!

A great restaurant in a great place! We have already been several times there during our stays in Warsaw. The waitresses are welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious, although something may be a bit heavy for the stomach. I didn’t want anything heavy this time, so ordered a schnitzel, which was really nice. We ordered some mulled wine drinks, they were good, too. But the most amazing drink for us that time was the Mad dogs (vodka, cranberry juice and Tabasco). They are just a must try, if you are also a bit cold and damp as we were that evening. Stir them well and enjoy with food! You’ll feel warm and relaxed (and no headache next morning).

  • 5/5 Irina S. 1 year ago on Google
Don't come here if you're not hungry; the portions are medium sized but the kitchen is quite heavy. And delicious, too! Dumplings with pork are to die for. Besides, the location just outside the Barbican is great. Local affordable cuisine just a few steps away from the old city center.

  • 4/5 Helena H. 1 year ago on Google
The soup was amazing, the dumplings were a bit plain for me. In general, it's a good place to try traditional Polish dishes. However, there is a minus point, the waitress should take care of their hair with customers' food.

Excellent ,excellent traditional Polish food. Myself and my wife loved the food so much that we kept going to Gościniec repeatedly. Delicious comforting food. The soup broth, Potato pancakes , the dumplings, traditional sour soup with sausages in a bread boat, local bear, mulled wine, liver fry, lemonade with vodka. The apple pie is to die for. Must try!!!! Highly recommend the place. We thoroughly enjoyed :)

Tried the Polish traditional soup Żurek here, the sourdough bread is crispy at the outside, and you can drink the soup and dip the bread in it at the same time. The mint-lime lemonade is also fresh for the summertime! The price is reasonable and also the service is good.

We visited here for a dinner after visiting the nearby Stare Miasto. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, taking care of all our preferences and suggesting options. Even though one of us is vegetarian, there are plenty of options for veggie as well. We had the famous Polish pierogi, highly recommended. The potato pancakes were out of the world, and the goulash very flavored. The crepes too are bursting with flavour and very enjoyable. Overall a greatly recommended visit for some traditional Polish food. Definitely will visit again.

We had our last dinner here cause I red a lot of positive reviews and I want to have some typical polish food before leaving Poland and our expectations weren't disappointed. I had the Meat Soup served in the bread bowl and I ordered 2 portions of the boiled and fried pierogi. All the food was beautiful. The place is small but very cozy and the staff is very welcoming.
