Little did we know when we booked a table at 19.00 on an August Tuesday evening that we'd be dining in luxury. Located along the tram line, Soul Kitchen was an incredible dining experience. Here's why. 1) Food: Every dish was cooked with care and some is prepared right at your table by the chef. To feed my wife, six-year-old daughter, and I, we ordered a basket of break (it comes with whipped butter, beans, and garlic and chive olive oil), the schnitzel, and risotto. Portions are big and every dish had full flavor. For dessert, we ordered a slice of pavlova from the dessert cart. 2) Drinks: Their wine list is large. We ordered two glasses of orange wine from France. It was refreshing! 3) Service: Professional without being stiff. Our server was timely and even interacted with our daughter in a kind way. 4) Space: It's luxurious, beautiful, and comes with live music and a well-lit outdoor patio.

Very nice dinner experience at the heart of Warsaw. Very enjoyable atmosphere with live music. The foods were all very delicious and reasonably priced. We had a duck and a slow-cooked pork rib, both were extraordinary. The desserts were also super nice. Good selection of cocktails and wine.

Amazing place! Everything is extremely high: food, service, atmosphere. It has been the best food experience for many years! Tastes were so different, so cozy and unique! I recommended it to all my friends. Prices are quite high, but it definitely worth!

I have visited Soul Kitchen on various occasions but the last time I had the pleasure to dine there, it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Exquisite food, elaborated dishes made of fresh local ingredients, prepared generally by the chef at the table coupled with fantastic treatment and service delivered by Dawid, one of the main waiters, as well as the live piano music, made our dinner a truly unforgettable and unique experience and a marvellous culminating point of our trip to Poland. If you’re looking for tasty food and a classy and romantic venue for a night out in Warsaw, Soul Kitchen is the place to be.

Really, really good food. Came in late at a Saturday evening and were lucky to have a place at the bar to have diner. Live music and although at 1,5 metres, it was not too loud. Excellent and friendly personal. All speak very well English. The barman knows what he's doing and makes lovely cocktails. We would highly recommend to make a reservation here.

The food was excellent. Our server took great care of us and paid attention to details, he was also knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. I do recommend to make a reservation before you go here. I forwarded to going here again in the future.

We had a lovely time at this superb but informal restaurant. Excellent food and wine. Great, friendly and helpful service. Our complete inability to speak Polish, to our shame, was no barrier at all

Really nice atmosphere and excellent food. The chef also puts a little bit of a culinary show by finishing the dishes next to the table.

Alltime favorite in Warsaw! The food and service are excellent! I had workday lunches here a couple of times - great value for the quality of food you are getting, but a la cart dishes are outstanding. Veal cheeks were great.

This place was by far one of my favorites in this city. The ambiance was good, the drinks were better. The dry aged rib eye with the truffle mashed potatoes were exquisite and the Duck Pierogi were amazing.

I was here at lunch time, the food, even from the olive oil and bread starter was just amazing. I think it might have been the best I had or almost in Warsaw. The waiter with a long funny moustache was especially cool. My only negative point is that I felt I wanted very long, but since I saw how many people were inside today I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt and leave 5 stars. Would recommend to anybody visiting Warsaw.

What a restaurant ! We had a fabulous dinner First time going out in Poland and Warsaw. I guess it s expensive for this city but really normal price for france. And worth it ! Quantity are very generous, good service, piano live in the background Lot of live preparation We had the seafood soup for starter which is big and delicious Main, Duck ! Very good, perfect cooking. Side dishes are pretty average can be improve And the famous Schnitzel!!! It is for a very hungry person ! It s actually almost too big to be honest

This was the best restaurant we experienced in Warsaw! Food was magnificent! Service was magnificent! While we had dinner, guy played the violin. Cook came to ask us is everything alright. Waiter talked with us and we really had fun ! If you are looking for a place to go, go here, you will not regret it!

This is my second 5 star review of this place. In a country where the restaurant service experience is often not that great, Soul Kitchen’s staff went above and beyond to make an ordinary lunch feel special. The food is consistently good and the menu has some very unique dishes. Ended up spending more time at the restaurant and trying some desserts - the crème brûlée and the cake. I was not disappointed.

Perfect five stars in plating. Also delicious cocktails. BUT the dishes are a bit of a hit and miss. Gratuitous play of overt flavours that does not balance (ie. prawns and chorizo) or the seared tuna served with a pot of teriyaki sauce where a mere dash would suffice. We adored the salad and the pierogi, which hits all the marks; but Soul Kitchen seems to be trying too hard to impress. And when one does that, dishes tend to lose its authenticity and simplicity. Service was smart and attentive, but could not cover for the chefs' shortcomings. A lacklustre experience which could've been...much more.

Really great restaurant. Better book table in advance. The food was amazingly delicious. My beef was simply melting as soon as you bite it. I have never eaten before such greatly cooked meet. The pork ribs were also cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. And of course, service is for 5 stars out of 5. Thank you the personnel to make our dinner awesome!

Had a great meal here with a few friends. We were a group of 10, and we were very surprised by the live music, very nice. Also they prepared the starter beef tartare right in front of us, which is nice. The butter with the potatoes was also melted with a torch on our table which was quite interesting. The only thing that we didn't like was how long one of the dishes took to arrive, from one of our friends, compared to everyone, which made us uncomfortable. The rest, the food was amazing.

Soul Kitchen was definitely a highlight of my dining experience in Warsaw. I was looking for something along the lines of elevated Polish food and this place delivered. I didn’t have a reservation but was able to grab a bar seat walking in. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and has a cozy ambiance. Servers are attentive and helpful and on the day I came in for dinner they had a violinist playing around the restaurant. I order the duck pierogi appetizer and the schnitzel for my entree. Both were delicious, though the duck pierogis were the star of the show. After finishing both I left the restaurant very full as portions were generous. Price wise this is very comparable to a meal in SF or NY and really worth it!

The service was great. The food was delicious. Gluten free options are available. We enjoyed our time at this restaurant. Call and schedule a reservation so you're guaranteed a spot. A pianist and vocalist were playing/singing live music during part of our visit and it was very nice. The lady had a wonderful voice. Highly recommend.

This venue is a definite recommendation, even though there aren't many photos. The service, meal quality, timing, and taste were exceptional. We had the pleasure of witnessing amazing live performances of grilling the meat and preparing desserts right in front of us. Highly recommended for friends' gatherings, dates, and family meals.

We enjoyed very much. For starter, oysters were fresh and even better without sauce. The today’s fish we ordered was salmon, and it was not over cooked or dried, but well-done. The schabowy was simple and huge and we couldn’t finish but felt smells of pork a bit and it could be better. Generally we liked the food and service was the best.

Quite busy there on a weekday. I tried coming in off the street on one night but had no table and booked a couple of nights later without a problem . Loved everything about our meal should have not had a desert each as the portions were generously served one shared would have been enough. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive either, but for me our best during our visit to Poland. Staff were mostly male, smart attentive, and bilingual all handsome men as well lol. Loved my Porn Star Martini ❤️

We loved it so much here while visiting Warsaw that we went back a second time during our week in Poland. The service was exquisite and the food was great! They even had someone playing the piano and a fantastic woman singer!

Lovely atmosphere, and great way to try Polish food in a nice setting! Duck perogis was good, and different. Zucchini flowers are probably similar to what you can get at a nice restaurant elsewhere. Tartare was generous, on the mustard side though if you're not a mustard fan. Good dinner!

Fabulous food and fantastic service, lovely ambiance inside too. Smoked ribs was fantastic loved them, no bones but loads of meat. Oven baked potatoes are brought to the table then a blow torch used to brown them up. Ox heart Tomato with mozzarella as starter was also good.

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday dinner yesterday and everything was delicious! We were surprised by the flavor combinations as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant and the extremely professional and friendly service! Looking forward to the return visit on next special occasion 😊 THIS PLACE DEFINITELY HAS ITS UNIQUE SOUL ❤️‍🔥 A personal hint: If it is still available in the menu, I recommend the soup with truffles and Jerusalem artichoke 🌱

Soul Kitchen is amazing. Just like the name suggests it’s soul food for the white boy, and girl. The dishes brought me right back to my childhood. Went for the 39PLN lunch menu (3 courses + drink!!!), plus bread (top chives infused oil). Menu changes every day. Cauliflower soup, pork ribs & a berry „smoothie“ (they called it fruit salad) - all of them great. Price/value is simply unbeatable here. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is incredible! The food is prepared and presented to the highest of standards and with brilliant displays. The wait staff are classically trained and professional. And the atmosphere is country chic with a luxury twist. The space is filled with floral scents. Truly amazing!

We ate at Soul Kitchen for the New Years Eve. It offered five different plates. Fillet mignon and the soups were fantastic, the foies gras parfait was not so great. The staff was very polite.

It's a popular restaurant, plus the restaurant is quite small (not many tables and seats), better have the reservation before you visit. We enjoyed the daily lunch set so much! Amazing friendly prices and delicious meals. We tried two soups, they were so great!! Tasty Polish ZUPY :))) Highly recommended! In the end, we also enjoyed their dessert of daily lunch set a lot, it was small but believe me that it's perfect :))) Cause just soup and pasta got me so full :)))

Amazing lunch menu, great food at affordable price, 35zl for first, main and dessert, with bread and water included, all in good portions. Can't beat it! However, no house wine, overpriced and not so good choice of other wines, and terrible phone network reception.

One of the most remarkable meals I have had in Poland. The lunch set menu is only 35 PLN and comes with lemonade, soup and bread, a main course, and dessert. Today's main was a pumpkin and carrot pancake dish with goat cheese which was phenomenal. Interior is well decorated and romantic!

Overall it’s a good restaurant. But since the restaurant is really trying to be „fancy“ and a bit more on the „fine dining“ side, there are a couple of things that could be improved. As a main dish I had the chicken with mushrooms. My friend had the Ravioli with pumpkin and goat cheese. - The portion of the ravioli was way too small. 3 Ravioli for ≈8€? Come on. That’s an Appetizer, not a vegetarian main dish. - The Choice of the dishes was really questionable. Chicken Breast with Mushrooms shouldn’t be served in a bowl but on a plate. I need to use a knife and a fork, not a spoon. - The salad wasn’t washed properly. We could feel the sand on our teeth. - The sauce of the chicken was missing something. (More) Pepper would be a good addition. It was a bit on the boring side of things. One dimensional. - The „cheesecake“ (Sernik) was a bit dry in my opinion. It’s worth a visit, but there is definitely room for improvement. I would actually give 3,5/5 rating, but that’s not possible. So I’ll give 4, because the service was really good. EDIT: I made the 4/5 rating a 3/5 rating after I had a couple of days to think about my visit at Soul Kitchen. I did this because I remembered now that our waiter forgot one of our orders for drinks completely. It’s still a 3,5/5 actually. But now I rounded down.

Mark was fantastic, from the moment we arrived until the end of the dinner. He recommended dishes for us to try and we couldn't have been more surprised and delighted with the food and wine he brought us for pairing. Attentive, present but not too much and always ready to help. He told us he has been working there for five years and you can definitely see the care and love he puts into his work. We will definitely be back, not only for the food but especially for this kind of service. Thank you for making this experience special, Mark!!

Good place for many occasions, nice interior. Visited this restaurant for a lunch, service was decent, but it was more like “come-serve-run” rather than a behavior that makes you feel hosted. Food was ok , but it was not menu based selection due to lunch time.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. I couldn't have faulted the food or service. Our waiter "Ashu" was very attentive and polite. I shall definitely be back the next time I'm in Warsaw.

Great dinner and great all around experience. The atmosphere is really nice thanks to the live music and food is amazing, with a lot of dishes being finished at the table. Price was higher than I expected but you could easily dinner here for 80-100PLN per person.

We went for the lunch menu as recommended by tips from online. It was so WORTHY! Nice service, very good portion of the food and for PLN 39/pp you have a 3-course menu for lunch with lemonade/water included. The food tastes pretty good too. Would definitely come back!

Great restaurant with a fancy feeling and exquisite central European kitchen. Definitely would recommend the duck which is cut by the chef at your table. Pretty big portions despite it being gourmet style. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I was expecting more from the slow cooked ribs I ordered.

  • 5/5 Kasia P. 2 years ago on Google
I visited the restaurant with my family for the wedding anniversary of my in-laws. The place is very cosy and has a nice atmosphere (live music, candles and fresh flowers definitely help). The menu is quite versatile, so we had no issue with finding the right dish for everyone, especially that a very interesting seasonal menu (with chanterelles and truffles) was also available. First we received a free starter (bread with nigella seeds and some olive oil). We ordered dumplings with duck, cranberry and sour cream as an appetizer, they were great. The soups (traditional polish sour rye soup with porcini mushrooms and broth with pelmeni dumplings) were also very good. For the main course we had risotto with chanterelles and truffles (very tasty), chicken with chanterelles and saffron milk cap mushrooms, wiener schnitzel and slow cooked ribs. Some of the dishes were served by the cook straight from the pot and the waiter was slicing the fresh truffles onto our plates, which was a nice touch. Each main course comes with some side dish (for example jacket potatoes with the chicken, mashed potatoes and cucumber salad with the schnitzel). We expected the portions to be small, but at the end of the meal we were so full that there was no room for dessert! As for the drinks, you can order some freshly pressed juices or lemonades with intriguing flavours (such as passion fruit + vanilla). You can also try out some wines that match your meal (if you're not sure which one to choose, you can ask the waiter for recommendations). There's a 10% tip included in the bill if you are a group of 5 or more.

Great atmosphere, service and excellent food! Walked in for dinner for a party of two and they kindly accommodated to squeeze out a table inside for us. The beef tartar was divine, the salmon and beef steak we had was excellent, especially paired with local wine. Would want to come back to try the duck. Apart from the food, the service was absolutely wonderful. Would give 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend anyone coming to Warsaw to dine here.

We had such a lovely experience for our last day in Warsaw. Having live music at the piano it gives such a great atmosphere, the food was delicious especially the tartar and the fish. They have a good selection of desserts and wine.

I have been here 3 times over the last year and make it a critical stop during my travels. This is absolutely the best restaurant in Warsaw. Not just the food, but the service is exceptional. Patryk and Igor are phenomenal and world class servers, the attention to detail and quality how they deliver the food and care for their customers is outstanding.
