👍 The soup in bread with boiled egg and sausage was good- loved the sausage. The only minus to it is that it was sour and I prefer the soup to be sweeter but that is just a matter of taste. The pierogi selection was huge (4 different types * two each) and I ate only the meat ones as I am not a big fan... Came here to try out some authentic Polish dishes and we were not disappointed. Ordered a Bigos and a Venison dish and they were splendid. The atmosphere is pretty awesome and would definitely recommend if you want to feel Polish food. Dawid’s service was above and beyond made sure we enjoyed our visit. A must visit when in Warsaw.

You’ve got to try this place, said my friend David. I trusted him as he was very opinionated about most things though being younger than me I had reservations. Since then I have come here several times, bringing other friends and enjoying the fresh air sidewalk dining or a quiet lunch inside. Pictured is the steak, perfectly cooked and tasty, perhaps needing a dash of salt but I was completely happy. Other favorites, the steak tartare. A must. The pickled herring, the cheese platter for two! What a place. The service is attentive and polite as well. It’s a pleasure to dine here.

We didn't expect much and were pleasantly surprised. We walked long to find a non fast-food place that would feed us around 10pm with good terrace in the area, and this one did. We enjoyed everything we ordered, portions are more than enough, and the pierogi 🥟 were exceptionally good, the best we've ever had. Great experience that we would reiterate with pleasure. Location is great, service was perfect, price was acceptable although a bit on the higher end.

The soup in bread with boiled egg and sausage was good- loved the sausage. The only minus to it is that it was sour and I prefer the soup to be sweeter but that is just a matter of taste. The pierogi selection was huge (4 different types * two each) and I ate only the meat ones as I am not a big fan of the spinach and the other ones I didn't like. The chocolate cake was nice and light! Not the best meal I had in Poland but wouldn't take it off the list.

We were looking for a traditional Polish restaurant to try the typical food and boy did this place deliver! Herring for starters was simple yet unbelievably tasty and the cheese and meat board was also delicious, for mains we had a selection of pierogi and the typical Zurek served in a sourdough roll( best soup in the world)! Massive portions and honest prices and a very homely atmosphere. Shout out to our waitress Asia who was very kind and nailed the wine suggestion.

If future waiters want to learn how to behave with guests and how their work should look like, I recommend visiting this place. Absolutely flawless. Very good prices and excellent food. The food, the service, everything perfect in every detail. English speaking personel is great bonus. Thank you. If I visit Warsaw again this place is on my itinerary. If there was a chance I would give 6 stars. Maximum satisfaction.

Soup and sausage were nice and delicious. However the duck was a real disappointing. Such big duck with so little sauce and sauce was like jam rather than sauce.

Just an average dinner. It took quite long to get our dishes and the taste wasn't anything special. Service was ok.

Excellent service from all staff members, especially Kasia. Thank you for a great first meal in Poland soon after our flight! The roast duck took my taste buds on a rollercoaster.

Absolutely loved this place in Warsaw! The food presentation is top-notch, and the portions are incredibly generous. The staff provides exceptional service, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Huge thanks – I'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, quick service, very friendly and efficient staff who spoke good English, pleasant atmosphere. Suggestion for improvement: extend the awning in the outdoor section so that it covers all of the tables rather than just the first row and the rest don't get wet when it rains; with the current length of the awning, the seating capacity becomes reduced during rainfall

If you wanna try authentic Polish Cusine, do come to this place. We were checking the menu outside and Dawid welcomed us in and showed our seats in the table. Really good customer service. He was quick with getting order from us. Also when we requested a good Polish Beer, he gave us an amazing Pint. Food and ambience is really good here. I tried the Venison and it was just amazing. Would definitely recommend this place and would come back to this place again when we are back in Warsaw.

Good food. We sat outside but inside is also characteristic. Klaudia the waitress was helpful and she was explaining they are making dumplings on site. Very delicious meal. The schnitzel was just so perfect. The bigos was nice, would have been nice to have a bit more meat in it, but was still delicious.

Very tasty local food and beer. Bigos and duck salad were perfect! Pleasant and helpful personnel. Unfortunately, there were no ginger sirup for beer.

Excellent food and kind staff! We had the sour rye soup which was genuinely one of the most delicious soups we had in ages. The goulash in a bread bowl was also tasty (I suggest sharing though - it's so much food!) Their aged vodka should be tasted :)

The food was quite good, nothing special, but typical dishes for Poland. The service was great, but after the dinner your clothes smell on food (the kitchen is opened)

Super authentic Polish cuisine with very friendly staff! We enjoyed it very much! Absolutely recommend!

Great place in a great location near the center of Warsaw! We enjoyed the pork schnitzel xxl with cabbage (fantastic!) and beef roulade with Silesian noodles and fried beetroot. You can comfortably watch the busy street and enjoy a few drinks. However, you might want to reserve a table, as it was quite crowded when we were there.

Very tasty food and great service! Saw some reviews saying that it was not tourist friendly but decided to try anyway and was pleasantly surprised. They have English menu and the staff spoke English too and were very kind and friendly. The gołąbki was delicious!

Nice place for local food located right in the centre of Warsaw. I really liked the Pierogi. Sadly they didn‘t have a very large choice of drinks. I also liked that they offered a menu in English.

Very nice and cozy place where any tourist can experience the real flavour of Polish cuisine ☺️ Friendly staff and cozy place in the very heart of the city.

Terrible service! They seemed to be understaffed so we had to wait for the menus about 15mins and for the food circa 30mins. My boyfriend ordered the traditional sausages which were okay. I ordered the grilled goat cheese salad and I specifically asked whats inside before I ordered it. The waiter said 'just green salad, tomatoes and cucumbers, no peppers'. Unfortunately, that was not the case... there were peppers, strawberries and blueberries so I asked the salad to be changed and to be without peppers because I don't like them. What they did is just to remove the peppers instead of making a new salad and I could still see the leftovers of the peppers... really unprofessional! It never happened before to me... usually if a mistake of such kind is made, they should make-up for it, not make it worse!!!

Beautiful regional experience: amazing quality and taste of the dishes - as I was informed e.g. In cakes they use only ecological eggs and butter (instead of margarine). In other dishes- Ecological potatoes etc. The staff is Friendly. These days (Nov the 11th) they have regional St. Martin's Croissants (a few types, apparently delivered from another city: Poznań to keep certification) in offer, absolutely must try👌

Definitely one of the best restaurants on this stretch of Nowy Świat featuring traditional Polish food. You can also by a nice selection of condiments, jams and ferments... a real gem of a place.

Very good pierogi and generally excellent food. My friend was vegetarian and she had one or two options, which is not great. I loved the atmosphere

  • 4/5 Andrea L. 2 years ago on Google
Quality of the food was very good - however the breadth of available dishes seems to be narrower than other Polish restaurants and some of them were not available on the day I visited.

Amazing polish cuisine. Wide selection of salted and sweet dishes. Low prices. Always crowded - means that is very popular. Better make reservation. Surely we come back. Ivona and Paul

The employees were magnificent. The food arrived quickly and the only minus it had was a little bit too much of cranberry, that's all! I would definetly recommend.

    Good polish food.

It was alright, but I expected something better. A bit of a tourist trap. There are vegan options, which is nice, but some of them are not "traditional Polish", for example hummus, which was served as a starter.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND...I always give at least 2 chance for a place. But for here i am 100% sure that this will be my first and last visit. 2 days we wanted to eat here, they said "without reservation we cant" so today we called to make reservation and the lady said" we should personally come and check available places and they cant guarantee any place" anyway we kept ourselves calm and came to place. The welcoming waitress told that there is no place then another said they have place. We sat down finally and ordered our food at 18:40. Then at 19:20 we asked about our food which was not served yet although it was 40 min ago ordered. We asked the waiter about the situation of order and he answered we need to wait 30 more minutes. For 1 dish sausages and 1 pork snitzel... total 70 minute?????? Finally they also didnt care about our requests replacing boiled potato with fried ones. They brought how they wanted not how we asked. So if you want to try Polish food walk towards old town 300 meters from this place and on the right you will see Zapiecek.

Tasty and traditional polish food served in a very charming location. Portions are huge and they're delicious. We had the polish charcuterie plate and the schnitzel and it was all very good. We managed to seat inside, but the outside area is too cramped.

Really tasty traditional Polish food! Gentle and quick service! From the soups i recommend the traditional sour soup served in bread, from the main dishes definitely the "Forszmak Lubelski" and as for drinks, "Kombucha" would be the best choice to complete your Polish Cuisine journey. Thank you so much!

I ordered a duck breast salade, which was fine, but in my opinion it's too long to wait 30 minutes for your order. Same is when we wanted to pay - be ready to wait. Fine place to try polish food.

A great traditional Polish restaurant that everyone who visits the area must sample! You must try the Gołąbki and Zurek served in bread 🤩

  • 1/5 Michael K. 2 years ago on Google
Waited 30minutes for our order only to be told that it has to be changed. Our compensation was 3 free beers and a coupon for 15% off , for the next time we visit. Needless to say we avoided it with prejudice. The waiters were nice and helpfull however but i would rather eat anywhere else.

This restaurant doesn't care where you are from, be warned if you are Asian. Their handmade lemonade is quite “sour”, and the traditional Polish sausage platter is okay. Thanks to their meal, I had diarrhea after returning to the hotel.

It is a lovely traditional restaurant with great character and great service. I didn't feel out of place being here on my own. I had the mixed dumplings to try the local cuisine and they were delicious. I am glad that I didn't only opt for one variety.
